She just did ten handstands in four minutes. I just want one this year lol
I am actually a 14 y/o calisthenics athlete and the handstand is right now one of my biggest goals. This video is the most helpful ive seen till now thank you so much
I totally forgot to comment but like 2-3 months ago i was too scared of even kicking to a wall handstand. With alot of practice i can hold a 10-15 second freestanding handstand and the consistency is increasing more and more! But that is all thanks to this video, very much appreciated. You have unknowingly become a great gift to my calisthenics journey ❤!!
I busted a hole in my drywall trying this smh
I can't do it no matter what.
Omg for a long time I couldn't find any vids that give you advice for handstanding against the wall and how to kick up couse most videos just show how you get to the wall without even thinking about kicking up much and this explained so much! THANK YOU!
Another Thing I realise that in Tucked version of any skill is easier than full version like tucked front lever is easier than Front lever , tucked headstand is easier than Full head stand but Handstand is only skill whose Tucked version is harder than Full version ....
A lot of people have that fear of falling over due to the fact that they're not used to being inverted that's why hooping on the supporting foot and using the one extended to touch the wall is a good way to practice I demonstrated this in my tutorial as well like you did,but your tutorial is really in-depth great video!
Hello. I’m 10 and I really want to do a handstand. I been scared my entire life that I would get hurt. Can you tell me something that won’t make me scared to do it.
I couldn’t kick my left leg up but this video really really helped and it was my dream to get a handstand and now I am able to do it with the wall I am so happy 😀 thank you so much😊
This was so incredibly useful! For the first time, I was finally able to kick up against the wall, and now I can do it semi-consistently. Now next step is keeping my legs straight and working on getting those legs off the wall to balance. But I cannot thank you enough for these tips! I sent them to friends and family, and now they've all been sending me videos of them attempting handstands haha! Thank you!! :) <3
This video put a smile on my face!! Your energy and smile is beautiful :) I learned that I am too close to the wall!! Thank you!
This is a good one Shana. I see so many tips for beginner handstand telling them, "simple hop to the wall." I'm finding my students having issue with that portion. I'm sure some is upper body strength but I think most of it is fear of being upside down.
Hi Shana. I’m a 6 ft 3 guy and I’ve never done a handstand before (still yet to do one). Like a lot of people I’m always too scared of hurting myself to seriously try, couple that with my height and I have some serious physical and mental obstacles to overcome. I love your tips.
Yesssssss!!!!! Just watched your video and did my FIRST EVER kick up after trying for weeks now! Thank you for the great tips!!!
I deeply appreciate your tips, Shana.
thank you so much I been working on kick up to handstand for years!! your tips are really helpful and the energy when you talked encouraged me!! I made it finally!!
Great tips! I realize I've been making all the mistakes your mentioned 😂 no wonder my handstands are so inconsistent!
Hi, I’m iris and I do ballet. Lately all of my friends have been doing hand stands at the studio. I did not know how to do hand stands. I didn’t know what to do so I searched it up on YT and I found this video. Thank you for helping me learn a hand stand<3
