Cotton is a summer material because it collects moisture, wool and rayons keep the body warmer in the winter and wool even if it got wet would still keep body heat

I wear fine wool thermals, top and longs in winter. Wonderful easy wash and dry too.not smelly much much better than any cotton things.

A small, linen silk, silk or small wool scarf looks nice tucked inside a turtleneck against the skin to keep cold air off the neck plus adds a visible pop of color or texture.

Even Aldi this past year in Aus had very nice cashmere lined leather gloves very very cheap, about $14 aud. They were similar to the 140 aud gloves bought elsewhere. I love kid gloves.

The thermal pants are called LONG JOHNS, just like our grandparents wore. Jeans are terrible in cold weather but you can wear these under any long pants or skirt with boots. Thanks for the practical winter style tips.
