He can still be in this list since he only has 1 drama that he did well but soon he will not be in this kind of list anymore as long as he continues to improve.

What the heck? Okay, I'm going to completely sidestep the criticism of Yang Yang, other than to say I LOVED him in Who Rules the World...maybe that role was just particularly suited to him, being a very calculating and reserved character for the most part? BUT -- NO ONE can convince me that Dylan Wang can't act after Love Between Fairy and Devil! The scenes where he and Orchid switched bodies were comedy GOLD and he perfectly embodied this frilly little fairy girl for those scenes, which were a fantastic contrast to when he was the domineering Moon Lord Supreme the rest of the time (to 100% PERFECTION). No, just remove Dylan from this list, because you are WRONG.

I agree. Yang Yang was great in Who Rules The World. He wasn't wooden at all. I know everyone made fun of the straight posture but hey, LuSi matched his to make them look great as wuxia #1 power couple, ha. Dylan Wang was very good in LBFAD, much improved from that Dragon drama.

DYLAN WANG?!! are you serious?? 🤔 Firstly for YANG YANG, several of his dramas that I watched, he has good acting skills, his facial expressions and the way he speaks in acting are not boring, many of his dramas are famous, how can he be said to have bad acting talent? 😔 Second for DYLAN, from his first drama, Meteor Garden 2018, to be honest, it was the first Chinese drama I watched. I'm the type who doesn't really like actors or actresses If their acting feels boring and doesn't suit the character they're playing. BUT, DYLAN PLAYED THE CHARACTER OF DAO MING SI PERFECTLY! I was surprised because it was his first drama and he had already mastered some of the acting skills that his seniors had. the second drama is ever night, let's put aside the storyline for this drama, let's look at his acting, it is his second drama and also his first action drama. I saw behind the scenes of this drama and I saw how totally he played this character. When the drama came out I didn't really like the plot of the drama but for the action skills that Dylan has I have to admit that it was very good. For those who watch this video, please don't swallow it raw. You have to watch their drama first then you can think according to what you feel. 🥰🥰 for the argument in this video I REJECT YANG YANG AND DYLAN'S PART, THANK YOU 🤝❤

This is beyond ridiculous! Dylan Wang's portrayal of Dongfang Qingcang was so phenomenal that it has become a yardstick by which similarly memorable portrayals of characters in succeeding blockbusters have been compared, such as Tan Jian Ci's portrayal of Xiang Liu in Lost You Forever. Perhaps Chinese Starlet thinks actors should overact or wear their hearts on their sleeves or provide slapstick comedy, all of which would have ruined the elegant and nuanced acting that has made Dylan Wang's portrayal of his characters classic. Who can forget the way Dongfang Qingcang played Orchid? The way he talked or held his skirts? The way he impatiently flicked a tear or two from his eyes? It was all done naturally, none of the overacting effeminate gestures that less skillful actors do to elicit laughter. But to viewers who prefer nuanced acting to overacting, it was much, much more effective and captivating. In case you don't know what nuanced acting is, here's a definition from Google: "Nuanced is an adjective that means complex, subtle, or delicate in nature. It is often used to describe something that has multiple layers of meaning or that requires careful consideration or analysis to fully understand." That is how good Dylan is.

i agree about his nuanced acting. He avoids overacting or unnatural acting. He has a good feel for what kind of acting works in particular scenes. I watched a behind-the-scene clip of him and a co-star where he advised his co-star not to act cutesy in a scene. When I watched the scene in the drama, he was right, being cutesy in that solemn scene would have been inappropriate. But he acted cute in some scenes in The Rational Life and they worked, very appropriate, not cheesy at all.

I really enjoyed Dylan Wang's acting skills in Love between fairy and Demon. Sure, he was a demon, he was in his comfort zone, but he also interpreted the female character and it was so good. People can improve. About Yang yang I completely agree that the he always plays the same characters. The good-looking, arrogant boy. Always the smarter and better than anyone else, but maybe he should just choose better the roles he plays. Also, people shouldn't criticize the hair or amount of make up. They are not the ones to blame on this matter.

Came here to say exactly that about Dylan Wang. You could tell exactly when he was pretending to be Orchid and when he was Qingcang in that show. He knows how to act, I think he often just gets type cast as the bad boy and that doesn't leave him much room to exhibit his actual skills. And I adore Yang Yang, he is another one that gets type cast a lot.

