I always find it interesting when people go to local places with speakers, let alone actually traveling with them. The only place I listen to music without headphones is at home as to not bother other people.

The beach…park..(you don’t need to have to music loud) …I’ll also have the speakers on at the airbnb/hotel if hanging out with a group/getting ready

Playing white noise while you sleep can block out a lot of noise in a hotel. Spotify has one-hour tracks that can be played on repeating loop.

I'll just say from experience this speaker is meh at best. I bought one at Walgreens on the way to a camping trip a few years ago (forgot my speaker at home at it was like 25 bucks). It's not the worst but it definitely isn't the best

If you purchase the Altec Lansing speaker it is important to buy the IMW258 model rather than the IMW257. Externally they look exactly the same, but the IMW258 adds two features: a 3.5mm port to connect the speaker to non-Bluetooth devices and the ability to pair the speaker to another IMW258 for true stereo sound. I bought two and I think the speakers sound much better in stereo mode. The speaker in this video is the IMW257 and it will not pair with another speaker.

love the Carbo, I have one myself. However it is expensive and unless you’re doing some more serious physical activity it might be overkill compared to the cheaper NB10000 Gen 2. I keep mine in my emergency kit but have the regular in my travel bag.

@0:24 I have the Carbo series and I greatly value a lightweight and slim design - and Nitecore knocked it out of the park as far as I'm concerned. Yes the Carbo does suffer with some LED backlight bleed which i hope they fix in the next gen. I ended up giving away most of my other smaller 10K & 20K powerbanks to family.

So many great gadgets.... you know though... those finger print locks are worthless if you used it to lock your backpack to a chair while in the pool or at the beach. It turns out when your skin swells from being in the water, the finger print sensors won't recognize your finger prints until your finger dries to normal. This happened to me in Riviera Maya, and I had to wait 10 minutes to get my backpack unleashed from the chair I had it anchored to. It was funny at the time, however a little frustrating.

I'm gonna have to say no to the Clutch-- maybe the V3 I bought was faulty or the output was way too low for current flagship phones, but it does not charge my Pixel 7 anymore, and I've had it for only a year. Maybe the Pro is better, but I'm not keen on giving it another chance personally. The Nitecore powerbanks are far better from the looks, and realisticaly I've never thought the "portability" of the Clutch to be a standout feature.

You really need to test the ESR MagSafe 3 in 1 travel charger. It’s light years better than the PowerBase Go. Just leave the huge case they send it in behind.

If you do buy the finger print lock, be sure to clear the pad after every use. Fingerprint biometrics are easy to hack. The oils from your thumb stay on the pad after use. A hacker can put a piece of scotch tape over the sensor, tricking it into thinking the hacker is using your thumbprint

Not on my kit yet, but I am saving up for it. The shiftcam pro grip is basically the grip Lauren showed, but for your phone. As much as I would like a DSLR camera, most of the time my phone is apt enough for what I need.

"Recharges with Micro USB" that's a sign that it's not good to add to the trip... you need an extra cable to charge it and it's already dated.... Don't recommend Micro USB products, stick with USB-C
