One Thing you miss is , Apple's repair cost is almost 3x the price compared to Android , Example - Both S22 ultra and 13 pro has wireless charging but replacement of back glass in 13 pro costs +20K while S22 only costs arround 5-6K ,you can say 13 pro has Mag safe but common it's just a Magnetic ring

You can't normally replace iPhone's back glass ..you have to replace the whole frame with it. That's the big cost. But Apple is not willing to change their designs becoz of 💲💲💲

@@akakabira Dude by open source he meant, apps installed directly from github or apps from website basically sideloading, not on App store. Most open source devs don't bother with app store or play store for that matter just because of the loops they have to jump to get the app in store and even update it.

Call recording is really important to me. Whenever my Team leader call me regarding some activities need to be done, its like he is rapping. So i miss a lot of things & i can't ask him to repeat what he just said. So i always record his calls, listen to what he said and i get the job done. Call recording is a lifesaver 🤗

Call Recording is actually very useful. It works as an evidence as well. You can expose a lier, fraudster and a blackmailer with the help of Call Recording. A simple and useful feature not given by the So-Called biggest tech company in the world.

The foremost reason I'll be sticking to android is sideloading apps. I use tons of modded apps and idk how will I pay for them if I'm on ios. Always on display, low repair cost and affordable accessory, freedom to use any device and make your own ecosystem in a budget are the reasons which will keep me away from ios. Ofc until I'm financially able enough. In simple words, you can say android is lifeline for the masses.

I need truecaller to work like truecaller. I need call recorder for important calls. I don't want apple to restrict apps that have good intentions in the name of security. Also their notifications are still a mess. I keep missing important notifications everyday.

11. Proper file manager and well organized 12. Multitasking, like splitscreen, popup... 13. Andorid phones doesn't has that outdated notch. 14. Andorid phones in general has better charging. things that i would like Andorid to adopt from apple are their 1. Animations and consistency.. 2. Better videography

What i meant was in just out of the cameras nothing comes close to iphones in videography especially in low light ( the dynamic range, stability, proper exposure) These fundamental cant be replicated no mater what software you are trying to replicate.. Again its videography... When it comes to photography gcam outshines iphones in some scenerios I hate thier yellow tint in human skin tone and yellow color temperature in their photos

But if you want to skip all the image processing android does and do it all by yourself, Androids actually use better camera sensors and hardware, and can give you better image fidelity if you know how to use it.

The people who use iPhone daily are ones who value time mostly business people who want a stable phone , not a phone with a load of features that the user won't need

We keep saying it's a choice, but I think it's time to admit the we are just holding back and patting on their back so that they don't feel missed out. Apple can do a lot of things, but it chooses not to. I don't buy products from companies that refuse to give customers what they really want.

Why I prefer android: 1. More customisable stuff and theming 2. Older phones don't become obsolete so easily unlike iPhone / IOS (im using my Samsung galaxy s10 and it's doing pretty decent and still has support and recent updates as far as I know, my mum uses a Samsung galaxy s7 edge, it's still okayish but Samsung galaxy s10 has better features and more support on it) If anyone else agrees or has anymore pros of owning an Android, reply below!

NO.1 point was absolutely right, if iPhone were the only thing available in India, only around 40% of the whole population of India would have had access to a smartphone or maybe even less. Btw I am using a Redmi Note 7 with Android 12 (Custom ROMs are a lifeline).

iOS is for individuals but android has created more impact on people ...we should not forget that owning a digital device is still a thing in India thanks to android and google (YT) backbone of our educational and digital reach.

One thing you guys forget: There are so many developers who make android apps whether small or big , they even make the modded apps. The amount of developers making ios apps are very less usually the just use the apps which the apple makes but this is not the case in android. I think we can all agree if we have used an android phone we have used a modded app, All thanks to the android developers for thier time and effort.

