10 Safest States in a Zombie Apocalypse (and worst)

Спорт

There are different studies to determine the safest states in a zombie apocalypse, but all of of them are flawed in some way. I present my own research on the states most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse. I also cover my methodology and look at the WORST states to live in during a zombie apocalypse.

I'm from Washington and I personally think it's one of the best states due to the easy access to water (just put out a bucket and you have drinking water) and relatively mild weather. Easy fishing, plenty of woods. Just avoid the big cities and I think it's a top 5 state personally.

I know it would be hard to rank but would topography play a part into the ranking? is a swampy state the same as one riddled with mountains and large hills, would it be the same as a desert or a vast flatland? Awesome job as always keep up the awesome work! More ranking videos would be cool too. Nuclear fallout rankings or other apocalyptical stuff would be awesome!

Thanks for the comment. I'm debating the next video idea. As for topography, I didn't include that because there are so many pros and cons to each. For example, vast flatland would make mobility for zombies easy, but you could also spot them miles away, and it's (for the plains at least) better for farming. Climbing mountains would be hard for zombies, but living in the mountains would burn more calories for survivors. You get the idea, it's like what I said in the video, southern land has a longer growing season, but winter could be a good time to "clean up" the undead.

Well I'm up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin very low population great water and plenty of guns just because you gotta with all the apex predators here. I wouldn't go south just because of population density.

Live in a small farm town in sw ontario Canada. Low density, decent health, lots of different crops, 2 mennonite colonies, town is armed and an oddly high amount of veterans. Also sitting on one of the largest aquafiers in the geographic area.

Idk man. I feel like most people with common sense are going to know they need to get away from population and have acess to fresh water, food as in local foragables and hunting options and likely the top 10 on there, are obvious. Most people wont trek up to Alaska though, but Montana. Wyoming, North Dakota ya know less populaged states will become becons for folks. Im in Oregon, ranks what, 12 on that list and i think staying or going to states that are around that level, say from like 6-15 on that list would be ideal. Mainly to avoid conflict and crowds since i think most people with abandon their heavily populated states and head to the nearest least populous state. Me, Im going to go to the either the coastlands of Oregon where I know a lot about native planta and whats edible etc.. or heading to a mountain range nearby or possibly migrating between them. Or f it, go up to BC Candada area. Its very similar to the pacific NW with worse weather which will detur many many people from coming up there. Sorry for the longest comment ever. Great topic!

Land vs people in Ohio. Ohio is almost empty. The population is in the north or south.. we are mostly farm land and we harvest some world class trophy bucks.

I would think that Texas would be a great state due to the fact if gun right owners, farmers and ranchers, mulit-skilled trades, our own power, our own water, Texas was the only state not deeply impacted by the depression because the community came together, did great as far a community during hurricane Harvey, second biggest state to vast lands with hills, trees and the such, military and NASA for the science part of things so all in all Texas has everything that is needed and the community can cime together to push against zombies 😊 let me know your thoughts
