The 'Electrica Mechanica Solo' is no longer around. The company had to 'buy back' all of the vehicles they ever sold (at full price) due to an unexplained power failure issue. What a shame. I test-drove one of them in Phoenix and loved it. I only saw one (1) of them on the road and wondered whatever happened to it.
Cool.
The first Mokes (originally Mini Mokes) were not built in world war 2, but were built in 1964, as an off road/utility version of the mini minor, they were then built around the world with the USA being one of the last countries to catch on to these fun mini variants.
Cool video, thanks for posting.
Thank you, i still didn't knew, that Microlino ist in Porduktion!
Awesome
Cantik artega ni gayezzzz... nexttttttttttttttttttttt
That Strom-R-3 looks like a Mini-Cooper on 3-wheels.
I like the first one so far so let's see what else this video has got to offer
Tractor T & busses need an upgrade too.
The Mini Moke has a 'safety' belt with a bracket on the roll bar that aligns nicely to make proper head injuries.

Unlikely. It’s only a concept at the moment. I seriously doubt it will ever make series production but I would be happy to be proved wrong.
😂😂😂... this was the most funniest presentation you folks gave ever done. My 12 yo grandson would to drive one of these. I would be afraid to fart in them (might blow out the windows)..😂😂😂. Shared on my Facebook, Parler, and Minds social media.
Is the e Roadster based on a Porsche 356? Looks like one.
Mx-5 :)
Sports cars Mazda and Ortega wonderful desgin
Only thing mini about the MINI is the name!
Please do your research Even the heaviest model of the new Suzuki alto is 675kg And the new sporty honda s660 and daihatsu copen at 700kg
Innovative transportation biz:|~~~
Ha does anyone remember the vw thing,it was really used in ww2 by the Germans as a military vehicle.but now here in the us there really great fun things to get out and ride around in.that is if you can ever find one anymore!?
The original Mini Moke was based on the original Mini and NOT during WW2 as stated here. It was used by the Royal Navy on aircraft Carriers and in Bases.

Also a movie car- Surprising fact: No car that wasn't an Aston Martin has been used in more Bond movies than the diminutive Moke. Huh? That's right, the little Leyland runabout has appeared in "You Only Live Twice", "Live and Let Die", "The Spy Who Loved Me", and "Moonraker".
Now I understand emojis
the original moke was offered by the same company thet made the classic mini cooper the models that came with the 998 cc engine got 50 miles to the gallon
I think the original Moke used Mini engine and other parts.

You are correct there was trials with 2 engines one in front and back for 4 wheel drive for the armed forces 😲 but could not get them to run at the same speed 🤭

I owned a BMC Moke 1100cc in about 1969-70. This 13"-wheeled very basic vehicle (released in 1968) was an upgrade on the original 850cc 10" wheeled Mini Moke vehicle launched in 1964 in the UK in both Morris and Austin versions. My version, which shared engine capacity with the Australian-built Mini K (sedan and van) unveiled in 1969; as the Mini K - a model that was built at BMC’s Zetland plant in Sydney from 80% Australian parts, was not very heavy on fuel consumption due to its light vehicle weight (578 kg). By way of comparison, a Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide Ultra in ready-to-run form weighs in at 439kg. Briefly, around 1971, Leyland Australia produced a variant referred to in Leyland literature as "Moke, special export", but commonly called a "Californian", which had a 1,275 cc engine and was fitted with side marker lamps and different rear lights to conform to US FMVSS standards. The fuel tank from the Austin Sprite or MG Midget was fitted beneath the rear load area, replacing the standard tank mounted in the left sidebox.

I really liked the Electra Meccanica but doesn't if figure ,,, the one I like costs as much as a house. It sucks having a Porche taste on a Corolla budget. And why does the Fiat Spider have two grills? One grill would do just fine, look at the attractive Mazda Miata, it has one grill and looks great.
2020 Toyota look good but slight frame.electrica made in canada was over priced like wow...
"Mini Moke slightly bigger than its ww2 predecessor" do your homework BMC didn't produce the Moke until 1964 what else have you got wrong ?
moke ww2 ???
Love the list... but you do realize the MX-5 and Fiat are basically the same car. I prefer the FIAT though, I do not know why.

