Ehm no, look how dirty the streets and the shops look like. The native people have no problem with the food cause they are used to it but a guy from the west would get surely diarrhea. I would not surprised when the "secret ingredient" is a dead rat from the backyard.

I am in awe of the new creations they come up with. The condensed version of the banh MI, etc I went to Vietnam 10 years ago and ate everything in sight...

Victor V Vietnam street food (especially snack) is all around under $2 mark. BEFRS team even went to school and university area for more variety and cheap food. And see genuine reaction of the noodle lady, she was camera shy and clearly not prepare for the shots, she definitely did not pay BEFRS to eat and give low prices. So did all other street food vendors. A peace!

Rice porridge was such a comfort food for me growing up…my great aunt n my grandma would make it on the weekend for us kids when we slept at their house…as I got older it’s such a great hangover cure…u can make it sweet or savory…it’s on my top 5
