Not having friends is not an indicator all the time that you’re a poor friend. Sometimes someone has been betrayed by most friends or had jealous friends so you ride alone and very selective of friends.

Amen continue being real like Jesus Christ and God may grant them repentance, winning souls to Christ. No one really knows what’s going on in a person’s life but God especially now. This is why it’s important to develop a real relationship with Jesus so we don’t forget that and for discernment. If we are Christ like we can help win them back from a lukewarm fellowship to Christ. They may have sin in their life and need you to help them confess it. 2 Timothy 2:24-25 Matthew 6:14-15 Romans 12:2-10

It took me a long time to realize other women were jealous of me. I was struggling, insecure, and not happy. I could not fathom that anyone would be jealous of me. Once I felt better about myself and started to shine, the jealousy increased. This is sad, because no matter what anyone looks like or achieves, they need friends and support. I edit these jealous people out. Sticking with my close circle of besties :-)

A few things I’ve noticed as red flags: 1) Springboarding. This is when you take the initiative to bring something up that concerns you. Maybe you say, “hey it seems like you were a little snarky the other day, what’s happening?” They say they can’t remember or they are dismissive and gaslighty. Then they proceed to springboard off what you said to bring up something that bothers them. You say, “I’m happy to speak about that separately, but I’d like to discuss the concern that I took the initiative to bring up.” 2) Othersiding. You tell your friend about someone you’re having trouble with at work, whom your friend does not know. Your friend takes the side of the other person when they should listen and support you. 3) No Follow Up. You start a new job, you start a new hobby, you go on a vacation. They don’t call you and ask you how it’s going. You see them and you feel disappointed because they don’t say “ how’s your garden coming along?” “How’s the new job?” No follow up. Hope these help :-)

Hopefully, she'll wake up, address her own issues and learn to be better person. Pray for her.

That's wonderful, congratulations I hope you much success. I had a so-called best friend who was also my real estate agent for almost 20 years so she pretty much knew my income. The more I invested in real estate using her the more crap I started getting from her like oh I know you don't have to look at prices like the rest of us. Or not everyone can buy xyz item without thinking about it and on and on. At first I was shocked and then hurt and I'll admit I was a little slow but I realized she was jealous of me and not really my friend.

I have a friend that can’t bring herself to compliment me. Ever! Then it’s my birthday, she would rather use my worst pictures. lol I’ve seen her talk all types of shit about a girl’s wedding yet posted it like she was super happy for her. So I’m pregnant now and she has beef with another one of my friends. She’s like basically they might fight there. I’m like wtf I’d kick her out cuz why the f would you come to MY BABY Shower to start drama? Then she’s like she’s only coming for food that’s it. Writing this rn I’m about to block her ass. I didn’t tell her I was pregnant because she’s a hater since hs I’d notice things but keep brushing it off. But she’s definitely jealous of me for some reason. Like she can’t even bring herself to congratulate me on anything. Definitely about to cut her off.

I set boundaries finally on a 37 year "friendship" too. Certain things she said or way she said them began to make me question her. We live in different states right now & when Rona hit I got closer than ever to God & more in tune with my spirituality. Lost my mom 2017 & that really changed me for the better as far as dealing with others. To end connections that no longer served a purpose in my journey. My friend lost a longtime friend of over 35 years. I began to go back in time how she would spend so much time with her like holidays, etc when she knew I did not have family to be with and spent so many alone. Early on in our friendship we did hang out but I got married so that eased up. So many other things I realized that although we had very long talks on the phone but not hanging out like she did with her friend that passed. She then started saying that she & I could hang out to places she & her friend did or she would visit. She cares for her mother so I did understand why she said that. This convinced me that all of the years I shared the good & bad in my life was not what I was going to continue or needed to any longer. I changed but she did not & I actually was bored with our talks. She has been there to listen to many of my problems & circumstances I found myself in but I find myself at peace these days the less I talk about things vs her believing she knows it all. Honestly I really didn't take her advice. Lastly, whenever I talked about men she got quiet or bashed them or try to tell me what to do (she is bisexual & I'm not) & it was clear to me that she desired me as many people said that's what it was when I mentioned how she behaved when I had. Havent talked to her in 6 months & she called. Texted her back. Whenever I've talked in the past she would at times bring up bad things that happened anyway & this made me question the friendship even more. What friend brings up another friends bad times? I'm just glad God gave me the discernment of spirit about her & instructed me to let her go & with this time off during this pandemic it opened my THIRD EYE to see people as they really are.

