Can the switch bot hub remote settings show up in smartthings?

Can you use motion sensor (i have hub 2) to make it "connect" to my cheap bluetooth speaker (just a mirror that has bluetooth) and play music for X minutes, like spa music or something?from youtube or so,

Good job, Craig. I've been using their stuff a long time and most recently have one of their plugs that goes directly into Homekit without the need for Homebridge although I'm using Homebridge, too. I wish Switchbot would give a way to use a power threshold in Homekit or Alexa automation as might be used to determine when a washing machine is finished. I know there are other ways of doing that but just giving an example. I understand from one of the folks working on Homebridge Plugins that Homekit has not provided a way to use power monitoring devices in Homekit, but I have no idea myself. Thanks again and good job!

Thank you very much Hugh. I appreciate the nice comment. I always appreciate how deep you are into the smart home stuff. Like using HomeBridge. I love my hoobs hub for how it opens up SwitchBot. Like the different sensors in the Door sensors. That is a great idea with the power threshold automations. That would be very cool.

I’m pretty sure we can get our nespresso machines to work. I’m actually testing today. Just need to get the right positioning to get the bot to hit the button. Just be sure to replace the pod the night before or when you get your cup in the morning.

Hello, yes you can put it on the bathroom. You may need to create a double press action. One press to wake it, like mine has, and one to start the cycle. If it is a single press even better. Check out their page, they have some videos showing them on vacuums and so much more.

Love your videos. But I don’t get how a device can work with Siri Shortcuts but not HomeKit, how does that work? And do you need a hub for SwitchBot? Thanks

Thank you very much. 🙏 As I understand it, HomeKit requires hardware certification to be in HomeKit. Where i think pretty much any device can work with Siri. It is a programming thing vs a hardware thing. The hardware never has access to the HomeKit side of things since it’s not certified, but can still be triggered through Siri Shortcuts. Hey, Switchbot: Talk to me when you support HomeKit natively. Until then, “Hasta la vista, Baby.” Enjoyed the video, Craig, but Switchbot’s tech simply falls on deaf ears here-especially since I’ve spent the last year or so aggressively switching my entire smart home from a HomeKit-Alexa hybrid to HomeKit exclusive. The Echo I still use is the Show in the kitchen, where I still need Alexa to set multiple timers that I can visualize while they count down. All I need now is a HomePod with a screen and OS support for multiple timers at the same time.

Thank you Marian, I appreciate you watching. All it would take would be a HomeKit hub and it opens up a lot of their stuff. Maybe we will see that this year. I do like their HomeKit plugs.

Will the upcoming Matter support be solving this?

I'm wondering if you have any or if you have ever tested some Fibaro or SmartThings devices 🤔😅

Bluetooth is turned on in my phone, 2.4ghz connected, hub mini is connected to my Wi-F, switchbot bot is showing in the app but it takes forever to get connected to Bluetooth. Can someone help me get it paired?

why is it not alexa enabled?

It would be great if the Switchbot Bot was Wi-Fi, with no need of a hub.
