Thanks for this interesting and informative video.A real time saving tool for making notches into drywall, plastic, wood and even metal is the oscillating tool. This tool can make plumbing repairs so much more enjoyable.
We have used the outside cleaning brush in a drill for many years! Another handy tip for fittings is to cut the handle off the cleaning brush and put it in the drill. This will really speed up copper fitting cleaning! Happy Plumbing!

Just take a regular outside cleaning brush drill a hole in the center, put a flat head bolt in there and a nut and you're ready to go. Just stick it in the drill.

lostintime86 you can use a car battery post cleaner that has a cap for the terminal cleaner side. Take the wire bristles off the terminal side of it and you’re all set

Oyyy mate, always glad to see a scotty, thx for the great comment ;)
the little butane torch is nice. But for home gamers, I prefer the larger butane torch you'll find at cooking stores for creme brulee. It's cheap, the flame is much hotter and gas can is bigger.

@@Got2Learn ones like this are bigger. kovea.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/KT-2211-00.jpg You buy the torch head separately from cans of butane. It's a breeze to solder with, but not the best for tight spaces.

I contacted General Pipe, and YES, they do still make the 1/2" and 3/4 " ratchet handles for the AutoCut, but they do not sell direct to consumers. They suggested I buy them from The Cable Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Their number there is 800.257.7209 or 314.993.3099
Where can I buy the wrench you used on #3, the AutoCutter? Thanks!

I don’t know if you have ever worked with wirsbo and expander tools to do water lines cause it’s way faster than crimp rings at least in my experience as plumber that’s all I use . If you haven’t worked with it I highly recommend to any plumber.

Can you recommend a tool you can make a 90° flush cut with pvc drain pipe. Seems like when I use a sawzall or a hacksaw it always comes out uneven so therefore doesn’t seat properly at the fitting stop. Also a tool to chamfer the ends after you cut them. Excellent videos by the way!!
