I totally get what you mean. It's a certain instinct you develop over years of practice and experience. It's all about experimenting. It's a hit or miss mostly. And a lot of trial and error. I have put 10 artworks here. But I did way more.. close to 25. And most of theme were misses. Just 10 of them felt like sort of a hit, and I put them up here. So just keep at it. Also don't forget to follow my digital art tutorial series where I share tips, tricks and techniques for beginners to help them quickly improve and get better at digital art fast. I hope they'll help you out. :) You can start with this: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f22q3NejXbDOedo.html

Meh I’m not really good enough to give advice but if you don’t know how to draw lighting I recommend you search up some videos, if you add some ambient / volumetric lighting it could make a painting look so much better than the initial result

@@kacpermielachowicz3486 yup. Using blending mode add for highlights and airbrush for light Ray's gives the whole art some realistic vibes..

You prbly need more knowledge on fundamentals is all. Form, lighting, perspective, material indication. Find stuff on how to take those to a realistic degree and you’ll surely improve :) There are books and KZread stuff on these things. And none of them are as scary as they sound. :)
@perfectlypriya4710
3 жыл бұрын
@@cole_r finally I feel like learning science wasnt a bad idea. I can easily identify the shadow in which direction to draw and it kinda depends on the sun position and the lightning . Although you dont really need to learn science to draw better art, but it still helps somehow and makes you learn human and landscape anatomy very well. Since anatomy is just geometric shapes arranged in a form to draw that particular art. It really helps :)

I love how simple your strokes are, but when all those simple strokes put together, everything start to make sense and become expressive and emotional. Also you are very generous in sharing your knowledge with us. Thank you!! I have learned a lot from you!! Bless you ☀️☀️

As someone who is new to concept art, and am currently practicing it. These are really helpful to see the process! I actually surprisingly, have adapted quite quick to working as zoomed out at possible, and I've noticed the skill has helped my overall composition in my other work as well. (Love the trick where you place something familiar in the landscape to allow the viewer to get a sense of scale for the piece. Especially when you use a human, as viewers we automatically place ourselves into the shoes of that tiny silhouette)

These pieces are amazing. This has definitely inspired me to do more environmental artwork and backgrounds for my character designs.
Not only is the art outstanding but ur commitment to the piece is even better.
This needs more attention!!!!
I LOVE the contrast you added with splashes of colored lighting like the orange light in the icy landscape. The details like the reflections in the water, the mist - WOW I just can’t get over these!!! Breathtaking. I set the video to play at .75 speed because I wanted to have enough time to soak it in!!! These are really amazing. I’m a 3d artist but since I hurt my back due to long times of never stretching I had to stop and slow it down. I’m thinking of just doing this now and learning more of digital painting and get my ideas down that way. Making 3d models takes a lot of time due to how many steps but I see this as a better option since it takes less time and looks amazing. Thanks for the inspiration.
