    The title is very misleading. It should be “10 things to consider before moving to NZ” Clearly a clickbait. Just for the views.

    Not to move NZ so you don’t recommend to anyone of your family or relatives too? So why are you still there? Anywhere is not easy to live. These are discouraging points 😳

    Why I wondered, while people are staying and obtaining every benefit from that country and seeing its disadvantages, they are not stopping there and further discouraging other people. As an example, this video mention about high tax system but she doesn't mention the long-term benefit of the taxes. Of course, countries like New Zealand and Australia can't compare with the Indian political system and other infrastructures and facilities. I can't understand why she did not research those disadvantages before settling in New Zealand.

    Hi Suneth, firstly I'm extremely happy in NZ and doing really well here. however I've seen ample of people who would go back because of some of these reasons. However, you could watch my another video reasons to live in New Zealand. That will answer all your questions.

    Your video came up randomly on my you tube and I would like to say that I don’t agree with you except for only one point that’s distance from India but then no body travels to India from overseas on monthly basis. Getting a job is not hard as long as you have done your ground work before coming to New Zealand. You need to have the experience, good communication and confidence to get the right job. You can be highly qualified and get a job easily if you have the skills and experience. You don’t have to start from scratch. Weather in Auckland or most of the parts of north island is quite moderate and good when compared to most of the western countries. You see all four seasons in a year and summers are amazing unlike in extreme climate countries. Even winter isn’t too harsh. If people are not happy in New Zealand they should explore out and then perhaps will know how good it is. One of the best countries to be in during covid situation especially for kids. People who don’t do good ground work before moving overseas will only find flaws and be unhappy. Auckland is number 27 in expensive cities so cost of living is still not that high. Also you need to do your work by yourself in pretty much any western country you move to from India because labour is not as cheap as in India. Every ones journey is different and shouldn’t be made so general. I would have preferred if you would have given pros and cons. No offence meant but like you have a right of freedom to express and allowed comments - I have too expressed my views.

    Aishvarya, it looks like you are repeating what I've said. Video is predominately made for South Asian community. 1) Almost majority of work experience is not accepted here except for those who have worked for MNC or listed company. 2) Working in specific field where major skills are not required you may get job without work experience. 3) Your point of view over climate is predominately compared to Canada or other western countries however video based on target audience. They all come from Tropical weathers that is much more stable. Hence, comparing with even worst country makes no sense. Just compare with place people come from with NZ. 4) Thirdly again you comparing labour with Western country. In fact, I'm again comparing difference from their home country to NZ. However thanks for putting across your views.Its great to communicate.

This very honest experience I think that any tropical weather migrant would have. If you go by this review Australia is also similar no much difference.It's not easy anyways ,initial days can be very disappointing before you settle with job, car and friends

The judicial system and laws in NZ is a absolute joke.. There is a large amt of theft and for children who commits crime below 16 will not punished if they stab they will free There is a lot of racism and bullying in NZ.. There is heavy tax and the cost is very high Climate is bad if you hate winter lot of snow Most of the time you feel lonely the people selfish because they don't interact much Although this country is good for its Beauty Standard of living Freedom Health care facility There are many negative things in NZ which these KZreadrs don't show so think twice if you are coming here..

    "Getting job in NZ is not easy" Lol. Untrue. For a person who came here on work visa directly because NZ didn't have any locals skilled enough for my role, I'd like to squash this 'rumour'. NZ is a very diverse job market with ample opportunities for many occupations. Problem is most Indians try and come here for 'menial' and low paying jobs for which there is no skill required. Drivers, waiting and front desk staff, cleaners etc. NZ has stopped entertaining overseas workers for such positions due to excessive exploitation of the system. If you're one of them (which I'm assuming the video creator is - then its true, NZ is not for you :) ) Apart from this, I also disagree with the statement about the weather being a problem. Of all the countries I've lived in, NZ is easily the best weather all year round that I seen. "You won't get a job straight away with your qualification and expertise as a doctor or an engineer" I can't stress enough how wrong this statement is. Only some trades require a qualifying exam and you dont start at a base level even after that exam. I don't know where this person is getting her facts from. "No maids no helpers" Do you get maids in AU or Canada or US or any Eu country? Any developed nation has minimum wage caps which makes affording maids and personal cleaners unfeasible. So I don't see how your point about not being able to get maids here is again rational. "Not moving here for the winters because NZ is not a neutral weather country" Lol untrue again and as I've mentioned, NZ has the most adjustable weather of all developed countries. "Tax" Lol again. This stands true for any other country. How is this a reason to not move only to NZ?

  • @ruchikadparihar

    @ruchikadparihar

    2 жыл бұрын

    Hi , It looks like you are repeating the same-thing that I have said. 1) I've already mentioned that low paying jobs are easy to get however skilled jobs are bit difficult. 2) You won't get to operate on a patient without having doctor degree recognised here. So again, nothing wrong in stating that. 3) The video is in hindi and mostly giving idea to residents of India and other neighbouring countries, hence I'm talking about servants considering people in Asian countries are very used to having maids. You specifically pointing out developed countries to prove your point, makes no sense. 4) Again with weather, You are specifically comparing to Developed countries, considering the target viewers this video is dedicated too i.e Asian countries, weather is Tropical and much more stable. 5) Lastly Tax, many Asian country residents pay way less tax than residents of developed nation.

    Very good and valuable information. I had been to New Zealand twice to see my sister. What you said is true 100 percent. Now madam pl. include housing is the biggest problem, it is beyond affordability of common public, government also helpless because of wrong policies, no capital gain taxes etc., only helping the real estate promotors, 70 percent of earnings goes for rental of house, even to get house also on rent is very very difficulty. I consider number one reason as housing crisis. I strongly recommend to consider all the above facts before planning to migrate to NZ.
