7:26 Thank you for doing this. I am a seasonal worker at a nursery. We are so exhausted but love seeing the excited shoppers.

Thank you for all of your hard work!
it's true, I love plant shopping during the week when the stores have no one there :D great tips, thanks for sharing
My Aunt works in the garden center of a big box store. She really knows her stuff and is very caring and compassionate for the plants! Her plants will be well loved at her store! (Eta last few sentences).
Some good simple advice. 👍
Another great video today and great shopping at the nursery so many beautiful flowers containers. Thanks so much for sharing with me.

Thanks for the tips!
Thank you!
All good advice, all of which I follow, particularly native plants, I have found that hybridize plants don't last more than two seasons in my garden found out the hard way with expensive hybrid echinacea, should've stuck with the native plants, however soil conditions can vary in your state, I live an area where the soil conditions very, I live in area with heavy clay and rock in the mountains and have talked to others who have very sandy soil, good advice enjoy the video.

Good morning
Ôi nhiều giống hoa đẹp quá thật tuyệt vời 🌺👍.
If you find a plant that is root bound consider yourself lucky. If it was repotted in a larger pot it would cost up to 5 dollars more. When you get it home cut a half inch to an inch off the bottom before planting and watervwell.
Great tips!
Don't plant ivy unless you have the time to upkeep and restrain it! It can look very nice in a potted plant grouping, but if you put it in your shady bed, don't turn your back! The same is true for virginia creeper, japanese honeysuckle, vinca major and pepper vine. All fine-looking plants, but vigorous spreaders.

And not just seeds. Plants!
I did not find this video helpful, as this has definitely NOT been my experience interacting with employees at garden centers, especially the big box ones. At the very least it is unpleasant and it is a BIG hassle every time I go there. 1. Employees who know nothing about gardening, who only know how to operate a cash register, and shouldn't even be working there. 2. When I ask about plants that are common, they have no idea what I'm even talking about, forget about even asking them about Latin names. 3. It makes no sense to ask WalMart employees about plants because no one is working in there. When I asked the supervisor why no one is working in there and the outside doors are always locked he said they couldn't find anyone to work in the garden center because no one wants to work. And it's gardening season!! This is the fault of WalMart because they do not do their outreach properly. When I told him that there must be at lease 50 state certified master gardeners living in the city and that they should contact THEM for employment he seemed very annoyed and the conversation ended abruptly. 4. I always take my Sunset gardening book with me, if I'm unfamiliar it tells me just about everything to know about a plant before I buy it. Even though it was printed 20 years ago, it remains the Plant Bible. Yet, employees have never heard of it and you can't buy it at any garden center I've ever been to outside of California. 5. When it comes to buying plants I feel like I am totally on my own, as employees are so rude they are not worth the trouble to talk to them, it's a waste of time to try.
