Today I'm following with v. 1.4.16 , I would say half of the content is still the same. I mean for the shortcuts. But for the idea, it's still nice. I try to catch what I can usefull, as Im discovering Plasticity :)

Some of these videos are from 1.0 and 1.1 days, but are still Relevant. Some keyboard shortcuts changed like subdivide curves went to shift s and so on. I try to notate the titles on the playlist what version number a feature came out so people realize if their version is out of date and needs to be updated. I might do a quick start guide going over the basics again when 2.0 comes out, we'll see what time I have.

is Alt + 1 Same as Subdivide (Shift + S) ?

I can't figure out. Did they changed the keyboard shortcuts? I am trying to replicate what's in the tutorial, but I can't duplicate via Shift+D. Just doesn't work. Some other commands and tools work different way too...

Shift D should still Duplicate. I know I gotta go back to couple Videos and change keyboard shortcuts for them like subdividing curves is Shift S now

Oh okay, never would have thought of that. I'll have to remember that if it comes up with someone else. Without keyboard shortcuts in Plasticity it would be painful lol.

I am using Plasticity 1.2.18. After drawing a plane, I drew another rectangle on the same plane(coplanar). Then I can select the inner rectangle and extrude the selected Rectangular plane inward, I don't get to see this "pink colored indent" showing the digging-in effect when I extrude the plane inward that you show from 4:14. Sometimes it doesn't realize which body you want to go through. If it does that before you confirm the command tap w for difference and select solid you want to go through. Look on lower right of screen to see options for most of the commands.

I'm used to MOI, but it's workflow with planes is awkward. This is much simpler and faster. Unfortunately, no chamfer on 2d atm :)

@@Glenn3D1993 so am i crazy or did there used to be interactive gizmo's that allowed you to control filets on the contstruction planes?

Unaware of a Gizmo for it, one similar to illustrator would be nice. For now just hit B on a point or line to execute a fillet command.
