LOD got a huge ovation when they returned in 2003. The real reason they didn't get a contract is because Hawk was in awful shape with his drug and alcohol addiction. It was even more evident when Hawk passed away just a few months later. A year or so later they gave Animal a contract, and he made a new LOD with Heidenreich... which was awful. Even though they did win the tag titles at one point.

Definitely showing my age. I loved the headbanger’s return. Was it random? Absolutely. But I had fun
10. I can agree with that. 9. Dunno 8. Definitely agree, he randomly showed up. Should’ve been given an entrance instead of just mentioning he’s there. 7. Returned to literally do nothing. 6. Well if Big Show makes random face/heel turns, he’s gonna be making random returns. (So does that mean Big Show was the secret boss for Wrestlemania 36?) 5. I almost forgot this happened 4. Viscera at least stayed for a few years, whereas Gangrel disappeared after 1 week. 3. Wasn’t surprising 2. The only positive thing…..at least Stone Cold didn’t lose to Coach. 1. While I agree it was random……she should’ve been number 10. Personally, Eve Marie should’ve been number 1. (She returned, wrestled far worse than she did before, and then got fired since her wrestling was terrible, making it a complete waste of money.)

Remember his heel turn on Bobby Lashley in *2006*? That comeback was random enough a full decade before WM 32; I grew up watching him in the early 90's, and that was the most nonsensical thing I could think of, Tatanka vs Bobby Lashley is a totally random match, and I don't think it even happened, as Tatanka was gone in a month or so afterwards...
The most ironic thing about Backlund is when first approached in turning heel late in his title run, he balked at the idea. This led to the Iron Sheik becoming a transitional champion. Then Backlund returned in the mid 90's and became a heel and he was a far more interesting as a heel then he ever was as a babyface.

Gutted by the news… r.i.p Bray sending prayers to his family and friends.
When it comes to the women's Royal Rumble I don't really think any entrant would be considered "random" or "unnecessary" - although its getting back up there now, the women's division is still pretty small between the main roster and NXT and they need bodies to fill Rumble spots. I know they want the women's Royal Rumble to have the same prestige as the mens and appear to be on par with it, but they probably should have capped it at 20 or 25 entrants - just a couple of years ago between all the women on the main roster and NXT, not including who were wrestling on the show, they only had something like 17 or 18 women and the rest all had to be legends and outside talent... that was almost half of the entrants that year.

@@nehemiahpouncey3607 pretty much. People get so hyped up for a bunch of nothing. Don't get me wrong, he definitely has cemented his legacy, but these random appearances aren't it.

D’lo was one of my favorites to watch in the attitude era

I always thought he was so extra, in the good way. 😂
Suprised Animal’s 2005 run on smackdown wasn’t on here
A lot of these guys were a lightning in a bottle moment. Injecting them back into some random out of time place is just stupid.
bro the LOD no selling was sooo much worse than you described lol. Not only did hawk no sell the 5 star Kane gave him a chokeslam before that to set up the frog splash. So Hawk took two very protected finishers back to back from some top superstars and got up like it was nothing. immediately canned after that 😂😂😂

He would no sell piledrivers in his prime. Crying laughing emoji. Crying laughing emoji. Crying laughing emoji.
I hate Nia Jax in the ring, but what "controversial comments" are you talking about? At 8:06 *she was saying the truth*

You agreeing with them doesn't mean they weren't controversial, mate.
I was so confused when Nia Jax's music played when the timer hadn't even appeared 🤣
Its bad when an Attitude era addict like me had to go "Ohhhh yeeaaaah I think I actually do remember the headbangers."
Time to update it and add nia jax😂😂
First
Nia jax? 2003?? Did you mean 2023??
D'Lo Brown thumbnail got me to watch this video. It's a shame they couldn't do anything with that return. I could've written a great storyline for him.
I seen Dlo in a RAW dark match in New Orleans back in 2008. Then I seen him in Vegas working at a strip club like 4 years ago 😂