After shifting from android to ios, I will say Android as a OS is far better than IOS. But iPhones as devices are better than most android flagships

After using both I've found iOS has small little things that are frustrating and they all stem from the tiny 3.5" iPhone 1 that they never fixed. The keyboard doesn't have numbers or punctuation unless you click an additional button, why? Real estate? That hasn't been an issue in years since screens went big. Honestly entering passwords that have Caps, numbers, and special characters takes forever on iOS. Then, now that we have huge screens, why can't I put app icons where I want on iOS? Everyyhing is always upper left to lower right. I can't reach the top using only a thumb on one hand. This also seems to be leftover from when a phone was 3.5", just like iOS apps having they back key in the upper left. Why?? That's not easy access. Android seems to be a modern OS for big phones and iOS seems to be made for 3.5" displays.

I have both android (pixel 4a) and iPhone 11. Of course I love the customization options on my pixel. But trust me. Even after 3 years of heavy usage of my iPhone it still responds like a brand new phone. It never hangs. The updates are not glichy. And it does my daily day to day brilliantly. And no matter how much I miss the customization part, I never have the bloody time to sit down and do it. In my college days I had time to play around with my phone. But now I just want basic things to work fine and Iphones are very reliable in that aspect.

Ok let's agree that iPhones have longer life but you need to look at the price range of Android phones. Most people buy phones in the range of Rs. 10-15K. People can easily use 1 Android phone for 2 years and buy a new one after that. In 6 years I would still spend only 30-45K on a phone.

What about galaxy s series which are now on the same price point(even more actually) but lacks long term support. Or pixel series which has heating issues even with the longer software updates.

These are some of the features which are very small but I use them often - Lockdown No notifications are shown on lockscreen and phone can only be unlocked by pin, pattern or password, bio metric authetication doesn't work. Really helpful while studying cause will only recieve calls and nothing else. - Enable / Disable Heads Up This toggle helps in enabling or disabling heads up notifications which sometimes might be disturbing ( Gaming ). - Caffeine Very useful toggle to prevent phone from sleeping. - App Pinning This will pin the app and can't access notifications or any other apps. Very useful when we hand our phones to kids or others ( Prevents Sneeking )

It has been my long wish to get a Pixel phone for it's superior Android experience and I finally got one last month. Quite few weeks later, i received an iPhone 13 pro too which was never in my thoughts. Now I am confused on which to use as my only phone...

2:35 you can change the notification sounds and vibration patterns of each app in iOS, you can even change it for each group on whatsapp , which is what most people use in india. 3:35 thats is sort of a workaround , you can do that on iOS too with siri shortcuts , bind the power button tap to preffered app and unbind it for siri in settings. 4:15 you can call record on iOS, Siri shortcut volume up double tap or any other gesture to start recording in voice memos. 4:57 Sideloading on iOS is a bit messy , yes. but it isnt non-exsistent. there are websites you can get the profiles for to download apps from safari. i did this emulators. and yes Altstore is a lifesaver, why not talk about it? also jailbreaking exists. things are more organised in iOS jailbreaks. 6:18 it is easy you only set it up one time. 6:51 Siri asks for changing the timer , but hears the response from google assistant which is not relevant to her , thats why she she says "sorry therer's something wrong". Just clarifying what happened here. and how is setting multiple timers related to understanding different accents. Siri is just as good in recognising a lot of accents 7:20 because its expensive and less than 4% of indian population is on iOS, so makes no sense for someone to make a siri home accessory. 7:24 you can do that on Android , but with google lens unlike iOS doing it all on-device. 7:31 HOLD UP WHAT NO , i have the iphone SE 2016 lying around, iOS 16 is only compatible with iPhone 8 and above. 8:04 iPad mini 2 supports iOS 12, which came out in 2018. you can make slacks work by jailbreak tweaks if you want. and yes you can make Netflix work by getting an older version of it. even the 2011 ipad 2 can run netflix with jailbreak tweaks if you jailbreak. 8:33 yes iPhone X was the first OLED iphone , but that released in 2017. again a jailbreak would add always on display but yes it isnt an ideal solution.