I remember the spider from .... Well ages ago. Was looking to buy a used one. I believe the engine was in the rear and was flat. It didn't have much getup and go acceleration was sorely lacking when compared to a Triumph. The shifter was sloppy, so quick up and down shifts were out of the question. So no I didn't buy it.
Yea because nothing says small like a car that has literally twice the horsepower than any turbo production kei car yet a second slower in 0-60
ทำไมไม่บอกราคา
Moke changed from 50's to WW2. Both wrong. Gas guzzling? 42mpg (imperial) back in the day.
You cannot call the modern mini a mini it's to ruddy big to be a mini
Why didn’t they make Moke with a bit of oomph? Conventions and Amusement Parks? How disappointing. That was the only model I was interested in. O-well.

My 1970 BMC Moke was driven at 70 mph on straight sandy stretches of the Carneys Creek Rd - Killarney rd - Mount Lindsey Rd (about 1969?), while I slowed to 60 mph to drift through sandy corners. 50 HP from the 1100cc (East-West mounted) four cylinder A-series engine, 578 kg vehicle weight, and FWD shod with 13" winter tread tyres.

John Klumpp I had a Mini Moke in the 1980’s and boy could that car unleash on the freeway. Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne in 45 minutes instead of 1 hour 10 minutes. ‘Mokey’ had a fibreglass lockable canopy with Mini Minor sliding windows and a lift up rear window. I thought I was pretty cool going to University in that car.
MINI it isn;'t small car its normal size like VW Golf

This is only 3 months old, but several of these companies have gone broke. Also I wish you'd get a voice over guy who has a clue about cars, SO many technical errors !
The original Moke is based on the Mini and thus a child of the 1960s, not WW II
Joke electric 25mph endurance 40m,is it a joke?
These are just toy for the rich
Minds Eye You might want your copy editor and continuity people to go over the text a bit more carefully. I believe it was in the Mazda specs Horse in horsepower was spelled HORE which made it HOREPOWER. LMAO🤴🏼👷🏼🤴🏼😂😂😂
Why would u need power window in a car that small or in any car people are just lazy
Unless under 5k world wide mom & pop shop per yr sales or over $100k do whatever price getting full 10yrs tax 10% of sticker all up front so looking of way. Every thing else same rules 1st world for All & 3rd world better catch up quick time running out, same pollution same traffic, same dead ppl in crashes.
Not sold I USA or electric Some of us do not intend to have an electric car or truck of any kind
Moke ..Not road legal. What a wast of time..And why make it bigger?
한국어 없냐?세계공용어가 한국어가 되가는데 언제까지 영어만 나올래?

The original moke was never a world war 2 predecessor it was derived from the mini in the 1960 period and was never accepted by the military even with an engine in front and back as it was too low to the ground and not powerful enough so it was only a fun beach type vehicle.
I personal am getting tired of hearing about electric vehicles I would not have one if they gave it to me and I am sure there are other like me out there Electric car are just to much of a hassle and who wants more hassle in there life we have got more then enough with this damm pandemic
@mindseyedesign
3 жыл бұрын
I disagree about electric vehicles being more of a hassle. I specifically remember when gas prices were so high everyone wanted options. Now we have other options and the oil companies no longer have full control. It's estimated by 2025 the majority of cars on the road will be electric. Technology is improving the range and charge times to the point of outperforming gas vehicles in most statistical categories. I'm curious, why wouldn't you have an electric vehicle if someone gave you one? Seems odd especially if you've never owned one or driven one either.
@patrickchubey3127
3 жыл бұрын
My biggest gripe about electric cars is that they're so high priced that they are just toys for the very well off. The crummy, small, chinese built Chevy Bolt STARTS at a whopping $44,000 here in Canada. I can buy TWO Toyota Corollas for that price. Plus there's next to no charging infrastructure here, and electric car range still isn't good enough. If they come up with a decent electric car that costs 20 grand and can go 1,000 miles, then, maybe then, I'd be interested. Until then, the rich can blaze a trail for the rest of us. On my budget, buying one Corolla would be a burden for me, so buying a current electric vehicle would be impossible. So much for the electric future.

Hmmm! YOU do prefer steam-power, even with subway trains, or streetcars. While additionally, YOU prefer Four-Stroke powered hand-drills, washing machines, cellphones, and anything else that could asphyxiate humans when operated inside enclosed spaces with inadequate ventilation. I suggest that you search for a working Time Machine so you can 'move' to a more suitable era - say, late 1920 - 30. These kind of folk out there like you are loosely referred to as Dinosaurs or Luddites. Fossil-fuel is destined to be phased out as common-sense wins out over poisoning our breathable air, and over-heating our host planet. Volkswagen plans to phase out gas and diesel engines by 2026.
