Smith & Wesson pistols have proven themselves to be very good and reliable. Their revolvers are top notch and their pistols , in my opinion, are just as good as Glocks.

Shield Plus. 2+ years on, with multiple significant training evolutions, 3000+ rounds without failure, and I carry it every day. I think I will keep carrying it.

I was gonna say S&W huh, I own 3 firearms from that company and they have not let me down yet. My AR10 had a problem from the factory with the gas block and I found out that it was common with the particular Sport 2 chassis. But I fixed that easy ass fix and it's never had an issue since. I DEFINITELY stand by S&W. Hopefully most people who see the thumbnail watch the whole video.

I believe you. This is the first video I've ever seen that claims the M&P is "unreliable." I currently use a H&K USP which has never failed me but I would trust the M&P if I lost my main handgun and had to pick another very quickly. Source: so many owners who posted online videos say that they have had almost no issues with it. One reason I got an H&K over a Colt other than the staggering price difference was the brand's reputation for reliability.

I have a Taurus 357 8 shot model 608. Have had it for at least 5 years or more. Never had any of the problems this program said it had. It's one of my better shooting guns.

I'm sorry you got a "lemon" CR920. It is my everyday carry. I've put over 1,200 rounds of various ammo through it and, except for a couple FTFs in the first 100, it functions reliably and accurately.

@@edwinsane3769 The model that they were criticizing in the video was the first iteration of the 920 that had a particular configuration on the barrel near the breach end. They changed the design and actually replaced the older ones for people who had bought them. If you got a recent version, it should be fine. I believe that all pistols can be finicky about ammo. Every pistol I own has had FTFs at one time or another. That includes CZ, S&W, Glock, and Taurus. Find the cartridges that your gun likes and is most accurate with and it will be fine.

out of every gun i own, shadow systems has been the best manufacturer to work with customer service wise. i had a problem with a loose rear sight. seeing as there press fit, they paid for shipping and replaced the slid just for the rear sight. no questions asked. hands down the best!

My Hi-Point never failed me in almost 2000 rounds

You show the man from USCCA with the sccy cpx2. He had to literally drop the gun in a bucket of mud and water with the slide open. To get the gun to fail. Then took the slide off poured a bottle of water over it. Put it back together and it worked fine. The cpx2 has issues with a lip at the feed of the magazine. Which will dig into the cartridge causing a jam. An easy fix file the lip off. And the pins could start to work themselves out at 500 rounds. Sccy has a forever warranty on all their guns.

I gotta say that the S&W CSX I bought new in 7/2022 runs flawlessly. I'm close to 2000 rounds. The only con I had is its hard to seat a loaded mag with the slide closed so I carry it with the 12 round mag as 11+1. I use a Vedder pocket holster btw and it's an easy carry piece.

I had the Taurus tracker 627 and I think it's a great Revolver. Manufactured in 2019 7 shot and never fails me after hundreds of rounds😊

I agree with the Shadow systems CR920. I had multiple failures to feed. I think it was the magazine design at the time. Maybe in a few years they can work the kinks out, but not yet.

NOTE: My GX4 is not part of the recall. I bought my GX4 for my NEW EDC in June 2021 and have had 0, No, issues to this date and have run over 2900 rounds. Wasn't looking for a firearm that was Optics ready or had a 'rail'. I wanted a small 9mm that would be the best for self defense, concealment, yet have quality and be dependable. I wasn't going to be in any shooting competition with the GX4 as I have other firearms for that. Purchased the GX4 at my local Scheels and got the last one in stock at that time - 329.00. Received the pinky extensions (2) for the two 11 rd mags that were included and that completed the grip for me....good to go with my pinky on board. Of course my 13 rd mag comes with the extension. That's all I needed to do to get the GX4 the way I wanted it on my hip...or wherever I carry it. Recently upgraded to the Tru-Glow sights which is a great add-on over the factory sights. Added the Hogue HandALL Beavertail Grip Sleeve specifically for the GX4 and GX4XL. Do some have issues, sure they do. Did some Shield Plus have issues? Did the Sig P365 have any issues? Did the Glock 42 or 43 have issues? It’s a big yes to all.

I own the original GX4 and the Toro and the Carry versions! I have put 500 to 1000 rounds through them and they always shoot no matter what the grain age or the manufacturer! I never drop any of my firearms because they all have the potential of going off if loaded and dropped! They are a dependable firearm! I will continue to carry mine!

What a crock of crap. The Sig P320 has had numerous problem of it firing if dropped. My Glock 21SF, S&W Shield and MP 1.0 have never had one jam with close to 1000 rounds shot through each. All are reliable, accurate and safe.

Wont stop packing my 1960s vintage hipower. In has never failed to function since I got it in my senior year at highschool. 1973. The only thing I have replaced is the barrel 20 years ago. Brought the accuracy back.

I have fired the Smith and Wesson CSX and found it completely reliable and I can shoot it quite well. The trigger is not as good as a typical 1911, but not awful. Sorry you had a bad experience

The CR920's issues have been fixed. They changed the external barrel dimensions so it didn't drag and bind.

The GX4 has been reliable , have shot one for countless rounds and ZERO issues . Sig had a worse case with the P365 with early models, and that is one that I have too. Have Both, and are not early models , that is the difference . Read, study, learn, choose wisely.