first time i bought an iphone was in 2016 when i bought one ( IP7) just out of curiosity. but i wanted 2 sim cards so i switched back to android ( LG v40 +). However i didnt like the experience back to android. it felt so glitchy and apps would always hang and camera was sub par. so after apple released 2 sim options i went back to iphone (11) and its been 3 years and even today not even once ,an app has crashed or had a glitch. i am going to upgrade this year to IP 14 because battery has started to degrade and cant handle my daily routine.one thing is true apple doesnt represent value for money as android devices offer much more for the same price however if u want to use your phone long then iphone is the one to go.

The thing is I'm an android user But still seeing the condition of current amdroid versions now I hate it Even if ios is restricted at least the updates doesn't make camera, motherboard or any hardware useless or making the phone dead sometimes this is a big issue

I’d say even tho both android and iPhone being based around Linux I feel iPhone is closer to that with bsod type design cause Linux generally is way smoother than windows and android feels like windows at times although I’d say android is still overall better than windows

Great video But You said you'll not discuss customisation rooting/unlocking bootloader but then you talked about custom rom and customisation(default apps and notification)

Not only that, the hive mindedness of the iphones makes it a huge security risk as well. Lets say i come across a vulnerability in iphone 13's security and want to exploit it, it would affect all the apple users who are using an iphone 13 or the pro model. Which is a huge chunk of thier audience. Everyone affected all at the same time. The hetrogenity on the android spaces makes it so much more difficult and the attack has to targetted and even if someone does, it won't affect everyone all at the same time.

What you said about Custom ROMs is true. I use a phone which was launched in April 2018, didn't even receive Android 10 from Manufacturer, is now running Android 12 (Pixel Experience with bootloader locked). It also gets monthly updates via OTA within 10 days of every month. Special thanks to those developers who make custom ROMs. Android is the best.

@@_anindith_ I know bro. Android 12 was a major update and hence 3GB phones got outdated. Phones with 4GB or 4GB+ RAM may keep receiving android updates for more years if developer wishes, until another major update. In another words, iPhone from 2015 will not get iOS 16 but android phones of 2017/18 may get updates till 2024 or 25 which is almost close to, sometimes same as the update frequency of Apple. With customisations, freeness that Android brings in, i would say Android is the best.

One of the things that make me jealous of iPhone is the fact they the phones have a lot of external customization options, especially premium grade back covers, where as in Android phone, those options are very limited. I couldn't find a good backcover for my dad's old OP 7T, but the store has bunch of options for iPhone Xr.

Hey, great video. One slight mistake, just like notification channels in android, ios provides the same options to devs to “channelise” their notifications, so yes, you can switch off Zomato’s promotional notifications; The only difference is that you’ll have to do it within app and not from notification panel itself.

I did the opposite and its the best thing i ever done.. everything just works now.. its way faster, smoother, more logic.. it can do everythinf what i can imagine, in iphone i have to watch 20 tutorials how to adjust alarm volume :D ( switched from 13 pro max to s22 Ultra)

Here's a video idea, compare the popular apps on Android vs iPhone. Almost all youtubers miss this, they all compare specs / camera / display etc. But at the end of the day, we use apps on our phones. WhatsApp, telegram, instagram, letterboxd, snapchat, Spotify, twitter etc. Compare how they behave on diff devices. Another video idea, compare stock apps on both platforms. Notes, dialler / contacts, camera, clock, smart home app etc

Let alone MOD if they can integrate a side mounted fringerprint, along with notification led and easily synced multimedia files then I will never shift to Android. Currently using iOS but I missed Androids easy accessible features

