What my beagle Kelli shows me. She definitely loves her mom the most.

When my beagle looks me in the eye, he's just saying "get me some treats". Its all about food.

My beagle will follow me around the house, and stare at me until I sit or lay down, they she jumps on me and slobbers all over me for 2-3 minutes! 😊 Kinda gross, but its sweet to know your pet loves you so much.😊 Not sure how i could stop it at this point anyway?

Mine doesn't like to take naps with me. He likes to slam his entire body into my face if he catches me sleeping on the couch. When he does that. It means he's demanding to be petted lol. He's kinda pushy like that.

I heard somewhere that licking around the mouth is actually not to show love. It instead holds a more practical purpose and is in line with their obsessive and constant search of any and everything they can get in their mouths. The claim is that They lick your mouth to induce vomiting so they can re-eat your meal. Not sure it’s true but it makes me laugh every time someone lets there dog lick their face and joyfully proclaims “he’s giving me kisses”!!

Uhmmm.... you can train your dog not to lick you, if you start as a puppy. Licking is icky. My beagle doesn't lick me, but he makes a piggy-grunting sound instead. His way of making a kissy sound. :)
