This is great Ollie thank you! Really helpful for finals revision
A very informative presentation even though I don’t need the review. It’s always enlightening to see a knowledgeable person give their explanation / approach on diagnostics. Thanks for all your efforts and best of luck.
THANK YOU!!!! I'm a nurse doing further studies and this video helped a lot for my latest assignment

Hi Ollie. Thank you so much for this revision content on X-rays. Did you create an Anki deck for these. I only saw the summary sheet?
As a radiography student, thank you for this clear summary of how to spot all these pathologies. Chest X-rays are hard to interpret. At least with extremity work it's usually just fractures and dislocations we need to spot.
This helped me study for my FNP exam in the US. Thanks!!
Thankyou so much for the first time I understand chest xrays
Totally love the way you presented all the cases. Will definitely be coming back to this video for revising up before my exams.
this video is gold. thank you sosooo much.
Thank you so much for the explanation
Really good video. Thank you!
thank you very much !!!! Its so helpful
Really useful, great video
Thanks Dr. Ollie
thanks . it was very useful .
Thank you for helping me pass chiropractic
True, on an AP there is a bigger distance from the heart to the images receptor therefore the heart looks enlarge due to magnification. The FFD (Focus to film distance) should also be 180cm. A Radiographer plays a big role in producing good quality x-rays! A radiographer should always indicate if the Chest x-rays was done PA or AP and Erect/Sitting or Supine.
I am new and have subscribed.. Waiting for ECG.. thank you Ollie

First off, as a layperson, thanks for adding that firm disclaimer at the beginning. None of us out here in KZread Land need to become Dr. KZread. With that said, it’s very helpful to us as laypeople to have a grasp on what studies a radiologist must pass in order to get anywhere near a patient. And even with that said, there are probably still those who are merely mediocre at their jobs. As a lay patient, it’s helpful to have just a bit more sense if the practitioner discussing our X-Ray with us actually knows what they’re talking about or selling us a bill of goods. 👍

How do we diaognise asthma through chest xray?
@OllieBurtonMed
2 жыл бұрын
Asthma is not diagnosed via chest X ray. There are a few different tests that can be done including spirometry - but a chest X ray would not tell you
Thank you from lraq 💙

Is it possible for a doctor to misinterpret the appearance of lung cancer with tuberculosis?
@OllieBurtonMed
Жыл бұрын
It's possible for a doctor to misinterpret anything. It wouldn't be appropriate or wise for me to comment on any particular case. But obviously doctors are fallible like everyone else and will make mistakes occasionally.
