Company must stop giving white head light. These light makes opposite driver completely blind compared to yellow lights. Also, a law has to be made against unnecessary light modifications.

Also need to educate people that their cars have low beam which works and needs to be used ! Most of the people don't even bother switching to low beam ! So frustrating!

On the dot.. excellent points... should give UV cut glass. .. factory legal tint/blinds(for rear seats at least).. .cornering headlight.. .rear seat decline/thigh support.. factory fit dashcam+rearcam(like new Venue).. Rear seat + boot light dead pedal. .dual steering adjustment maybe.. Better Sound deadning Autofolding ORVMs in mid variants Fuel type indication inside the fuel lid Stricter seat belt warnings Engine guard/plate underneath And many more small things could be added to different variants.... atleast for mid variants remove unnecessary things like wireless charging ..sunroof ...21 speaker systems ..auto rain sensing wipers(you cant sense the rain yourself.?). ..auto headlamps/ ( you cant sense its getting dark out).. . electronic seat adjustment (i can adjust manually i dont mind)

For me, adaptive steering guidelines in reverse mode is very important. I had that in my Verna and missing in Taigun 😢 This will really helps when you parking in a mall or apartment basement where you either surrounded by pillars or other vehicles. Must have!

Ford Ecosport had TPMS, Speed limiter and Hill hold assist (manual). Still own this machine and love it every time I drive. 🙂

Paddle shifters and Sports Mode in automatic cars is an absolute must. Honda were pioneers here offering this combination in City, Jazz and Amaze (may be even Civic). Others manufacturers are slowly following...VW, Hyundai and Maruti. However, I'm not including AMT cars here since they are not proper automatics

Auto dipper (Smart headlamp or Auto high beam) is a feature very useful for night driving. This is part of ADAS in cars like MG astor. But like adaptive cruise control this one can be provided as stand alone feature. Full ADAS feature are a hype in Indian condition.

Highly valid discussion sir. Things I would like to comment on. 1. I am very much angry about the wireless charging feature in my Nexon. There is no point giving wireless charging without wireless Android auto. Anyway someone has to keep the phone plugged in then what's the use? Moreover, it took away the storage space available in other variants. Lack of thought. 2. The thing that upsets me the most is people driving at night with a high beam on. In my state, nobody seems to be bothered about the inconvenience and risk it creates. Manufacturers should think about this and bring out some solution, something like setting a time limit e.g. say two minutes, then the high beam would go off automatically. What do you say? 3. I tried using the cruise control, but in the highways of WB, I can't maintain a certain speed for long because of various reasons like slow moving vehicles in right lanes, animals, people crossing roads, barriers placed by traffic police, potholes etc. Moreover, the car going on without my foot pressure feels like the car is out of my control and I get nervous and tense instead of being relaxed. That's why I stopped using it. Other features that you mentioned like TPMS, ventilated seats are very useful indeed. P.S. I purchased Nexon last month after watching your videos and joining the user WhatsApp group. Thank you.🙏

Many features will not even cost anything or very little to the manufacturer, instead they prefer to neglect them. Dashcam is a major requirement with kind of roads and driving skills people have. Even if companies cant give complete dashcam , they can at least leave a usb-c (With robust internal wiring via battery) socket near the rear view mirror.

My Ecosport has most of these safety like TPMS, Hill Hold, Auto dimming mirrors, speed limiter, Xenon lights, ESP, 6 airbags. Plus some more like 5th alloy wheel, Cruise control etc. Only thing it lacks is 360 camera and ventilated seats (but AC it too powerful to compensate for that)

I absolutely agree with all the [points here. Specifically I think hill assist is most essential in automatic cars. Cars like Honda Amaze which comes with CVT and costs more than 11 lakhs does not offer this basic essential feature. Shame on such brands and their low sensitivity to customer needs and technology adaption.

There is need for ventilated seats in every car particularly driving long distances. The entire back and the bottom get deprived of ventilation while driving in summer. Even aircondtioning doesn't help. One has to make a gap between the back and the seat for a cross ventilation to dry up the sweat. This however is not possible for the bottom while driving. Ventilated seats ensure cross ventilation and thus there is less or no discomfort caused by sweating..

High beam solution- Had observed during childhood, people uses black stickers or black paint to cover headlight's upper top glass by 35% (half moon shaped sticker). This helps stopping high beam on coming vehicles and whole light on road only while switching on high beam. Those days even car manufactures & good accessories showrooms use to stick those stickers on headlights with their brand name and contacts.
