Amazing help. Weddings is so so personal and have to be captured at the right time. It’s the pinnacle of event photography and this those tips can be applied to anything. It’s being organised and being able to communicate. Never done a wedding (yet) for this reason as it’s so so personal. It just has to be just right and this video has given me the confidence to move forward. Thank you for sharing as this video once again is so suitable for event photography in general but of course weddings. Thank you x

How did it go?

I'm a wedding photographer and you're so right about communicating with the photographer, more specifically talking about positioning during the isle walk and bouquet toss. There's three wedding videographers that I've recommended for the last six years and I get them work once or twice per season from my clients. Tip for videographers is don't stand on the opposite side of the photographer during the isle walk, bouquet toss, and talk about how far in to approach the couple after the fist kiss. The worst thing is to have a videographer who needs 80% of his shots to be captured with a wide angle from 15' away blocking telephoto still shots. Having said all that, I am going to try hybrid shooting next summer, I tried it again for the first time in years with the R5 and it was actually enjoyable. Great video!
