Yes! Haha! Did you notice they used that twice..? With Sarah Vaughan and later in his band in Snap Crackle. So good!

Roy's short solos are so tasty! If they were served at an 'all you can eat' buffet I would keep going back until I was stuffed 😋 Still have tabs from some of his trap solos. Studied them in conjunction with Reed's 'Steps to Syncopation' books and Stone's 'Stick Control' from when I was a kid taking lessons and learning to drum in the '60s, I have almost all of my old sheet music. And my '67 vintage Ludwig double bass Super Classic set in Sky Blue Pearl. They're beautiful
