It has already ben stated in the community many times, but the Seltas pair and maybe even their Subspecies would be really nice to see in Wilds. They were, iirc, the first monsters to actually fight alongside each other, and it'd be cool to see the Devs expand on that dynamic, even for other monsters too. Their desert Subspecies would fit really well in the biome that we see. Also, Ahtal Ka. I guess the Neopterons are just really cool for me.

Seltas is great. No "if"s and "but"s, it's just a top-notch design and concept I remember the first time me and my friend saw Seltas Queen viciously killing her drone and cannibalizing it right in front of us. This is such a unique interaction. Or (something I never saw myself, but watched it on KZread) how Desert Seltas Queen has specialised long pincers to dig out hibernating Seltas drones from the sand. Or how it can throw them at hunters so forcefully they explode on impact It would be such a treat if they return in Wilds

i'd love to see a subspecies of Goss Haraag, they could make a lava version with obsidian weapons and a blast breath, or even a storm version with lightning attracted breath, instead of direct damage from its breath it just calls a lightning bolt to strike your character when struck. oh, and magnetic metal weapons..

I really like those ideas, especially the metallic one. Something like a thunder Goss with the ability to generate magnetic fields in its arms to make weapons out of ferrous metals in the nearby area...

Furthering on the lightning Goss, just have his weapon be the lightning rod like we see in the game trailer. Powers him up and he can huck it on the battlefield and have lightning rods on the field or breaks the lightning rods we see around and use it as a lance/javelin. Along with upping how much the lightning he breaths or attracts with his own body can arc towards things on the field.

I think a goss subspecies should focus on it's blunt weapon form, regular goss most commonly makes blades out of ice so a subspecies should only make the blunt club like weapon, like the magnetic idea but the electricity makes chunks of metal rich rock clump on its forearms forming clubs so it uses more smashing attacks instead of slashing attacks

Nothing makes me happier than Gammoth being on the thumbnail of almost every video like this

There was like, one or two new monsters in Rise that were "traditional" lizards or dragons. Magnamalo and Lunagaron were both Fanged Wyverns, Almudron and Somnacanth were both Leviathans, Goss Harag and Garangolm were Fanged Beast, Tetranadon was an Amphibian, literally the third ever behind Zamtrios and Tetsucabra, and Rakna was a Neopteron. Not to mention that even the Bird Wyverns like Aknosom and Izuchi had really unique designs as far as they go, since all the new monsters in base Rise were based off of various Yokai. We had a Giant Spider that spider-mans around by chucking it's babies, a giant Otter Catfish that creates new terrain to fight on, and an Ax-murderer Oni Bear with a giant ice sword. I think you may be slightly misinformed when saying there is no variety.

Fanged beast are the exact opposite of variety lol They've been in litteraly every game since their introduction and are the literal 4th biggest class (under only litteraly the Flying, Bird and Elders) And Rajang, that's enough said.😆 Edit: every game but Tri, but then Portable 3rd featured 4 of them so I got confused there sorry😅

I would like to see most of the mh wilds is new monsters besides the Raths which are in every mainline game but I do hope Dalamadur comes back same with Jen and Dorhren moren and some more frontier monsters

Gammoth is perfect for Wilds. They’re bringing back Rise’s fur physics, bigger more open maps with less tight arenas and corridors, the herbivores have proper herding AI and collision, if Gammoth doesn’t come back I’m gonna cry

I'd love to see all of these and more, like the Leviathans. They should be used more, it was super unique and I think it'd be incredible to see in modern day. Another one I'd like to see is the shark monster whose name I can't remember. I know it was in Generations Ultimate but I don't know if that was it's origin or not. Overall, a lot of monsters I'd like to see come back.

Hyujikkiki from the Frontier saga would be a nice addition to MH Wilds, his Coyote/Porcupine aesthetic goes perfectly with Wilds environment.

Very nice picks! Gammoth would also be on top of my list. Honestly we kinda got spoiled with Elder Dragons in Gen 5, but I‘m still very much hoping for a thunder dragon that fits the traditional build to round off the elementals. If we’re talking Frontier anyway; Rukodiora, I‘m looking right at you. Majestic magnetic beast :‘) I would also love to see the crystal scorpion hit the mainline games. I think it was called Akura Vashimu. And I kinda would love the return of Nergigante.