I find Shen Yue as very natural actress.. This actress act naturally.. I like Her❤

I feel people who are making up these list are people who don’t care for these actors. I live in the US, and watched all of these actors on their respective dramas. I feel all of them do amazingly well. Every actor sometime in their career step into a role that just isn’t fit for them, in which turn leads to fans giving them negative reviews. Keep up the great acting actors, you’re doing great. ❤️🇺🇸

You know, I think you got it right: an actor’s performance is up to the director. Especially considering that directors are the ones that pick the cast. I am a Conceptual photographer, and I pick my models depending on how they look yes (shaved head vs long hair, for example), but also on the way they move and how they can express my ideas. A dancer moves way differently than a high fashion or runaway model. So, yes, I think you are 100% correct! 🌹😊

Exactly how was it her fault that the writhers wrote that epilog?! The person in the vid even said that her ACTING was GOOD but that the long monologue was bad which is literally the only thing she can’t change😑 I also don’t agree with many other actors in this list who this person thought where “bad at acting” but the worst judgment where definitely on Shen Yue. At this point it just feels like they needed on more person in the end to make it ten and then just proceeded to throw in a random actor/actress.

don't misunderstand this video. what's trying to say is not actually bad for the actors you love.. their observations must be given proper attention. it's a pity that the criticism they gave were the same as mine. you guys don't be upset. i get their point. i also like yang yang and wang hedi. while it is true, dylan wangs acting is almost the same as his acting during his first series... he indeed lacks the necessary emotions from Meteor Garden to Love between fairy and devil... and i noticed that too. same with yang yang... they need to improved their acting skills in order to mature as an actor. their monotonous expressions can always be seen on their respective movies or series repeatedly. anyways, maybe that's the reason wang hedi improved his acting a lot in his recent series Only for Love... you can really see love, happiness and excitement in his eyes... not just his face everytime shi yan (wang hedi) will look at sheng shu yi (bailu)... watch it and you will love his new acting style his more adorable now than before 😁💖💖💖

Everyone thinks it’s just an attack on their favorite actors and I’m not saying they are bad actors but I wish they acted in different roles aside from the typical bad boy image. But I mean I get it at the same time. It sells. But if they were to take on different roles I think it would show netizens that they are more than just pretty faces! Once again. Shen yue is very much fine with her acting. I watched that crying moment when she realized her mother is really gone (the way she acted was normal) only those people hated her will say she’s not good. I don’t actually give a comment if they’re not good in acting I just totally don’t watch the movie or show or not finished the show if not satisfied with any actors acting too many of those bad actors actually.

Saying that an actor or actress can't act isn't constructive at all. It's just hating. Firstly, we may not all like the way someone portrays certain expressions or emotions, but it's a personal preference thing. Maybe focus on what you would like to see from an actor or actress in order for you to enjoy their acting vs just tearing them down with negativity.

Well, lets be real. Some of them being actors (casted in drama) because their popularity, being 'the most talk about figure' at the moment. Either because they popular in a talent show, popular idol, have a popular husband or just being good looking. Not like they graduated from acting school, built up their career from young age or from small character in drama. They're not necessary bad, the acting skill can be improve along with their experiences in the field. But, maybe acting is not for everyone. It's an art of pretending that need the soul power so it can reach the audiences. So, I think it might be harsh to say that they can't act, but critics exist for a reason. It's not just blindly hating on people, well some people might do but anyways.. More so when there's plenty of comparisons for them.

The reality is that most of them aren't Real actors. They are just idols wanna be actors. They have no proper education in this sense, they didn't attend any acting school or long term classes. And at the end of the day you also need to have some innate skills for this job. That's why some people are renowned legendary actors known for their heavy roles and acting skills in portraying complicated characters and some are some pretty faces on the screen. I don't take most of the Idols actors seriously myself, even if I have seen many Chinese and Korean dramas with idols.

i think dylan is good. he can act and he's good looking. but yang yang although he's good looking. but he's too greasy. netizens dont like watching greasy scenes or characters. but yang yang made his character too greasy. in his recent drama about firefighter. he was too greasy. he made certain moves he thinks will make him look handsome. and his character portrayal was so bad. he made his character rude and annoying and try to seem masculine but he doesn't understand his character and the role of a firefighter. It was said his previous dramas weren't greasy was mainly because of his agent. His agent will stop his attempts to act greasy. but this recent drama, there was no longer the agent, so he let loose and acted greasy. previously in the drama you're my glory, he co-starred with Dilireba. And there was a behind the scene of him saying to cut these dialogues and directly let him hug her, (i dont remember what he actually said. but it should be along those lines). but this was quickly shut down because the agent walked in after. Anyways he's narcissistic. And he has very shallow views of his character portrayal. when asked about his character, he says something about the most basic things. he doesnt have an indepth knowledge of his character or the occupation he's acting.

