Don't give up when you're studying for the California real estate exam. That's the most important thing. There's so much to study because the Department of Real Estate created an exam that covers 7 different categories over 150 questions. To study for an exam this big, you have to break your studying up into manageable study sessions. One of the best ways to study is by creating a simple study schedule.
A few hours a day, take time to review one of the categories that will be on the exam. This way, you spend focused time learning the material but also don't burn out. One of the most leading causes of people not studying for the exam is burnout. They get exhausted because they don't know what to study or how to study. That's why we created an easy way for students to stay in control of their studies.

your videos are great and straight to the point, them love!! question, when said 'runs with the land' does that mean when the house is sold the easement is still there?

Correct! Think of it as "comes with the land."
Hi Rico. Question about the easement being canceled or terminated by the dominant tenement (DT). Can you give an example or situation in which this beneficial to the DT? Why would someone give up their right and benefit of using other ppl property? Thanks

@@jessicah6089 Awww good luck on your test! 😍They weren’t as hard as everyone is saying, they just word them differently so it seems like they try to trick you. Definitely study the vocabulary and you’ll honestly do great. Watch these videos on repeat, they helped me so much!! :) Also study the clauses and the different types liens and remember the size of an acre 🥰

How is #4 not allowed? In NY real estate law forbids anyone who's not a licensed real estate agent from collecting a fee from a real estate transaction. But if you have a license you can get paid a referral fee.

Being a referral agent is different from handing out a kickback. Referral agents are able to take a cut of the transaction from referring a client to another agent. Here you have two real estate agents pooling together their resources to help a client. In this scenario, we have a third party (Escrow company) giving a monetary incentive to a real estate agent to use their services. This is a quid-pro-quo setup. The company that is offering money for the recommendation of their services - it's a dishonest business practice because a real estate agent's fiduciary duty is with the client, not another company. You'll get all of the terminology flashcards that you can organize based on the course. You'll also get access to the practice exams, which come with 1,000+ different question variations to make each exam fresh and new. You can retake the exam as many times as you want, which we recommend you take advantage of. Keep in mind a lot of the study material is geared towards the California real estate exam. One other thing, if you enroll in our exam crash course, you'll also get access to the state exam prep. Hope this answered your question and sorry for the long comment!

The only reason I say that is because though our material does cover national content, it won't cover the material that is relevant to VA because ours is geared towards CA. Hi, Indira. The concepts still apply no matter the state, but each state has details about their laws and regulations that will vary. If you're outside of California, then these videos will give you a good idea of how concepts work but the details may be different. Hope this helps!

The concepts are good for any state, however when you get into the nitty gritty laws and specific details, they will most likely change from state to state. Hope this makes sense and thank you for watching!
i have been going through your videos frequently. you provide great knowledge and lesson. i came up with a question. My brother owns a house with my mum jointly. She is 80 years old. while, he add mum because during the time of purchase his credit was not sufficent to efford the loan and my mum was getting social security so he added her and loan got approved . Her greencard expired and goverment stopped her SSI benefits. Now she got citizenship. She is trying to enroll for SSI again but SSI office denied. Office says she has house. the loan got approved because of the SSI . My question is how can i take her out from the ownership of the house, so she can get SSI. I know he don't want to Sell. And refinancing option he don't want to take because he has around 2.78 interest rate. Please HElP
