10 Surprising Uses For Hydrogen Peroxide YOU NEED TO KNOW

Here are some surprising uses for hydrogen peroxide you need to know! Hydrogen peroxide uses include disinfecting your home to clearing up annoying acne, to dissolving dried up ear wax, and so much more. You’ll be surprised to learn all the amazing uses for hydrogen peroxide. Chances are, you already have a bottle in your cupboard. If not, you can pick one up at your local pharmacy or grocery store. It’s very inexpensive!
Hydrogen peroxide is a tough, non-toxic chemical, considered completely safe. It breaks down quickly and harmlessly into oxygen and water, because it actually has the same chemical make up as water but with an extra oxygen atom. Despite its natural occurrence however, cleaning wounds is no longer one of the recommended uses for hydrogen peroxide, and it’s certainly NOT advised to ingest it!
However, hydrogen peroxide uses for hygiene and beauty remedies are countless. It’s an amazing, versatile, and affordable non-toxic cleaning and disinfecting agent that’s worth having around the house.

Pour straight out of the bottle onto pet stains in carpet, let it set 5 minutes and repeat. Also use it in a pump sprayer to get rid of mold in basements. It works better than bleach, and no toxic smell to deal with. And it's usually less than a dollar a bottle. Also used in a spray bottle for stained ceiling tiles. Use it full strength, don't mix with water for cleaning purposes it works great and it doesn't harm most materials if any. One more thing, sanitize pet bowls. Apologies for the long comment

I never knew about the mouth wash thing til about 10 years ago. I was getting it trouble at my school in my hometown so I was sent to live with my uncle (VERY STRICT AND DOESN’T PUT UP WITH TROUBLEMAKERS) til the end of the school year!! Anyway they didn’t use it as mouth wash they had me put it on my toothbrush before the toothpaste and on top after the toothpaste was on the brush!!! It worked VERY WELL!!!! I didn’t like brushing my teeth when I was younger so my teeth were kind of yellow when I went out there. After a few weeks I came home for one weekend and everyone who saw me were AMAZED!!! My teeth were VERY WHITE and I had lost a good amount of fat and put on a lot muscle! My uncle lives on a farm in a VERY SMALL town like an hour north of me!! Well this comment kind of got away from me and has a whole lot of shit that has nothing to do with what I was trying to say. But I’m not gonna delete it all and feel like I wasted time!!! If you’ve made it this far, THANK YOU FOR READING and I hope I was able to entertain you for a moment!!! 👍🏻

I use hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for 15 years every day (I am 61 now). Through all this period I use it internally, too. Every evening above 3 hours after the last meal I put one small spoon of 3% H2O2 in a glass of water and I drink it. You can consume H2O2 if it is a proper solution with no additive and if you dose it properly - and it rejuvenates your whole body tremendously in the long term. I also use H2O2 as the main protection against cold and influenza by moisturizing the entrance parts of the cavity of my nose and my ears (for this a few drops of 1% solution of H2O2 will suffice if your skin is sensitive). Just avoid putting H2O2 deeper in the nose because it can cause a burning sensation (this has no negative health effect but can be very unpleasant for a minute or two). For application inside your ears, you can use a small piece of soft cloth or anything similar. In critical periods repeat this procedure about 10 times a day. For general protection 3 to 5 times a day is enough. I have to say that before I started to use hydrogen peroxide I periodically suffered from cold and pretty terrible bronchitis. Yet from the day I started to use peroxide 15 years ago to this day I had no single instance of cold, influenza or bronchitis even in days most of the people around me were sick. I hope this information could help somebody these days to cope with coronavirus. I also suggest to everybody make his/her own research on the internet to get enough information about H2O2 from as many perspectives as possible, to get a proper picture which is not always obvious at first sight. I also use ionic (so-called "colloidal") silver for the last 6 years. It has an important advantage in comparison to other disinfectors because it stays active on our skin or inside our body (if consumed) for a much longer period. By the way, with H2O2 I tried to remove some fungi from part of my right nail but it goes too slow. Then I tried with ionic silver and succeeded relatively fast (considering nail grows slowly it still takes about four month).

@@flaca.b602 Yes, food-grade is must, the one without any additives or "stabilizers". Otherwise, you can buy whatever you can get, already diluted 3% or concentrated 30% or 35% (you dilute it subsequently with distilled water). My advice is to buy it fast if you can still get it because these days it is wildly used as a disinfectant and so it can run short in stores.

@@MsIniquity I understand that you would like to give an easy recipe. But you can also buy 20% hydrogen peroxide (or even stronger). When you mix it 1:1 with water, you have a 10% solution, which is still much too strong. It will still quickly bleach your tongue, gum, lips, throat, … anything it touches. If you gargle a little longer, you will damage your skin even more. If you mistakenly swallow “a little” of that concentration, you have even bigger problems. What I am saying: Aim for a final 1% concentration.

Wow my mom told me I think beginning of this year to rinse my mouth with hydrogen peroxide, she said her dentist told her that so she bought me a bottle & I use it every time I brush my teeth. I remember when I started I had a drink something that was too hot so one part of my gum was swollen/hurt & within that week my gum was healed, I continue using it because even though I’m not too fond of the taste I prefer it than mouthwash but I had no idea it can be use for so much more, wow will try these out.

I have been using 4:1 ratio for years and when I do get a sinus infection I use a 3:1 ratio in sinuses for about 30 seconds and flush it with the 4:1 solution.I always put about 1/4 teaspoonful of salt in the solution.I use 2 different ear syringes with my head tipped down into the sink.
