I can see so many applications for a lot of these pieces of equipment. That one piece of equipment with the two manipulator arms that would be ideal for so many different types of work. Construction, demolition, logging, but the most useful would most likely be the use for things like Fire & Rescue. A piece of equipment like that would be ideal for dealing with rescue work.

Was surprised to see the walls actually made of brick(sort of...., without mortar - - not too good) Brick houses around here, they cheat a bit. They build it with wood, then use brick as siding. And then there is another factor missing, bricklayers constantly are chopping up bricks to fit into odd dimensions, this machine had no provision for that.

I agree. if this was used in a steel mill, a little molten steel or an I beam to the arm would severely damage it. It is a good start but it needs a better base and better protection.

problem with the brick layer... you cant do an outer layer of a building... or work around anything that protrudes from the building... so its a generation to late.... was wondering if anybody else laughed at the last one... thinking how the one on bottom was destroying a floor support weakening the building while the one on top was doing the same up top, and you were thinking of when they might show the building colapsing...

Laborers break the concrete to the rebar on multiple floors all the time with jack hammers when doing repairs or upgrades. Possible getting to conduit inside. Those two won't collapse the building especially if the rebar is still in tact and other pillars are around. The building isn't 2d like the cartoon.

how does that traffic machine work? becouse you would think that if the road needs a different configuration (like more lanes) then there probably already is a traffic jam. so the machine would not be able to get in there. and what about the lane that is being changed? how do you make sure no cars are driving on that?

they change it before rush hour, so in the morning it's 3 lanes ín to the city en 2 lanes out, and at 3 o'clock in the afternoon they change it to 3 lanes out of the city, 2 lanes in. (bvb)