You obviously don't watch enough of DiDi to realize that he is a phenomenal actor who has grown and continues to grow and learn and hone his skills. He does his own stunts,and don't even get me started on his face and the massive amount talent stored in his emoting. (facial expressions) I love Wang He Di!

Zhao Lusi is very beautiful but for me her beauty and childlike sweet innocence is getting old! Time for her to grow up! Sweet and pretty is not necessarily good acting! ❤.

Actually I have watched her in several roles and loved her in all. She is beautiful therefore easy to like but I am beginning to notice a pattern with her. sweet, pretty,pure,innocent, fiesty. childlike, shocked when kissed. This leads me to believe she is either typecast or unable to play a mature adult woman yet

I take it that you have not either seen or read the reviews on Love Between Fairy and Devil (LBFAD) or you would not say that about Dylan Wang. You cited old reviews from his younger days as though they were still valid. In LBFAD he acted 1000 different ways, brought so much authentic emotion to the role, and was highly praised for his outstanding acting skills. He is fantastic and getting better all the time.

I totally disagree with you (the video) in the case of Yang Yang, for me he's not only a handsome man but a gifted one. He's good at acting, singing, dancing, etc. When an actor plays a role, he or she is just following the Director Commands and the script of the drama.

I’m not impressed with this list. Everyone has actors they don’t like but this feels more like just blindly following a list. Dylan Wang shouldn’t be in there especially getting hit for love bewteen fairy and devil where his character’s father murdered his emotional tree or root until orchid heals it. How exactly are you going to play a character that hasn’t had emotions since he was a child? I think he did a great job portraying that and when he plays characters that are supposed to 10,000 years or more who is going to be convinced that his character is as old if his voice sounds young? He did a great job when he had to play as orchid in the moon supremes body. He also did a fabulous job in meteor garden pretending to be the girl when they are teaching his character how to make sure Shancai wants to go on on their date with him. I liked him in miss the dragon and the other dramas I’ve seen him in. In his earlier dramas he does seem nervous but who wouldn’t be sometimes I don’t think it’s very easy to keep your own emotions out of a character

I agree that Wang He Di's acting was not good before love between fairy and devil. But his acting skill improved a lot in love between fairy and devil. Among his previous works before love between fairy and devil, the rational life is really good. Most of the the people didn't know this drama cuz meteor garden is more popular . In rational life, you can see totally different side of wang he di's acting. His career will be limited? What? His current work Guardian of Dafeng will be the great hit in future.

AND he is only 25. The people who judge online probably never take a person's age and how long they have been acting either it seems. He played a High Immortal snake God, never experiencing emotions before in Miss the Dragon. Won't have that many emotions until later in the series anyway. Same as a unfeeling Devil.

Dylan Wang is a good actor. Yang Yang is terrible though. I had to drop dramas with him in it because of his weird timing and facial expressions that seemed lazy or un natural for the character

I completely disagree with you, especially when it comes to Wang Hedi. Aside from being cute, his face tells a thousand stories, one of the best actors I've seen lately (considering he's so young). By chance I watched the love between the fairy and the devil, and subsequently deliberately took to watch everything he recorded (I was not disappointed, he was masterful) Perfection in acting, and I can say this because I attended the academy and I know what it is necessary to know and have in yourself to raise the acting to a higher level as he does.

I do think his acting leaves something to be desired in Miss the Dragon, at least the parts of it that I've seen. But he's more than redeemed himself with LBFAD (which is what I watched first). He was just soooo good in that.

