10 Move Memoless - The Fastest Clock Method for Those Who Don't Care

Ойындар

10 Move Memoless is a newer clock method that utilizes simultaneous moves while not requiring any memorization, setting it apart from methods such as flip and 7simul. This is the first tutorial on KZread about this method, to my knowledge.
Made by me and the pakistani nr holder for squan, ‪@Techcubes_‬
Original Document by the Goat ‪@tetrawaffle337‬ : docs.google.com/document/d/1-...
Also Eddie Artze averages mid 4 with this method, so it definitely has potential. It's definitely not as good as 7simul or sheerin, however.

    I managed to fit this with the pin order I use (UR DR UL U dr x2 UR DR UL U dr dl ul ur ALL) and improve it a little bit! The 10 moves are the following: 1. UR: match U to L w/ UR, UL to L w/ UL 2. DR: match C to U w/ DR 3. UL: match C to R w/ UL 4. U: match C to D w/ UL or UR Next put DL pin up while doing x2 5. Repeat step 1 6. Repeat step 2 7. UL: match C to R w/ UL & DR to D w/ UR 8. U: match C to D w/ UL or UR 9. dl: match UR to DL w/ UL or UR 10. \: match everything to 12 w/ UL & UR Example from the scramble on the video
1. UR: +6 w/ UL & +1 w/ UR 2. DR: -5 w/ DR 3. UL: -2 w/ UL 4. U: -2 w/ UL or UR DL up while doing x2 flip 5. UR: +2 w/ UR & -3 w/ UL 6. DL: +2 w/ DR 7. UL: +3 w/ UL & -1 w/ UR 8. U: +2 w/ UL or UR 9. dl: +6 w/ UL or UR 10. \: -2 w/ UL & -4 w/ UR This adaptation has some improvements, such as on the first move for each face, you only have to look at 1 clock to which 2 clocks will move to, instead of moving 2 clocks to 2 different times. Also has an improvement for the flip, when you do the x2 you can start right away with the first simultaneous move Thank you for sharing this method! I almost average the same as with regular flip on 2 days of practice, definitely switching to it :)

Finally while doing the UL move to match u to r, match the UR corner with the right edge. Finally, finish solving the cross, use dr to match UL with DR, and then do a / move to finish the solve.

    I would say there really isn't much to change. Your pin order is really just the pin order we used, just in a different order. You can match the UL clock to the L clock when you have the UR pin up on the first and second side, and you can match the DR clock to the D clock while you have the UL pin up on the second side. As long as you don't touch the DL pin at all when you are on the second side, you're good.

    This pin order is definitely not compatible with the method, the reason for this being the fact that your pin order has to be able to not affect one of the corners. For example, the presented pin order doesn't use the DL dial or pin at all. However, your pin order uses all 4 dials. I would suggest switching to the DL, UR, UL, U pin order, in which case you would simply mirror all the moves shown in the video, so that DL becomes DR and UL becomes UR, and vice versa.

  • @Techcubes_

    @Techcubes_

    8 ай бұрын

    So if you wish, you can switch to a Mirror of this method, if you prefer starting with DL. the pin order would then be DL,UR,UL, U, dl . Then on back it would be the same, except you would do the other simul move with UR Is up, on the dl in. Reminder, your never going to touch the dr dial.

    @rodrigoqteixeira top clock solvers usually have such a fixed pin order, which leads to easier lookahead. It's kind of the difference between using fmc techniques and using cfop in that regard. I highly recommend you switch to a fixed pin order.

    Guys, unless you’re lazy, don’t do this. Do 7simul or else explode. (Also 10mm being awesome made me burst out laughing.)

    Completely missing the point. I don't want to learn 7simul, I don't want to memorize or do math during inspection for my least favorite side event, so this is literally perfect for someone like me

    Anybody know what potential this has? Like, sub-8 max? Sub-6? Sub-5 or sub-4 even?
