ANINDYA's INFOCUS actually iran was kinda a great friend of pakistan back in the day, as it was one of those countries (with turkey) that requested other countries to send aid and support to Pakistan in the 1965 war... relations are not that good lately, but it's not that bad as HATE....

Pakistan is 2nd largest suni country after Indonesia.. And 2nd largest shia country after iran... in pakistan suni shai live together .im suni.. nd love my shia brothers.. no matter if they live in pak or iran.. Pakistani never hate anyone who believe's Allah is one nd only .and MUHAMMAD S.A.W IS the last and final messenger of ALLAH 😀

When I lived in Iran in the 70's, the women in Tehran were as fashionable as any you'd see on the streets in Paris.

Iran had great history before islam like achamenid ,sasanid ,ashkanid empire and great kings like cyrus the great and they were zortoshtian before islam

Loved this video so much! thank you for trying to change the Iranian perception. This was a beautiful video❤️

I'm not sure what to make of this extremely short documentary about a country with such long and rich history and culture. Firstly, to try to cover every aspect of Iranian politics and society in mere twelve minutes is over-ambitious to say the least. Apart from the documentary being so disjointed, jumping from one topic to a completely different one without any kind of fluency, the video accompanying the narrative was for most part irrelevant and even inaccurate. For example, to explain marriages organised by the government in the Islamic Republic of Iran whilst showing an almost promotional, polished-like clip of Iranian marriage ceremonies you may witness in Western countries is wholly misleading. Not that such lavish ceremonies don't occur in Iran, they're however privately held and not government funded. Also, the bit about official Iranian flag, kept showing clips of current official version with image of tulip in the centre, and that of the outdated one, with image of a lion, belonging to the old regime some 38 years ago. Did non of the researchers and producers spot any of that?! Just as the film claims it's not here to bash anyone or any country, I'm not here to bash this film either. My only request is, if you're presenting something to global audience, make sure it's current as well as accurate. I hope the English course you're promoting for your sponsor is more reliable than this film.

The fact is that our country always been Iran and we people of this land called it Iran The name "Persia, Persica etc" has given us by Greeks and westerners, and Persia is just an state of Iran Iran is our original name and it's from ancient word (proto Indo-European language) means land of Gentles (Aryans)
