Aluminium has the formula of X2O3 (Al203).Although hydrogen gas is produced, bubbles are not seen because it is not very reactive. Calcium and magnesium both have the formula of XO.(CaO and MgO).As magnesium and calcium are reactive metals, they hydrogen gas bubbles are observed.

Mam, I'm a Malayali I don't understand your language but I see vendantu because the questions are super❤❤❤❤
My answer for 11th question X2O3-- It might be aluminum. But bubbles are not formed because reaction is not that much exothermic XO -- this might be magnesium or calcium. Bubbles are formed because reaction is very much exothermic.
Kitna timepass krte ho mam😢
As aluminium reacts with steam not with water it does not form bubbles of hydrogen . In another case when calcium reacts with water to form bubbles of hydrogen which causes it to float
In the first reaction the metal is Aluminium oxide(Al2O3) It does not react with water due to its oxide layer(formed because Al is a reactive metal). It only reacts with steam Bubble formation takes place only when hydrogen is produced, but here reaction does not take place,so hydrogen is not produced.therefore no bubble formation. In the 2nd reaction the metal is calcium oxide(Cao) It reacts with water to form calcium hydroxide and hydrogen gas Here H2 is produced, hence bubble formation takes place
1) iconic compound is good conductor of electricity Compound have high melting and boiling point because ionic bond have strong electrolstic attraction of fore between metal
These bubbles are of Hydrogen gas . H2 gas is not released when Al2O3 reacts with water whereas CaO forms H2 gas because the Al is less reactive than the metal in Ca And Al2O3 is shows both acidic and basic properties
Session starts from 4:30 For time saving 😊👍

The metal Calcium upon reaction with water forms bubbles of hydrogen gasAluminum metal will readily react with water at room temperature to form aluminum hydroxide and hydrogen. That reaction doesn't typically take place because a layer of aluminum oxide naturally coats the raw metal, preventing it from coming directly into contact with water and it doesn't produce hydrogen gas
thier is no bubble formation in when aluminium oxide as it is insoluble in water , but when calcium reacts with water it formed calcium hydroxide with hydrogen gas which sticks to the surface and floats up. this is the bubble 🔥🎆❤🔥 GREAT SESSION MAAM , ACHE SE PRACTISE HOGAYA 💛
30:12 Al2O3+H2So4 becouse it is dilute sulphuric acid
Aluminum oxide (X2O3)is insoluble in water and does not react like magnesium oxide.(XO )Thus the bubbles are formed in the 2 nd case.
the first compount which is Al2O3 willnot react with water therefore there is no bubble formation but when cao reacts with water it forms Ca(OH)2 and H2gas(bubbles) and h2 gas sticks to surface of calcium and makes it flow on water
In aluminate oxide reaction with water, there is no formation of hydrogen gas . On the other hand, reaction of calcium oxide with water forms calcium hydroxide and hydrogen gas. So,formation of bubbles occur due to hydrogen .
first reaction: with a metal oxide like aluminium oxide (al2o3) or ferric oxide (fe2o3) which are insoluble in water and do not react with water further to form metal hydroxides. second reaction: but in the case of metals such as calcium, cao+ h2o = ca(oh)2 + heat. this process (slaking of lime) is an exothermic process which releases a lot of heat, this heat converts some of the water present into water vapour and they travel to the surface as bubbles.
1st: Fe2O3 it reacts with water to give iron hydroxide Because there is no free Hydrogen gas bubble is not formed 2nd: CaO, when CaO reacts with water it give H2 gas so bubble is formed MaM if there is any mistake please correct my mistake Thank you 👍
actually x2o3 is aluminium in which is protective layer so there is no formation of bubble XO in water has bubble produce because it is more reactive and doesnot have high resistance to water
In first case X2O3 reacts with water and form X(OH) or hydroxide form of it but no h2 molecule is formed In 2nd case XO reacts with water and also forms hydroxide form but H2 gas is also formed Hence there is bubble formation in case 2 but not in case 1
Mnemonic for reactivity series: K-katrina Na-ne Ca-car Mg-mangi Al-alto Zn-zen Fe- Ferrari Sn-santro Pb- phir bhi H- hai Cu- kyu Hg- Milli (for mercury) Ag-silver Au- audi

1)At first aluminium don't react with water it react with steam so no bubble forms. 2)Oxide layer of oxygen prevent further reaction as a result no bubbles formed. But in case calcium or magnesium oxide they react with water and forms bubble.
Homework Because in compound x2o3 which is al3o3 doesn't reacts with water doesn't give hydrogen gas so bubbles aren't formed but in cao reacts with water to give hydrogen gas so it gives bubble formation
FIRST CASE :- METAL OXIDE X203 REACTS WITH WATER TO FORM AN ALKALI WHILE WHEN METAL OXIDE XO REACTS WITH WATER IT FORM FORMS HYDROGEN GAS BEING MORE REACTIVE THAN WATER .
In the first reaction there will be no bubble formation because aluminium oxide is insoluble in water and it will not react but in second reaction calcium oxide react with water and calcium hydroxide and hydrogen gas and hydrogen gas forms bubble Al203+H20 - no reaction CaO + H2O - Ca(OH)2 + H2(g)
The main reason was because there is no h2 formation in reaction of x2co3 with h20. And those who are writing about cao and al203 you are wrong because in both cases the metal is same not two diff metals..
First condition Either the metal does not react with water( eg gold) or reacts soo vigorously that the hydrogen gas present catches fire (eg Sodium) Second condition Metal reacts vigorously with water and release hydrogen gas which sticks to the surface in from of bubbles(calcium)
Mam please give pdf of this session This session really amazing 👍👍
Thanks for such session mam 😃😃
FeO react with H2o to form Fe2O3 and release H2 gas whereas Fe2O3 rect with H2o to form rust Fe2O3 .xH2O
X203 is Al203 is not soluble in water and hence bubbles are not formed. X0 can be Mg0, CaO or ZnO .All being soluble in water react with water to form alkalis.
If we see the reaction of XO metallic oxide with water (eg- Ca), then we can say it is highly exothermic , which may cause some bubbles. But in case of X2O3 ( eg- aluminium), the reaction is not exothermic which may not cause bubbles .
Pottasium and sodium preventing of fire . It immersed in the kerosene oil
Ans 11)X2O3 has a ionic bond but xo has a covalent bond
In first reaction There is no bubble formation because the metal X can't replace Hydrogen from H2O because it is less reactive then hydrogen, hence no bubble formation takes place. ON THE OTHER HAND In 2nd reaction, the metal X displaces Hydrogen from H2O being more reactive then Hydrogen, hence bubble formation takes place. As we know that Metal oxide + water -> salt + Hydrogen ( If metal is more reactive then Hydrogen) Thank you mam for the amazing session 🥰🥰

