    Jalen's teammate Julius Randle also honestly belongs on this list. Man went from a role player in LA, to average NBA starter in New Orleans, and then a star in NY. Interesting progression from so many of these players.

    Mikal Bridges wasn't seen as just a three and D guy even on the Suns. He definitely had more on-ball chops. He just didn't get enough usage in Phoenix.

    @@danimalman3 It took him 3 years before he started really producing in Dallas and 4 before he became an All-Star. Any way you slice it he doesn't qualify for this video as he didn't become an instant star upon being traded.

    The title says “star” not “superstar” None of these guys were “superstars” outside of James Harden. Wallace is in the hall of fame, though, with 5 all NBA and 4 dPOTY. He was definitely a “star”
