The aesthetic in hilda amazes me and the colors🤩🤩 and someone finally mentioned hilda

Hilda's color palette is one of the most charming things about the show to me. I love that they kept that part of it from the comics, it just adds to that childlike storybook feel while still knowing how to be cinematic

I love how the character’s colours perfectly contrast the colours of the environments, they really pop out

I started watching this show on Netflix because of this video short! Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful show. I seriously adore and love the animation and story line of each episode. I’m 24 and I draw on my spare time. Hilda is officially one of my healing series to watch.

I recommend Carmen San Diego. Not only is the art style astronomical but the story is just *chefs kiss*

The broken outline with the texture really does help with the feeling I'm going for one of my drawings, just what I needed to see! As always, great little short

i love hilda so much i have seen it eight times. The art style is super cute, the plot is wonderful, and they are great at foreshadowing. Once you’ve watched it enough times you can see all the little details in the art and the things that hint to what will happen seven episodes later and it just makes the show even more incredible every time you watch it. It is so underrated and more people should watch it.

who was sad when hilda lost the forest house And when she lost twig i was literally about to cry but then twig came back THANK GOD the show would have never been the same

Maybe you should watch "Villainous/Villanos" it is a new show from Cartoon Network and IT IS GREAT! I think you could find it really interesting because of all the things that you can learn just looking at the designs and everything about the show is made afther doing research about it, you can really see the love that they put in this show.

Arcane: League of Legends has a really cool animation style. All the effects (smoke, fire, etc.) Are 2D and have a lower frame rate than the rest of the 3D animation. Also, things like shadows on people aren't blended, and instead look very geometric and contoured. It really helps give the show a signature, comic-like style, as Riot Games uses the same style in Valorant

things can be blurred in real life, drawing a blurry foreground or background could be great practice to get you out of the box

I suppose your issue is it's not the proper word? Because having certain objects be sharp and in focus, while the background/foreground is out of focus/blurry is a key part in how eyes/cameras work.

The color palette is probably my favorite part of the show❤️

I'm surprised he didn't mention why the night scenes look so great! When movies or TV shows make night scenes, usually there is a lot of color it's just darker, but in the real world, our eyes have a much harder time absorbing light at night. If you notice, during the night everything seems more muted if not monochrome, that's because our eyes have to operate on less light. Hilda makes the night scenes more monochromatic, and that makes them more realistic to the viewer whether you know it or not

I love this show. It's sad that it ended. But at least it's one of the few shows that got a properly made ending.

I liked the art style in "The Owl House". But looking at this, I'll add this show to my watch list as well because it does look very interesting.

I loved that show and one of my favorite things about it was the art style

I think the reason I liked Hilda so much is because when I first watched it, I was fresh off of the series finale of Gravity Falls and I wanted more of that and Hilda was exactly that.

I recommend to you ‘Jacob Two-Two'. The animation style is so beautiful and particular.

This tutorial literally told me to copy that style lol

Hilda also plays REALLY well with density. Adds to the backgrounds not conflicting with the characters.

I feel like any cartoon would work to review and give tips There’s always something that makes it unique or just something that can help your drawings pop

As an Hilda Fanart Artist i can say that these tips are really good.

One of the shows I watched as a kid was gravity falls and I liked Alex’s style especially that smile he gives Grunkle Stan, and how most the time in the show the animation seems simple but at times you get to see highly detailed moments like with bill or in weirdmageddon.

Hilda is such a great show and it’s one of the most unique shows for its use of limited colour palette, having different colour palettes for each time setting, simple but very pleasing to the eyes movement which makes it looks very childish but appealing for everyone. I also love drawing in the Hilda artstyle as its very unique and adorable and it is easy to draw too.