@@johnschofield9496 I understood what he was mentioning because I had one. They’re probably alright if you don’t plan on defending yourself with it. I got the one I had for 185.00 that included free shipping and a nylon pistol bag. What a disaster for a not too bad looking pistol. The magazines are almost identical to the Smith & Wesson M&P except the mag release hole on the Tara mags are different and the gun has a plastic guide rod.

The RP9 looks like a big Raven 25 with some cuts to make it look fancy.

i love my g3 but the g4 i was so happy about it but its just not as good and it jams a lot with soft fire

the taurus gx4 also has problems with the slide catch, which makes the slide goes forward without touching it.

when I carry I use my tride and true 1911. and did anybody else notice how it says 10 pistols you should never trust but yet there was only 8 on the list?

I've seen it but haven't seen it shot ... the handguns even the yeet cannon I've personally fired and the trigger was shit and I had miss feeds , stove pipes .. now I know hi point is trying to make there handguns better and more appealing... my opinion is mine alone .. if you like it then so be it... at least you have something to protect yourself and your family.

I have all kinds of different makes of weapons. That includes the big bulky. Hi point. I love my Hi Point, it's very accurate. Shoots every type of ammo without misdeeds or light strikes or any malfunctions. They also have a lifetime guarantee. It doesn't matter if you're the first owner or the hundredth owner

"You get what you pay for" - applies to guns as well. Back in the day, the "cheapo" guns were called "Saturday Night Specials" - because they were used after drunken parties to settle arguments, usually in the ghetto section of town. THAT BEING SAID - our experience with Taurus and Bersa handguns has been 100% GOOD - no problems, good workmanship, and reliable. These guns are made in Brazil & Argentina, so many "Made in America" devotees automatically disdain them. TOO BAD !

Placing the Taurus GX4 on the list after extolling its virtues, simply because of a recall that didnt even affect the entire line, is lazy. It was a slim serial number range, and isnt an issue outside of that range. Out of the 8 I have had in my shop, only 2 were affected by the recall, and Taurus immediately emailed us shipping labels to return the weapons for free repair. They were informed of an issue, discovered the cause, then addressed it without hesitation. I own one myself that is sitting around 1000 rounds with zero malfunctions with a broad range of ammunition. The fact you recommended a finnicky Hi-Point as an alternative to another unreliable gun should have been the biggest joke.

The csx is very reliable. For someone who isn’t controlling the trigger appropriately would be the only concern of the “false reset”. In any normal shooting experience and high pressure scenario, you wouldn’t be able to”staging the trigger” anyway. This model should not be on this list at all

Remington made a great pistol in the 1920s. Their M51 (.32 & .380). It was so good and so popular that Colt approached Remington and paid the board of directors over $100,000 in return for their agreeing to discontinue it, which they did. There was also a .45acp version that the USN found superior to the 1911, but in the 1920s the US had so many left over 1911s in inventory the Navy purchase request was denied by the Ordnance Board. When Remington announced a modern version of the M51 in caliber 9x19mm called the R51 a lot of folk were ecstatic and expecting a great pistol. Sadly it proved to be extreme disappointment. The design changes and manufacturing short cuts Remington had introduced doomed the gun. Remington did a recall and introduced a supposedly fixed version, it wasn't. A KZread search will find dozens of videos of their R51 gun malfunctioning in use. Of course one will also find videos by gun dealers stuck with a dozen or more of them claiming they work well, but as a general rule of thumb, no they don't, not at all. Add in a complicated take down process, plastic parts that wear in the trigger group.and continued deterioration with use and it quickly became one of the least popular guns of the early 21st Century best used as a fishing weight. Their RP9 was their attempt to recover from the earlier fiasco. It too failed almost as badly and soon after Remington filed for bankruptcy,

@@GrayD1ce One of my tests for a pistol being acceptable is will it fire as fast as I can an entire magazine without a jam? R51 didn;t even come close to that. bang click. Stage 2 is repeat the test with 3 different bullet shapes in the magazine. LoL, couldn't even get the R51 to fire 2 rounds of anything without a jam. Eventually it just stopped firing completely, which is when I sold mine. Most unreliable pistol I had ever owned.

You need to back up on the GX4!! First of all, the whole time you were bashing you are showing a picture of a GX4 Carry. I have one on order and it has the best reviews of any handgun I've seen in the price class. Second, the Micro GX4 received that bulletin more than two years ago. The issues have been fixed, so slow yo roll!!

Yup. Hi Point 45s have been bullet proof for years, just watch some of the videos on YT. Big, heavy, clunky....yes. But very reliable and comes with a lifetime warranty.

Says someone who has done zero research on Hi-Point. I have a CF380, never failed to fire anything put in it, look up some torture tests on it. Also have C9, same, never failed to fire.

Anyone who recommends a cp9 from hi-point as a better more reliable option has no business making videos about firearms. I’ve had two explode in my hand with less than 100 rounds in each.

The first version of the Remington R51 was a disaster. It might have been because of the poor design of the magazines. They came out with a second version and it's my carry pistol. The second generation has the "R51" over the engraving. That is the one you're showing in the video so you're completely wrong.

The Sig P210 is one of the best shooting guns of all time. I havent had any issues wity mine. Hopefully this channel gets shit down for these outright lies