I just need more monster variety. Give me more mammal like monsters of course more snake type monsters. Definitely more insect types maybe even some monster plants would be so unique.

If I had to pick 10, they would be: Monoblos (he needs a second chance) Tetsucabra Najarala Gammoth Glavenus (and at this point you might as well throw in the rest of the fated four) Legiana Odogaron (assuming they can figure out how to get him out of the Vale while making sense) Somnacanth (just really like it) Rakna-Kadaki And Akura Vashimu as my pick for the next frontier monster to bring back.

So many of the monsters I want to return are honestly monsters from Frontier, but the ones I want to come back the most are Seltas Queen and its drone.

I want Taikun Zamuza to return from Frontier because it has multiple layers and stages in a way no monster has in the mainline or portable series, and it being a carapaceon helps make him even more unique in a series where most of the large monsters are reptilian and mammalian.

Gammoth needs to make a comeback yes she’s mahooosive but with the new gameplay traversal mechanic with the mount she could reasonably make a return if not we can always get a new Heffalump for the savannah area if we don’t have a majorly cold climate area

My favorite monster and the first one that made Monster Hunter really click for me is Nerscylla. My first game was 4 and Nerscylla was that monster whose behavior made me fall in love with the series. Just by playing dead. Haha

i feel like Kecha Wacha or how its called might be in wild maybe 🤔 I personaly hope whe get some more insect large monsters too since rise only had that 1 + their sub species (atleast i think it was a subspecies or rare species 😅) Some other mosnter i think have probably a good chance are Nergigante and Velocedrome

With the amount of time they’re giving the game for development I imagine we’ll have a large roster, I hope they bring back a lot of fan favourites

I want Monoblos, I want Najarala, but more than ANYTHING, GOGMAZIOS-DAMMIT Capcom, give us Lagiacrus back! That's my two cents. And for the record, Hypnocatrice, alongside Lavasioth (and later Espinas), actually appeared in Frontier first, and were pretty much the only unique monsters Frontier had at the time that they appeared in the main series, which made Frontier players mad at the time, leading to Hypno not returning since. It had quite a few variants in Frontier, some of which were pretty drastic increases in power in true Frontier fashion.

My wilds wishlist is pretty massive but if the game had all of these along with some amazing new monsters this could be my favourite game of all time, I've broken them up into a couple categories 1. Gigginox should come back too, it's only appearance was in 3rd gen and unlike Gobul, who is largely reliant on water combat, there's no reason it can't come back, also Nercylla should come back as Temnocerans are a small class of monster and should either get new members or just appear often on general. Also more Amphibians as for some reason Rise only had Tetranodon (with no subspecies either) despite Zamite and Hojo's baby Tetsucabra being in the game too.

I hope they have turf wars and I hope the monsters has fatalities on the other monster when doing a turf war when the monster is low or almost dead

I realise I am very biased towards MH4U, but I’d love Zamtrios, Najarala, Seltas Queen back. They got so much right in 4U. Obviously I’d like Gore and Shaggy back, but they were in Risebreak so I can see why they’d skip a generation. Still want to fight new Shagaru in the Sanctuary though. I also love the old world raptors (and their pack leaders, give me Great Jaggi or give me death), but i realise that bringing back all 8 greats/dromes for one game would not be a particularly popular nor resource efficient plan 😂

Screw all these choices; Malfestio is the number one choice IMO to come back in Wilds. Seriously, its THE most unique monster in series being LITERALLY the only giant bird/owl type monster that I know of and it only appeared in a SINGLE GAME: Generations. Not to mention it has a completely unique status/mechanique in confusion which reverses your controls.

The one monster that I definitely want back is Zamtrios. One of my favorite looking monsters by far.

I hope to the gods they give all the flag ships a break for a generation (expect for gammoth). Im so tried of fighting the same damn fight with a new coat of paint. I fine with them coing back, but not in ever single fucken game. Space them out, intead of the roster in ever mh game be 1/4 flag ships, hogging the spot light I would like to see a lot of returning monster that haven't got the 5th gen treatment yet or monster that are stuck in there original release
