You’re not in the heart of a city. You’ll be making a city if you move there. Not much wildlife there anymore, and no garbage pick up for months lately. New waste management contract supposed to be starting. I lived there for 12 years and just moved state after finding every natural area I’ve lived in 50 plus years has been developed until there’s no nature left. The manatees are literally starving and our waters are polluted-rather Florida’s waters are polluted. If you live in an HOA, you won’t be allowed to plant for wildlife (our wintering birds, including painted buntings and indigo buntings). The county spraying for mosquitoes also kills lightning bugs, and bugs that feed our (rather, your) wildlife. Until a month ago, I never lived anywhere else. The beach is further yes, but I have so much wildlife here, again. Foxes, snakes, turtles, birds, bob cats, mountain lions. Clean water to swim and fish in. I’m sad for my home’s natural state. Y’all enjoy.

When was the last time you were there? We’re you fortunate enough to see the private contractors with their pick up trucks picking up trash after it had been out for a week or two? Do you remember the native plants and animals we used to have? Those are gone now. Yay! :-/

Great upload!!! Lucie" was first given to this area by the Spanish. The name was given after the Spanish began construction of a fort in 1567 on December 13 - the feast day of the Roman Catholic Saint Lucia.

Love PSL, but it’s weird you mention Jensen Beach. It’s a whole other town altogether. Great video. Brought back all the memories of when I was raising my kids there. We would frequent many of the areas mentioned in your video. Thanks.
