Not defending anyone, and yeah many are suspicious but getting older and losing that body mass you had as a younger man, doesn't mean "you are clean" so used before. Neither does something's like "acne", I have acne at times, on my back too, and I have never used roids. And some people can pack on muscle really really fast, doesn't mean roids. Only way to know 100% for certain is very good testing. The problem is testing isn't 100% accurate either. I'm not certain about McGregor as he's a master of changing weight limits, and he's extremely dedicated to working out and training. But Cyborg? Dang, that's a pretty apparent one for roids, she hasn't just packed muscle on but has had huge body transformations.

I don't think Conor's on juice at all. He looks puffy and bloated. He's red in the face 24/7 now and his voice is hoarse because it's clearly unnatural for him to be even walking around with the combination of more muscle and fat than he's used to. Then you look at Usman who's massive but pretty cut despite being huge, is twice the size of Colby (admittedly a smaller welterweight but still 6'0 like Usman) and can keep up with him despite being twice his size and Colby being a known cardio freak. I know McGregor's only gradually getting himself back in post leg snap and it's just training and early days but even when he's doing pad work he literally looks slow and stiff, lumbering from all that weight. Not even like he looks at 170lbs where he still looked phenomenal against Nate and Cowboy. But here? It's more powerlifter than bodybuilder and it shows in his performance and in how beefy he looks (rather than say a Chris Hemsworth who's getting more towards ginormous and still absolutely shredded) while also carrying a clearly proportionate amount of fat and clearly straining from carrying all that now added muscle and fat. He's become exactly what he said not to do in his prime (where he talked about the dangers of purely bulking up, looking primarily at weight lifting and maintenance alone as opposed to growth and movement and fluidity and function). Old Conor would snap 2022 McGregor in half.

Have you never seen a bodybuilder before the cut of the off season? Many many forms of PED with different results. Being shredded has nothing to do with it.

I have been working out for over 20 years. I am off and on though. But I have had a sometimes of serious gym and diet times and have been able to get really sting and look awesome but then lose motivation because I wasn’t deployed or something. I have done steroids a handful of times and the results were very impressive. But the best shape of my life was without steroids. I wasn’t as big and strong but I was cut and my body felt so much better. These fighters can get in great shape and be shredded without gear. Just because a guy is ripped doesn’t mean he is juicing. But serious transformations over a short period of time is pretty much an indication of use.
