Yeah, my local Sonic has never had fried pickles- which is sadness. We had a guy come in asking for them and he got super mad at us when we told him we didn't sell them. It's just a location to location thing. And if they don't have something like the stuff listed, don't get mad. The employees aren't in charge of what stays and goes.

I currently work of sonic and I can tell you that most of these items i’ve either never heard of or are discontinued. like with the frito pie, we don’t always have fritos in stock, because they only come around with special items.

I tried to order 4 of these items, they treated me like I was an idiot and they had no idea what I was talking about. I drove off defeated.

not worth the money, but it depends on the location on slowness, understaff, and how amicable they are towards employees. at the sonic i work at we're pretty fast but i will agree that everything is overpriced

I have been craving Sonic, it's been a long while, but those 'Extreme Tots' along with a couple foot longs is for sure taking me there sometime this week. Thanks for sharing this.

(Sonic Sunrise) Yes, we do sell this for our Frito Wraps. (Sonic Frito Pie) No? At least the stores I've seen never had ham. (Sonic Grilled Ham and Cheese) No... Sorta, we don't sell this but we do sell the Pink Lady!! (Pink Flamingo) Yes. Simple (Purple Sprite Attack) Sure? (Hickory Burger at Sonic) Sorta, we have fried pickles fries that return in the Summer! (Sonic Pickle O’s) YES, amazing slush or drink! (Slap Your Mama Slush) yes... (Dr. Pepper Orgasm) Yes. As a former employee of this chain of 3 years where I’m at most of the stuff (such as ham) we don’t have. Due to work conditions (AC ALWAYS ON EVEN IN WINTER). How they treat costumers and employees. Over all cleaning of the store ( no matter the amount of chores they gave us) the store was always extremely nasty. Or working us off the clock (that’s illegal). No amount of money will make me want to go back to work only a single day

Ok, coming from a previous sonic manager and member of 3 years let's talk about this video. 1. The Sonic sunrise is a Cherry Limeade with a shot of OJ, not orange juice with cherry juice. 2. Frito pie is accurate. On our menu it was an actual menu item. But to some it was a secret menu item. 3. While some stores offered ham, not all do. Including ours. I believe we had stopped selling ham many years back so maybe years ago the Grilled Ham and Cheese was popular but many stores don't sell ham. 4. Never, ever heard of the pink flamingo in the 3 years of being there. And we don't sell reusable cups. 5. The Purple Sprite Attack is called the Purple O. Aka the Purple Orgasm. The video got most of it right. Sprite. Cranberry juice. Powerade. Lemonade. But also has a shot of vanilla. 6. There is no Hickory burger. While true there is BBq sauce, to which we use for the Bacon Cheeseburger Toaster which has everything a regular burger has, with bacon, bbq sauce, and a large onion ring on top on Texas toast, there is no just "Hickory Burger". 7. Pickle O's are an actual item just varies by location. If its not on the menu, your store probably wont have it. And more than likely wont grab a handful of pickles and run it through the lengthy 3 process breading cycle we do for our onion rings per customer request. So if your store doesn't have them, oh well I guess. 8. No. Nobody in the 2 Sonics in my town nor in any of the surrounding areas has heard of a Slap yo mama slush. Maybe it's a location thing. Maybe an east coast, west coast thing? 9. I actually did have one customer before order a Dr Pepper Orgasm before. Its basically what's in a purple O except dr Pepper instead of sprite. So if it weren't for that one customer I never would have heard of that. 10. Yes extreme tots do exist. While not on the menu outside we did have a button on our menu terminal inside for Extreme tots. So good for you getting that one correct.

Hickory burger is most definitely a thing, it is a menu item at our store and is popularly ordered. The Dr. Pepper orgasm also does not have cranberry juice... it’s half Dr Pepper half lemonade with a shot of blue raspberry...

Managed a sonic for two years, most of this either doesn't exist, isnt a secret or there isnt a button for it. You can pretty much make any drink combination there and add any topping they serve to your food. If someone had asked me for most of this I would have been very confused. Dont try this, you will just feel like an idiot.

Ok so I work at a sonic and I have for four years and I couldn’t tell you what half of these are. Some of the ingredients to make some of them we don’t even carry at my store. So if you want one of these drinks order it as the ingredients not the name. It will make it easier on us because some of us will legit not know it but will be more then happy to make a specialized drink or food item if you tell us what you want in it and we have the product and ability to do so.

The Sonic near was so bad...it was closed...now that's pretty dang bad

Each sonic is individually owned and they don’t get to pick and chose what’s on the menu. Videos like this cause people to go and try the suggestions and then the customer gets upset because sonic literally doesn’t have a secret menu. Guess what’s happens after that... people complain. That looks bad on the sonic and the owners. “Don’t be afraid to tell them how to make them.” Sure, but do you realize that requires making an entire batch of batter for 1 order?!? Then what do they do with the rest? They discard it, that’s cost them money. Please DO NOT TAKE ANY ADVICE IN THIS VIDEO. BabbleTop I made a mistake when making this comment I meant most of the things in this video are ex menu items rather than secrets such as pickle o’s, extreme tots, and the grilled ham and cheese. Some of these drinks would be considered secret such as the Dr pepper orgasm or the pink flamingo but drinks like the sonic sunrise or the purple sprite have been promoted by sonic or are just known by someone who frequents sonic. But as someone who works there I may be overlooking this video entirely and this may actually be secret to a lot of people.

The pickleos are horrible. They are battered in the onion ring batter so if you like sweet fried pickles, go for it. And the chili pie doesn’t use nacho cheese, it’s just shredded cheese. And please don’t say these crazy names, No one will know what you are talking about . Lol

I'm reading thru the comments and I see tons of sonic employees claiming sonic does not carry these ingredients.. first off the fried pickles I've had myself and they use to be on the menu back in like 2002 of course they would have pickles it's a burger joint.. and yes they have pineapple juice I use to get pineapple slushes .. the only thing I haven't had is Ham but I will ask some friends that work at sonic ... She even stated in the video not all locations may have all the items and that sonic was first open in Oklahoma the state I'm in so maybe that's why they have all this. I have my heart set on the pink flamingo and the hickory Burger! The bacon cheese burger toaster is basically the same it has BBQ sauce and an onion ring. I've also have had the extreme tots! @@BabbleTop everything because I love it so much, accept the Bacon, the bacon is mundane at best, the reason it's the worst place ever is because their food " when done correctly" is so good I'd be balls deep in ched r peppers and burgers at this very moment, for some reason Corona is making people panic. Not the greatest or worst beer just baffled... I can't find any toilet paper in any store for the life of me, WTF is going in
