Professional woodworkers create wooden templates. Having to adjust a complicated movable jig is counter productive.

Damn and the domino set-up, I've got the 500. The Festool attachments do all that anyway though.

The best tools around. But, so ridiculously price, they are unattainable for most of us. It appears that pricing was set to make the tool exclusive to a few people.

People with real talent don't require super expensive tools. Was woodpecker's around 100 years ago when the best furniture was made?

I love woodpecker tools. I watch everything they come up w/ and then fabricate similar tooling w/ mild steel that I get out of the scrap yard. Thanks peckerheads.

Buy a drill press for the money instead of the auto-angle drill guide. The miter gauge might be worth the money, but the stair gauges are $65 for something that a 50 cents nut and bolt can achieve. The sled is nice but not worth $999. The router base is nice... and reasonably priced.

Amazing tools, but very expensive and unatainable for most. I have sent them e-mails and never get a proper response. Seems that they are happy with status quo. All we can do is to wait for others to come up with cheaper copies.

Most of these tools have already been copied from China and are on websites for a fraction of the price and honestly...just as good. Hate to see China copy US products but since these are mostly machine made and not labor intensive...the machine cost should be similar. Also, many of the tools are over engineered and hence many of the features will go unused by most and in many instances to many moving parts to be productive. Many of these tools are for people who do it as a hobby and just want to nice red fancy tools hanging on their wall that gets used here or there. You wont' see a lot of professional shops actually using any of these.