PEOPLE PLEASE! For the record, let me start by saying that, I love watching Yang Yang, Dylan Wang, & Wang Mi and Yang Chao Yue and Yang Chao Yue are starting to growing on me. I have to admit that I don't know some of the actors on this list but for the ones I do know, I have to strongly disagree with this video. Firstly, you can't criticize what they are wearing, their headdress, what they do, or some of their expressions because they do what they are directed to do when they are directed to do so. If you have to blame anyone, blame the writers & directors. Even if someone dies in a scene, you can't just start crying because you think you should. You have to cry when the director wants you to and where it's written in the script to so so. As actors, they have to follow a script and a director. I know that everyone is entitled to their opinions but you have to remember that although there are some really bad actors, some of what they do and how they do what they do, isn't up to them. I am sure that they also don't agree with some the scenes or the lines they have to say but they have a job to do. So, unless they are given free licenses to adlib, they have to do what they are paid to do.

I agree with you that proper direction is important, but it's an actors job to bring a character to life. If the actor portrays all the characters in the exact same ways then there's a problem with the acting.

I agree with the majority of call outs save for Wang He Di. He has become more confident and relaxed as time went on. I am looking forward to his upcoming dramas.

There's are a few that think their looks is all they need. But not Wang. He doesn't belong here... When they play a role of a Lord, they're not suppose to smile. That's part of their character.

Dylan Wang in LBFAD, Yang Yang in WRTW, Ju Jing Yi in The Legend of Yunxi, Yang Mi in Ten Miles of Peach Blossoms and Chen Yuqi in Ashes Of Love and A Tale of Twin Cities did great. And I know how it's hard to act. I also hope for CDramas to stop using filters because it should be natural like Circle of Love and can affect their facial expressions.

He doesn't have a firefighter body AT ALL, he couldn't even be bothered to try and muscle up a bit, he looked so frail compared to his co-actors. He was in the military and was a dancer so he should be able to work out for a role.

I haven't seen all these actors, but I have to agree about Yang Mi. I enjoy a lot of her dramas, but I'm rarely satisfied by how she acts in them. Sometimes she does a good job, but it depends on the role. In TMOPB the role suited her, especially later on when she's supposed to be somewhat indifferent as an ancient goddess. Even then, there were times when she was too wooden, especially when she's acting with Mark Chao, who is a fantastic actor. Unfortunately she can't portray emotions naturally and her eyes come across as almost blank. In Storm Eye, she's practically a robot.

She was good in Legend of Fuyao and TMOPB. I heard criticism of her acting in She and Her Perfect Husband/ Boyfriend*. They used her real voice in Novoland Pearl Eclipse and I was shocked at first; but I do not want to criticize her voice because it's her God given voice after all.😂

Why the hell is Wang Hedi on this list? Maybe you don't know his latest work and how he was recognized after LBFD. He not only won recognition from fans, but numerous awards for his performance. In addition to LBFD, his performance in Unchained Love and Look Up and See Joy were also excellent. It's easy to speak badly about such famous actors, it's difficult to watch their work carefully and speak with authority on the subject, something you don't seem to have.

@@clairelu606 Miss The Dragon had terrible script plus a director who could not even synchronize special effects with Dylan's actions. It was a low-budget gob that rookies like Dylan who have no powerful backers in Chinese entertainment industry were likely to stumble into. But that was made years ago. Surely you don't expect actors to stay at the same level? Since MTD, Dylan has displayed his acting prowess in The Rational Life, Love Between Fairy and Devil and Unchained Love. Even his other early dramas like Meteor Garden, Never Give Up and Youth in the Flames of War showcase his talent better than MTD. Don't judge Dylan's acting with MTD.

@@chuqiao777 I have seen both chang lan jue and miss the dragon so I can definitely see his improvement however miss the dragon and chang lan jue is close to 1 year with improvements on acting is not able to completely clean his reputation on what everyone thought was miss the dragon so his success is not by itself acting but story, character writing, visuals, cgi effects, and makeup. I haven't watch most of his dramas so I don't want to comment too much on his acting but an actor should still be able to hold on to an character even without too brilliant of a story or visuals. so I can't say he's bad but I wouldn't say he's too good. I never hated wang he di or even Chang lan jue (I was really crying still recovering from some scenes)so if you disagree with me its okay love what you love I'm not gonna change that.

