Number 1: The city of Biarritz:
Biarritz, the gateway to the PAYS BASQUE.
Biarritz is known for its spectacular surfing and beaches.
In Biarritz you can discover the Rocher de la Vierge, the Biarritz lighthouse, the fishermen's port, the shopping streets, and see the different viewpoints while walking along the Basque coast, and watch its fireworks.
You can practice surfing there and go to the various beaches such as Miramar or Port Vieux.
There is also the aquarium, the Saint-Eugénie church or our lady of the rock, and the Casino Barrière de Biarritz.
Villa Belza was built between 1880 and 1895.
Number 2 THE Basque Corniche
In the PAYS BASQUE you can discover La corniche Basque which extends from Ciboure to Hendaye to discover the cliffs of Flysch.
You can do the hike called “the Basque Corniche hike”
This will allow you to discover Pointe Sainte Anne, and the Château de Labbadia.
Number 3 Saint Jean de Luz
When you come to the Basque Country, I can only advise you to visit Saint Jean de Luz.
Saint-Jean-de-Luz is a pleasant town in which to spend your holidays.
After or before visiting the center of Saint Jean de Luz, you can go to the hill of Sainte-Barbe which is located on the edge of the ocean, on the heights of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
You will appreciate the panorama on the Fort of Socoa and the bay of Saint-Jean-de-Luz.
Number 4 Bayonne
When we talk about the PAYS BASQUE, we necessarily mention Bayonne.
Bayonne is known for its chocolate and ham.
You will have enough to fill your days with the district of Petit Bayonne, the old castle, the park of the postern, the house moulis or the cathedral Sainte-Marie de Bayonne
Number 5 Anglet
Anglet is located in the PAYS BASQUE, from the ocean front to the land, and is close to the city of Bayonne and Biarritz.
The city of Anglet is known for its surf spots and its beaches from the mouth of the Adour to the Biarritz lighthouse.
Number 6 the Rhune
La Rhune is a summit located in the Pyrenees chain in the Basque Country.
You can get there with Le Train de la Rhune, which will take you to the most legendary summit in the PAYS BASQUE.
If the train is full to go to the Rhune, a good plan will allow you to have a view of the Basque country as well as the Rhune and Saint Jean de Luz.
You may come across wild Pottoks, it is a breed of pony living mainly west of the PAYS BASQUE in the Pyrenees.
Number 7 Saint-Jean-Pied-de-port
Located at the foot of the legendary Roncesvalles pass, very close to the Spanish border in the PAYS BASQUE.
Number 8 Le Bastan in Biddaray
To discover the Basque Country, it is advisable to come there.
This is the Bastan à Biddaray, which is a stream that crosses the village of Bidarray.
As you walk through Le Bastan de Bidarray, you will discover places to swim.
Number 9, the village of Espelette
Espelette is a small village in the heart of the Basque Country.

Coucou l'ami 🙂 Merci pour ton retour, je te conseille d'aller visiter le Pays Basque, les paysages sont tout simplement grandiose 👌👌👍👍 Le lieu est chargé en histoire, et les panoramas sont vraiment exeptionnels, il y a de quoi faire des belles images 🏞️📽️📽️
Je vis à bayonne très bonne qualité de vidéo
que de magnifiques spots ! En effet , il y a beaucoup à voir. J'adore la Rhune, aussi. Super 👍💛

Oui les paysages étaient grandioses, On a fait la rencontre des magnifiques Pottoks sauvages, c'était génial 🙂 On y retournera c'est certain 📽️🏞️ Bonne fin de week-end 🙂

Beau reportage complet, je connais bien la région....je rajouterai le château d'Abbadia sur handaye qui vaut vraiment le détour par son originalité, son architecture et sa vue...

Non nous ne sommes pas de la région, mais dans ma jeunesse j'ai vécu dans le sud ouest lorsque j'étais étudiant 😀 J'allais souvent surfer à Lacanau Océan, car j'habitais à moins 50minutes 🙂

sympa la video de beau spot c est sur a voir ! l arriere pays est le plus beau, petit reprise sur la prononciation :) on dit bidarr"aille" , comme le bazt"anne",
Très complet ce reportage (que j’avais loupé) , c’est une région que je voudrais découvrir ! Vous y étiez à quelle saison ? Ça donnait quoi la météo ? Bonne journée Joël 🫡
Je suis d origine bretonne et j adore mon pays bigoudin mais faut avouer que le pays Basque est merveilleux c est pour ça que j y passe mais vacances d été depuis 7 ans , et peut être finir ma vie là bas.❤