Many times I have wanted her input about something going on in my life but I stop myself. here is a secret that a lot of people don't know......you are already half way there. First you admitted to yourself that you felt this way inside and that's huge! Many of us walk around here in denial lying to our self confusing ourselves more. Most likely your feelings are coming from a place of just wanting to be in a similar relationship and listen my friend, that don't make you a bad person. Take it from me I have people in my life I would do anything for or hurt anybody for her HOWEVER, one person very close to me biggest flaw has been how she always put her self down and deep down inside allowed her feelings of lack make her secretly display negative feelings to other people that she loved.... it's been extremely traumatic for me to helplessly have to watch... but as a grown man now I realize that EVERYONE has choices and must be accountable. Often we feel someone else close to us who experiences success that we may have not yet achieved is some type of knock on us but why? We don't feel that way when we some celebrity have success and maybe because we don't know them personally? But here is the secret and it really works! When you identify you are having these type thoughts about a friend or family or colleague TAKE IT TO GOD and talk to him sincerely and ask him to remove these negative thoughts and sometimes talking to GOD about whatever it may be will move you to tears, but if you are sincere and you state EXACTLY what you want and desire it can happen for you so long as you don't talk your subconscious mind out of it with our negative conditioning and programming.... envy is the FASTEST way to not get what you desire! We all have the capability to be greedy, selfish, envious, hateful, etc..... we also have the ability to be self aware and correct this type of thinking.... our biggest fight is with ourselves NO CAP! If we look too good and we got money the fight becomes against our own arrogance, if we don't have those things the fight becomes against our bitterness or ideas of lack I always prat that ALL ideas of lack (financial, mental, physical or spiritual) be removed from my spirt because it is the idea of lack that makes us feel these negative emotions..... if you REALLY LOVE YOUR FRIEND then truly be happy for her and watch how GOD will bless you.... true love is truly wanting for our brother (friends, sisters, cousins) what we want for ourselves. When we make the mistake of thinking we are better than others (arrogance) or make the mistake of being envious of others all we are doing is BLOCKING OUR OWN BLESSINGS..... start listening to Dr Joseph Murphy videos (power of the subconcious mind) and Reverend Ike videos and videos like this girl on this page (whom I stumbled upon but like) and meditate and keep your mind busy and focused and watch how you start to manifest more of what you want in your life

I had a friend like this. I celebrated her and was always supportive of her. She downplayed my accomplishments, downed my relationship acted like she was happy when I got married. She competed with me constantly and she always commented on the fact that I was not as flashy as her. Claimed I was so jealous of her and I was not. I prayed about her being removed from my life and 3 months later of avoiding her she came out the bag on me and told me every hateful thing she could. It was confirmation for me. She could never be a friend to me anymore. I looked back and realized she was toxic to anyone who she was close too. Self care is letting go of toxic friends.

You have to pray for God to give you discernment if this friend is truly out to get you or is having some other insecurities or brokenness and it’s playing out/showing up in your friendship. If the friendship is worth saving, talk to your friend about what you are feeling but don’t go in accusing your friend. Just be vulnerable about your feeling and how it’s affecting your friendship and you want to work on it to save the friendship. I’ve had a friend copy everything I was doing and it was not because she had it out for me it was because she was struggling with direction for her life. She found inspiration from my dream until she was able to be strong and truly follow the direction God was giving her for her gift/calling. I’m glad I didn’t just dump her and our friendship.

Having dealt with rejection, jealousy, secret haters, backbiters and fake church folks forced me to stand alone in Christ. Learning how to be happy in a spiritual confinement and remembering how much I am loved by God. I want to celebrate all those who have never had unconditional love and acceptance. I’ve had friends that would always always make it known that she was in competition with me. They would clearly state it. Like “ I’m graduating before me or compare finances, etc.” I was always the giver and I would never speak up on their behavior because I would be scared to hurt their feelings and talk to them about it but in a few occasions I would eventually snap after a breaking point.

This whole list is why I just quit having any friends period. Too much and too exhausting to have female friends. I only had male friend growing up. I have had friends come on to my husband, my son, jealous, hateful, plot against me and yes talk about me. And these were CHURCH friends. And I thought the church was different. Nope

Yes! I had a very upsetting experience where I was bullied for a long time at work. I had a coworker 'friend' working under me who was very nice to me privately, but whenever people were around, she would try not to talk to me. She would text me constantly at work, but when people were around, she would like shush me. No one at work knew we were friends. I can't help but think, some of the bullying would have dissipated had she just been open that we were friends.

True. I have had friends who used to get jealous if something good happened to me. When I first met my boyfriend and told my friends about him and met him. My friend turned around and said I was not good enough for him. I was so shocked that it came out of her mouth. First time I saw her for what she really was

This is all so true! I've come to learn that I can NEVER be friends or associate myself with people who show any signs of extreme insecurity, and/or people who talk about other people badly to me. Like, they always end up redirecting that energy towards me. The same goes for arrogant people because to me, that's also a sign of insecurity if you have to announce how great you are all the time. Confident people don't do that. They let their inner light shine on its own.