I would like to see which veteran actor would be able to tackle that role without looking as inept as the rookie that Dylan was when he took on that role. The director could not even even make sure that Dylan's movements were in-synch with the cgi, making Dylan look awkward. But to Dylan's credit, he did not blame the writer and director when he was bashed by netizens for his performance in MTD. He immediately apologized and promised to improve. And he did! Have you watched The Rational Life? He was brilliant as a normal office worker getting his start in life. How about Unchained Love? He was also brilliant as a eunuch trying to investigate his brother's death. How about Youth In the Flames of War? In fact he was brilliant in all his roles except Miss The Dragon. Anyway, Dylan has properly absolved himself. He just won the Best Young Actor in a Drama Series at the 9th Wenrong Awards ceremony at Hengdian Film and TV Festival a day ago, Oct 27.

I found out that unflattering comments about Luo Yunxi were being deleted except those that probably have already been liked before Chinese Starlet got to them. So, Chinese Starlet must be a fan or a paid service of Luo Yunxi. Hey, Chinese Starlet, your idol seems cool, so he would likely not approve of what you're doing. You're making it appear that putting other actors down is the only way he can go up. That his talent and looks are not enough to push him up. Some of those who are condoning this video even brought up free speech, yet rebuttals are being deleted! Where's the free speech? Some comments also excused this defamation by pointing out that this video is subjective. Hello, that's precisely why it's inappropriate. It's not based on facts. Well, beauty is also subjective, I should create a video about the WORST looking cdrama actors and include someone's idol. Oh, how about the shortest cdrama actors or the most skeleton-looking actors? These would be based on facts since height and weight can be objectively measured. Dylan Wang? NOOOOO! 😭 It's the intensity of his stare that sends shivers down my spine, yet starts a fire 🔥 in my belly! I'm left breathless when I see that intense stare. As an actor, he is responding to his the character is written, how the producer sees the character and how the director orders him to respond to direction. They obviously like his intense stare and choose him for his ability to carry that off. Don't blame the actor for following directions.

Dylans acting range is limited...as long as he remains in the cold, aloof, narcissistic cool boyfriend type...he will be ok....but his voice in dramas😅....he have a lot of work and improvement to do.....worse how China is cracking down on the whole all voice dubbing thing. In LBFAD....its the voice actor really that made him sound so intriguingly badass....not saying he cant act but so much more improvement is needed....or else he will eventually be drowned out in the endless competition in Cdramaland....

Huang zi Tao is a superb singer and actor. I saw his movie Negotiator. He is a talented actor in every way. The media can criticize him but it does not affect his popularity. He is a billionaire and a great singer.

I haven’t seen her in LBFAD but she played the main role in my journey to you really good and showed that she truly is a good actress. The emotions she delivered was truly spectacular and the chemistry she shared with the ml was amazing. As I previously mentioned I haven’t watched LBFAD but if she is equally good there as in My journey to you then I totally disagree with you about her acting skills. And not because it has anything to do with her acting but she is truly one of the most beautiful Chinese actresses in industry. So what you said about her not being “attractive” is bullshit and we both know that, if you have eyes and can see clearly.

Awesome analysis of the creator of this video. So, Chinese Starlet is a ZZH fan? I suppose Dylan Wang fans should be flattered that a fan of 32-year-old ZZH is feeling so envious or threatened by 24 year-old Dylan as to unfairly subject the poor young man to a slanderous beating. It's rather funny, using CNetz as source of information since it's a well-known fact that Chinese social media is overflowing with YXH's, i.e. trolls who get paid to post negative and hateful comments about celebrities

That’s one of the reasons I couldn’t get into Meteor Garden (a bigger reason being that I couldn’t stand the female lead). It’s unfair to call him a poor actor after his LBFAD performance and this video was clearly referring to LBFAD given the thumbnail

I strongly disagree with this, if you don't like the actor just don't watch them why bother saying such harsh words, I also have a few actor I don't like while everyone else seems to admire them and I don't mind , you do you and I do me, everyone is different please respect their perspective. Also all actor has their own way of acting, that attracts different audience, I believe they are trying to improve to become everyone desire actor, but we know it's not possible cuz no one is perfect, acting is no easy job, before going around and criticize others try acting on your own in front of a mirror and see if you're any better then them. I'm not saying you can't criticize them but not this way, perhaps try to make them aware of their lacking and encouraging them to continue on improving, just stop being so toxic.