I also have a similar answer.
I wish to Shree Ram that every student scores 99% in there boards exam👍🕉
XO => CaO, clacium reacts with water to form CaO + H2 gas, this CaO further reacts to form Ca(OH)2. X2O3 => Al2O3 , Aluminium does not react with water, but with stream. Also, it does not reacts further to form hydroxide, as it's insoluble in water. Hence, it doesn't form bubbles in water.

Pls do visit 'Learner's Console' ... also for this chapter 🙏
Al has formula of X2O3 and it does not produce bubbles as it is not very reactive. Whereas, Ca Or Mg both have the formula of XO and both of these are reactive metal so they produce bubbles .......
XO is more reactive than X2O3 . That's why it has more bubbles as compared to that.
Because XO3 has a layer of oxide which prevent hydrogen gas to stick on the surface of metal Thus, prevent it from floating.. Becaue XO When react to h20 then hydrogen gas attached to the metal surface therefore it starts floating.
First reaction: Fe2O3+H2O --> No reaction because Fe(Iron) is more reactive than Hydrogen. So, It can't displace it to liberate Hydrogen gas. Second Reaction: Cao + 2H20 --> Ca(OH)2 + H2 Here we simply observed that Hydrogen gas evovlved and lead to formation of bubbles. Thank you ...

hw ans: X2O3 does not form bubbles but XO forms bubble. In XO, X is a metal which does not react vigorously with water and forms XO tht is MgO. The hydrogen formed is released in the form of H2 and thus sticks in the metal wheres as in X2O3, the metal X is a high reactive metal which reacts vigorously with H20 and thus no H2 bubbles are released. session was amazing!thankou Ag maam💝
CaO when react with water it form ca(OH)2 and H2 gas . Al2o3. Does not react with water so it doesn't form hydrogen gas
Because the presen vuce of thin layer of aluminum oxide so it does not produce h2 gas
X²o³ does not react with water there fore it does not librate h² gas so no bubble formation occur🙂
Ma'am really all the questions were so easy and made me trust my preparations😅
Mam x2o3 is does not evolve any gas because it is low reactive that hydrogen whereas in xo x is high reactive metal which displace hydrogen from any solution and evolution of hydrogen gas occurs
1 ans. Because Aluminium is more reactive. So Lt is found in a combined state whereas Gold and silver are unreactive or least reactive metals. So these are found in native state
Zeher session ma'am ❤❤❤❤❤💯💯💯💯💯💯💯.Loved it :) :)...
When calcium react with water the reaction takes vigorously and calcium hydroxide is produced and hydrogen gas is evolved this H2 gas reduce the weight of ca drastically and hence it float on water
Homework and ::::: Al2O3 //(Almunium ....))))))
Apply a layer of oil or grease on Copper metal 😊 .
Because in molten state ionic compound release their ions whereas in solid state do not. Ions are the carrier of electric current .Hence they conduct electricity in molten form
11th Question's Answer: First one. X- AL2O3, because it is unaffected by water. Second one, X - Calcium because it reacts with water and due to this reaction hydrogen gas bubbles stick to the surface of it and we see bubbles. Amazing Session! 👍👍

Ca + 2H2O gives ca(oH)2 +H2 in this reaction calcium replace hydrogen from water and form calcium hydroxide and bubbles of hydrogen gas sticks to the surface of calcium and therefore it floats over water
Because ionic bond give ions in aqueous state and molten state conduct electricity

Calcium stars floating because the bubble of h2 gas formed stick to the surface of the metal

Because aluminium is highly reactive then gold and silver and the metal which lie on top of reactive series are always found in combination state

This difference between
mam you are a good teacher ilearn chemistry easly
Because hydrogen gas is release That's why bubbles formation occur
When Al203 reacts with water the reaction is not highly reactive even the hydrogen gas is formed whereas when Alo reactes with water being a highly reactive reactive the hydrogen gas forms bubble
it does not react with water?
The answer of last question will be... X2O3 in this X is Aluminum which is insoluble in water and do not reacts with water to liberate hydrogen gas..... On the contrary..... XO in this X is calcium which can react with water and bubbles of hydrogen gas stick to the surface of Ca due to which it floats on water....
Ma'am...can you please clear this doubt of mine What will be the products of this reaction: Al+NaOH--->? Will it be the same product as for Al2o3+NaOH---> NaAlO2 + H2O
