khamrah is one of my favorite clones. I was so impressed with its scent and preformance

It’s insane how Naxos is the only scent that clone houses haven’t invested more time into. It’s such an amazing fragrance.

Just won a 4.2 oz Layton tester in a raffle , cost me $33 for two raffle tickets and $12 upcharge for the difference. I'm gonna wear it today for the 1st time

I just got in a sample of Phaedon's Tabac Rouge, tried it on skin, and was instantly reminded of Amber Oud Tobacco Edition. Same sweetness, same spices, same tobacco.

Red Tobacco was my first niche. Wearing it right now, I still love it.

Tom Ford's private blends count as niche fragrances in my books. They're priced at a stupidly high rate, even moreso than Dior or Chanel fragrances.

@@luisalonzo3832niche has multiple definitions, it can mean houses they exclusively make fragrances and not other products or it can mean it’s available to a smaller amount of people(or niche). Tom Ford’s private blend is priced alongside a lot of niche brands so it’s not totally out of the question to call it a “niche” line

Great review, thanks a lot! I have smelled a lot of Erba Pura clones, and also tried the original recently to compare. So far the most accurate was the Paris Corner's Voux Turqoise for me.

Red tobacco is a beast of a fragrance. I have Layton and detour noir but the but seems to fade out really quick not sure if it's my skin or the climate where I live.

Silver Mountain Water is an awesome DNA that is sadly watered down now. Luckily theres Armaf Sillage, Afnan Supremacy in Heaven and Ajmal Silver Shade which may not make use of the same quality ingredients but have amazing smell and performance relative to the price

I had sillage and smw. Sold the Sillage because the smell was quite far from smw

I never cmell Angels Share, but i had Khamra for a moment and for me it was like something between Armanis Stronger with You Inensly and Abcolutly plus something else.

For me, it smells noticeably cheaper then Angel’s Share. It’s fine for what it cost, but Angels Share caught me off guard with how better it is. I highly recommend sampling it it just to see the difference

Well Khamrah isn't really a clone of Angels Share, its similar but it goes in a different direction. Kismet Angel (Also made by Lattafa) is pretty much a spot on clone

Exactly! Khamrah goes in a very different direction, where kismet angel is one to one, but has a certain powderyness to it that Angel's share doesn't

@@logancohan khamrah for sure. After a long time of having and trying both, while kismet angel is closer to Angel's Share (boozier), it doesn't perform nearly as well as khamrah, which is sweeter but unique and very luxurious smelling. It is a BOMB (do not wear during hot days!)

Can you review Armaf voyage titan? My wife bought me this for Valentine’s Day and it’s VERY nice. But I can not find much information on it on the inter webs. It has like 4 whole notes on fragrantica. Thanks

My buddy gave me a sample of parfums vintage rush of unicorns and it took me back to creed’s milliseme imperial they smell very similar

I had this. I loved it but after a couple of years it somehow went bad and I had to throw it away.

In my opinion, the best alternative for BCR 540 is absolutely All Saints Sunset Riot.

When I want vanilla and tabac, I'd just go for Herod. And Mancera? Check out Tonka Cola.

As always I agree with the honesty of AShton. Erba pure is so cloyingly sweet and u can't even take it off. Even 20 times sweeter than any Paco Robanes. More than fruits is so much of peach

Friend gave me a sample and even with one spray it's cloying. I don't see how anyone pulls that off.

One of the best and cheapest Silver Mountain Water clone has to be _Silver Shade_ by Ajmal

There's another clone of PDM Layton no one talks about that is spot on and has great quality. Bharara Blue. I have both Detour Noir and Bharara Blue. They are both amazing

I got Basso and Vibrato and love them... took like a month after ordering on MaxAroma for Basso because they took the order and realized it was out of stock. Sent me like 20 samples for the delay so can't complain.

How about charuto tobacco vanille instead of TF Tob. Van.?

Khamrah is way too fruity sweet and floral for me. Bought it expecting it to be close to Angel's share and ended up hating it. Soma Halcyon is much closer to Killians Angel Share albeit expensive but you get more juice for the money.

Charuto is identical on the dry down.. I wore in in Sephora and tried tobacco vanille by Tom ford and couldn’t tell a difference ..

Quick question for anyone who knows. I hear ya say designer houses, niche houses and Indy houses from time to time and the first 2 are easy enough but what qualifies a house as an Indy house and can you give me a example or 2??

I just got Kismet Angel in the other day and it is a fantastic fragrance! I had Fire Your Desire by Paris Corner but it so weak, I gave it to my teenage son for his birthday. I own Wild and Tobacco and it definitely has a Vick's vapor rub note in it. Think Insurrection II Wild + a pinky tip of Vick's.

Picked up a sample of Tobacco Vanille and it is absolutely awful to my nose. Honestly shocked at how this gets promoted in a world where there are substantially better Tobacco options. Side Effect, Naxos, Herod, Carlisle etc...

I like the dry down the opening is awfully I agree it smells bad but the dry down is amazing

@@Javier300k I'm into the drydown phase now and it is better (less disgusting) but still smells like rotten pickles and sweaty old socks to my nose with a sweet vanilla undertone and powdery Tobacco behind that. This stuff is definitely an acquired taste...

The drydown is horrid, I wanted to get rid of it after 30 minutes. XJ Naxos, Mancera Red Tobacco are better scents. L'occitane gets the tobacco and vanilla balance right with Eaux Des Baux for me.

Tom ford is designer. I doesn’t matter if it’s private blend or not plain and simple

Maison Alhambra’s The Tux is almost 1 to 1 to YSL Tuxedo, for sure the best I’ve tried!

Picked up Oud for glory, really liked it to begin with, especially for the price but I haven't gone back to it! Maybe time for another spin

@@ismael85 for me this type of fragrance you use 2-4 sprays max, it's not a really loud fragrance, if you did over spray I can see how it could be nauseating, but 2-4 sprays is absolutely fine, for me the performance is in how long it lasts before it's just a skin scent, I have others like sauvage elixir or frank Oliver Oud touch, those are much stronger to my nose and I stick to just 2 sprays with those guys

Inreresting closing note: The oregano comment made me think of spaghetti sauce.

PDM Layton clone Al Haramain Amber Oud Blue is so close.

always always purchase ........ the original.

The Tux is better than Tuxedo (or mustache)

Problem is you have to use it non-stop...when you stop taking minoxidil the hairs fall out again...best option for ash is a trip to istanbul

Just Jack Noir Endurance is a great one. It’s very cheap but availability is not to great. Also Just Jack Oud Oak is a great Oud Wood clone. It’s owned by the same company as Armaf.

Creed Aventus is the most cloned parfum....missing from here :).
