I had to watch the last few minutes of this video three times, it's insane how consistently you do those maneuvers. Maybe a trick tip Thursday for nollie 360 shuvs? Yours look so sick. Keep killin' it my dude

the reason they have that flock on the bottom is so they can consider those shoes as slippers so you can sell them so cheap. thats why old school converse used to have the same thing on the bottom.

This is a great review. I love how you mentioned Pierre Andre and his partner. Further more, your ability to identify the pros and cons of the shoes and what all skaters need in shoes... pretty awesome

The Vans slip ons you showed as the third pair of shoes. I just bought those same shoes at Walmart for a little less than $15 in the women’s section. They even have memory foam inside the shoes. I had a pair of Vans same color and everything but no memory foam. I loved them so much I started wearing them as work shoes about a year ago and busted out the rubber soles on the bottoms shoes the fabric was ripping with holes. I bought them slightly used off the Depop app 2 years ago. I wasn’t planning on buying new ones but I started getting pain in my feet and sciatica nerve pain on my right side. That’s when I knew the soles are done for it. I bought a women’s size 6. Because the other ones I had from Vans were a men’s size 5.5. They didn’t have a size 7 so that’s why I got a size 6. They do feel a little tight but I just think they need to be broken in more. I can’t return them because as soon as I got in the car I switched my shoes out and put the other ones in a trash sack in the car.

Thank you i have always wondered how those shoes would hold up!

I hope they've gotten better in the years since this video. I mentioned not having much as a kid and never getting my board. I was gifted a new board for my 32nd birthday but I have no shoes and no extra money so we're going to Walmart tomorrow cuz I'm not skating in heels. Let's see how well this goes 🤦🏾‍♀️

Mike Osterman Gotcha. I figured that tic tacking is pretty common after doing pogo and rail tricks (shit is hard), and I was just checking to see how that's factored in during competitions. I noticed you do footwork immediately after land, and assumed that was to reset your feet and hide tic tacking you may have to do.

I bought 2 pairs of the wal mart slip ons because of this video. And I hope to see how they skate. They have this cloth like crap on parts of the soul but I think the grip tape will shed that off in time. Great video btw 🔥👍

It's for tricks like caspers

i know this sounds weird, but if you want to remove that flocking off the shoe, you can take goo gone or a light solvent and it will come right off. I dont recommend it though, because the majority of the grip is invested in that flocking for the cheaper shoes. just my two cents!

Should just get Air Speeds from WM. Pat Duffy rides for them. Still WM shoes but actually pretty skateable. Just put different insoles and make sure you get your exact foot size and your good to go. This is coming from an old fart that needs better shoes to ride but if your broke these work great :)