For me it is Android+One UI. Reasons: 1. Call Recording without announcement(Most important feature for me). 2. Samsung internet browser for extensions. 3. Dark Mode(Yes it is available now for every android phone but it was first introduced by Samsung as Night Mode in 2019 with One UI 1). 4. Samsung apps like Samsung Internet, Notes, File Manager are very good. 5. And updates are also stable and good.

iOS is frustrating - Wifi, Bluetooth, GPS, Autorotation, Auto brightness, Screen Dim - all these are cumbersome to toggle on a daily basis [actually On and Off not just pause them] - No modularity in volume panel, either silent or ring. A dedicated vibration mode is a solid miss in iOS - transferring files to PC is a hassle - All call history is under phone app, which is confusing to say the least - notification swipe down pauses everything that you are doing, including ongoing video call in pip - dumbest calculator app in the history - restarting phone is unnecessarily complicated if the phone has frozen - app store is slow af - animations are smooth but slow af compared to android -Doesn't do background task, apps have to be open for syncing or downloading (Gdrive, Spotify) in iOS - auto rotation is more accessible in Android 12 - Gboard works better in Android (regional language) - gesture navigation in Android is easier, faster and more accessible - iOS emojis are 🗑 - Power button ends call 🤦🏻‍♂ - certain budget data plans are straight up not available for iOS in specific countries Android is better for a LOT of people and that's a FACT

Are you using iphone with windows laptop ? 😂😂. Because apple's way of thinking is there is only one brand or company in the market and it is apple, so there are no other products in apple world, so if you want a laptop you should buy a Apple laptop. They intentionally doesn't work on other devices to work smoothly with ios.

Please make a video or shorts on how to change default call dialer in OnePlus. By going to default app settings, i can only use google app, coz there is no one plus call dialer. I am a nord 2 user.

There's no debate that iOS is significantly smoother than Android, the apps on iOS, even Google apps are much much nicer with much better transitions. It's an overall nicer looking and feeling OS Android is more for enthusiasts, the ones who likes to tinker. But iOS is smoother, no debates there. Gestures on 5yr old iPhone X is much much smoother than S22 ultra

Google apps being better is a thing of past. However yes the transitions and stuff is a requirement on iOS. However if you used stock Android 12 the most underrated feature of it is the animations it's honestly almost on par with iOS. Almost. Third party apps are yet to implement stuff but it's really great on an os level

Now with 8+ gen 1(andreno 730) Android achieved much more superior GPU than a15 bionic metal. Cpu performance is the section where still ios doing better. But now gap between iOS and Android never been close before. Camera s22 ultra, mi 12s ultra smack any iphones on the planet. Displays I don't need to tell you. Battery life is something iOS should be proud of . Overall Cpu- iOS GPU - Android Camera (photos) - Android Camera (videos)- iOS Display - Android Battery - iOS Freedom - android UI - (REALLY DEPENDED ON PERSON)

Me personally an android user for years shifted to iOS last year..The one thing I find better is that iOS though have less options and features, it makes phone usage less irritable,,Like it does what it does in better , quicker and easier way I feel..If price wasn’t a thing I think lot of the people would have shifted iOS eventually I think..

I switched to Android recently & I'm learning new stuff every day. Used to use them way back then, the times when Sony Xperia was rocking.

I use Android and love it , but I'll switch to iOS soon Main reason - Best for the long run and i like minimalistic features and choices with security more than getting everything It is all up to the user preferences i guess

I never used iOS, but from what I could make out, iOS file system is convoluted. Each app has its own storage and one needs to use a common files folder to transfer files between apps. This is how I understood it. If I'm mistaken, please do share how it works in the comments.

I love iOS because of their unique features which are missing on Android and also 6 years of massive updates and I love Android because we don't need to pay for every app instead we can install a mod app which gives access to those premium features for free (so called jugaad) although I'm an android user from 9 years but I still love an iOS device more as I'm tired of getting glitches and bugs in Android through updates, in androids updates feel like downgrade but in iOS updates are for real more features, fixed bugs and a lot smoother experience
