This is definitely me, but IT SUCKS. Don't let his nice smooth, calming voice fool you. If you are one of these people, IT SUCKS. Your energy is CONSTANTLY drained... people start to milk it like crazy and take you for granted. They HATE your boundaries, and are always trying to break them. They gaslight you like MAD if you don't do what they want or say what they want. You take on other people's problems, and can't shake them off for weeks. You never feel at home anywhere, because your mind and heart are always roaming. You are never satisfied because you hold yourself to an amazingly high standard because you know you are a BEACON for others. I COULD LITERALLY KEEP GOING... so long story short, it's great having all of these qualities, but JUST KNOW YOUR LIMITS... or people from all walks of life... with a plethora of problems... everyday... everywhere you go... day and night, 24/7... will send you to the loony hospital.

It sounds like you are still learning to stand by your boundaries. I felt it was a curse until I incorporated a higher power into my life to protect me and lead me to people and places that edified my energy rather than sucked the ever living life out of me. Grounding and consciously shielding helped me exponentially. This is most easily done for me with meditation. I try to quiet down morning, midway, and night for direction and peace. Whatever you focus on, you will find. Your perception creates your reality. You can still shine bright and even brighter when you embrace your gifts. You'll get there! It's a process of progress, and winters make way for spring. Thank you for your honesty and openness. May you continue your growth and healing. 💞🙏 May all pituitary glands be free! 🎉

Take care of your health, adrenals, get enough (plenty) sleep, eat clean, don't overindulge too often, get out in nature as often as you can. Although we are strong individuals, we do need to take extra good care of ourselves. Otherwise the world will drain us.

Yes. I would say. I am. Not knowing I was ,till divorce hit ,then I became homeless. Forced out of my house by gun point. I started to rebuild my life. With nothing. Then only to meet someone , believing I was happy. Only to find out years later she was an opioid addict. Now I rebuild my life again. It takes strength and knowledge. And a whole lot of thinking.

Actually, a sigma empath knows their worth. Just like he does. Just not enough of us are willing to express it in that way. Because of people like you. It’s not arrogant, it’s brave. I disagree. A sigma hates the spot light. But a sigma empath chooses to anyway because of their out-of-the-box thinking and intuition can help any giving situation or experience for the better. The alpha MUST be the center of attention at all times. Whether it’s helpful or not.

@brandonlee7720 I would actually clarify to say that the Alpha likes to be on top of the hierarchy. The Sigma is parallel but isn't on top of any hierarchy. But sometimes, the Sigma could take over the Alpha spot. This isn't common though.

Sounds like me. I find people automatically expect more from me than they do from others. I work with the public. People are even verbally abusive to me and not to others doing the same job. How can I protect myself from this? I enjoy working with people but this neediness always wanting more from me is exhausting.
