@@chomin3025 Might be the dumbest thing i've read in a youtube comment this week. Anyone swinging at that speed is at risk of injury, doesn't matter how "effortless" his swing looks. If anything bryson is at less risk of injury due to his dedication to strength/mobility training around his joints.

@@SlekbitBullshit. While Nienaber is a giant and has the genetics to swing easier and still bomb it, Dechambeau (being way smaller) really needs to go after it and therefore has a higher risk of injuring himself. Next time, consider thinking before you insult people who are actually right...

How about showing distances? We know they're long but watching a video with no distance measures makes it hard to phathom how long they actually hit it.

Wilco is just effortless. Long levers, fast twitch muscles and epic timing. Frankly ridiculously easy distance. Min Woo Lee is the one to watch though. Long, straight, easy swing and all round game. I would take his skills over any of the rest, maybe even McIlroy.

Wilco's swing looks so effortless compared to Bryson's. 340 yards average? That's absolutely insane...

Whenever he hits driver, DJ looks like he's holding back and could really hit it 700 yards if he wanted to.

This is way more fun to watch. Guys hitting 360+ yard drives with a 70 is way more fun to watch than a 65 with a bunch of layups and stuck wedges.

Burmester seems to go pretty much to parallel. Wilco only goes like 3/4ths to parallel and hits it even further lol.

Ten longest drives and most of them we aren’t even told how long they were. 🙄🤷‍♂️

Length envy and ball stroking

As many commented, Wilco looks so damn effortless, it's hard to even believe it. But what makes it even more insane is that most long hitters (especially long drive contestants) have a massive overswing (John Daily being the God-Emperor of this technique), but Wilco has more like just a 3/4 backswing, which is just bizarre. Is it possible that the overswing really doesn't help with speed, just maybe with timing and psychology for some people (at the price of accuracy)?

Now the USGA and R&A want us to be ashamed for watching this. They don't want long drives in the sport anymore. They want to ruin the most exciting thing in golf!

I mean, Nienaber is longer than all of them... Imagine being as arrogant as Bryson and not being the best in what you claim to be the best at.

All I'm gonna say is bryson is holding back most of the time to get a better approach shot so I'd imagine his driving distance average is lower. I'm sure if he wants to rip it he can. The man is ranked 5 in the world and 1st in the fedex cup standings atm.

Bryson is average. He might be long, but he doesn't win as often as the hype surrounding him would suggest. He's just a big ego, with hype. Like Cameron Champ or Spieth, he's a one hit wonder, a flash in the pan. He'll fade

@@thechampionspath4715 correct. If distance won everything, Kokrak, Finau, List, Champ would win all the time. DJ got to World #1 by massively improve his wedge and approach play. Hit it miles prior to that, didn’t win much and wasn’t in the Worlds Top #10. I remember watching Alvaro Quiros at the European Open at London Club in 2008, couldn’t work out how he shot +5 when he hit it so far. 😂

True measure of power is Ball Speed and Brysons is the highest

These guys are not even close to the longest hitters in golf. Maybe in PGA tour golf. Guys like Kyle Berkshire Justin James etc. are WAY longer.

@@2partiesnotpreferred226 Not True! Their clubs are all USGA LEGAL. The two guys I referred to can both break par on a regular basis although I will agree most long drives can't break 85 on a regulation golf course

Turn the shoulders hands up high extended most away from body and let the handle come first into the ball with long high release and extension. Dustin Johnson the most arrogant and miserable golfer in history, a smile :-) you will never see ever.
