my god I just got chills I can't believe I legit didnt think about this lol. It was right in front of us after Season 3 episode 10 but oh man I wonder if its Evil Morty knows Rick is scared of Pirates or Evil Morty made Rick become terrified of Pirates/Eyepatches. I know the Eyepatch specifically would only work if Rick mentions it again but it can happen!

The variations of morty behaviour could come down to the morty mindblowers and how many times they've had summer 'clean' their memories with a lv 3 or lv 4

To Rick knowing he is a tv character.. what if it goes slightly beyond that. It was stated that he was passive about crisis events because he knows its all written by someone somewhere... what if the writers, according to Rick's world, can't control Rick's actions but just the situations he is in? Maybe he skips dimensions hoping to escape it all. Perhaps when something horrible happens hes nonchalant because he takes a second to think "So, thats what im doing today? Really? A god damn space fart? Im out! Morty lets go... Morty? Fuck.."

At this point the only real "ending" to the show can only be one where Rick actually crosses over into OUR reality.

Beth makes a fourth wall joke at the very end of the season 3 finale. It could be clone evidence, pointing to the fact that Rick accidentally programmed her a bit

Sometimes I think that some theories might be true and might be what the writers were planning BUT they decide to change it so it doesn't look like we "cracked" it.

I think they do that a bit too much. I know they don't want to be cliched or obvious, but sometimes the fans are going to guess the twist because some of the fans are bound to be at least as good at telling stories as the show's creators. Just because a handful of people beat them to the punch doesn't mean the ideas aren't creative or interesting enough to to be a part of the show. They obviously enjoy subverting our expectations, and that's part of what makes it a great show. I just think they try a bit too hard sometimes to be unpredictable when that's only one aspect of the shows appeal. Being 6 seasons in, I'd rather have a few more convential stories over another "Story Train" type of mindfuckery. It was a decent episode, but I think they really pushed the limits of the 4th wall stuff to breaking point in that one.

I think when Rick says "We can't keep doing this every week, we've got 3 or 4 more tops". He meant that in certain (most) shows there's always an escape " he's not dead it was a twin/decoy/clone" or w.e. And viewers get sick of it. Also Annie could be a nickname for Diane

The real Morty gets left at the place with big green things with teeth. Can only be seen at the beginning of the show. Most likely the evil morty.

When rick says we only have two or three more of these, regarding replacing themselves in another universe, I interpreted it as another 4th wall breaking joke as the story device gets stale if used too much and emotional bonds to the characters might suffer. I think Rick's aware that the cancellation of the show is the end of the universe we're seeing, which is in our universe. This is why he can make a contradictory claim regarding the infite universes. Maybe I'm reading into it too much or just making up stuff too make sense of it, we shall see haha

I always thought that the story Rick “fabricated” for the interrogator was a fabrication of a potentially real scenario. And “our” Rick is actually the one who threw the bomb , and killed simple Rick’s family. This would explain why he seemed genuinely sad while the scenario played out, because he feels bad for killing an alternate version of his wife and daughter. The story also isn’t technically a memory, because he didn’t see the aftermath of the explosion, since he threw the bomb through a portal.

just revisiting this video the first theory especially with the latest season and how it's going makes so much sense and it just gets truer every season

We've assumed that Evil Morty has been controlling Evil Rick. And at the end of that episode, the Evil Rick was revealed to be a robot. But we only know that that body had cybernetic parts. And it's revealed that Evil Morty also has cybernetic parts, and that there was a control link. But what if it was Evil Rick who was in control the entire time? And with that control link, perhaps before Evil Rick was killed, he transferred his mind into Evil Morty. So perhaps the theories have been getting it backwards this entire time. So rather than Evil Morty being a Rickless Morty, perhaps Evil Morty is in fact Evil Rick who had taken over the mind of his own Morty to use him as camouflage. With that said, Rick Prime claims to be the Rickest Rick. But what if Evil Morty/Rick is even Ricker than Rick Prime? That would explain why Evil Morty/Rick hates Ricks even more than Rick Prime.

You dont take into effect the fact that the Rick's knew the technology used, and thus they knew the exact function of the transmitter. It doesnt make sense that those Rick's wouldn't understand how that technology works when they are also as smart as any other Rick.

Hero2BDetermined I think it’s obvious that evil Morty is Rick C-137’s Morty. He framed C-137 portal gun to get him. Of all the Ricks WHY C-137??? Exactly because c-137 betrayed him. C137 Rick knew how to camouflage himself from other Ricks in an easier way but the Evil Morty had to use a ton of Mortys.

Evil Morty, Evil Rick and Morty they are all evil just from the murders all 3 have committed.

Evil morty was killing the ricks to get the “brain power” and this is why he is a lot smarter then other Mortys.

I personally think that the Rick-Morty we see in the citadel actually just Rick fusing himself with Morty to not have to deal with having a morty. He just mixed the two together, at the expense of not having such intelligence ad Rick. From the same episode we see Rick explaining that morty and rick waved cancel out each other. It would make sense to just put them together to get average brainwaves.

The picture of Rick with baby Morty in Bird Person’s house shouldn’t be our Rick, since he is recent to the current universe they are in. I keep thinking about that. All his buddies in this universe aren’t his original buddies, Unity is not his original Unity and every Galactic Federation in every universe seems to be out to get him.

What if Dan Hartman said the thing about evil morty being in the season 3 finale, because it was like an Easter egg or something for the theory for Rick having evil morty at one time, and in season 4 the theory will come true

The Ricklantis Mixup from what I understand was supposed to be the original season finale. So if you swap the order of the last couple episodes, Evil Morty was in the season 3 finale.

What if the reason Rick knows they only have a limited number of times they can do that is because he knows that they won't reuse that same plot over and over in a series.

I TRULY enjoy watching this vid from 2021. So, funny.

Alright, 2 years later and the season 4 finale came out yesterday,beth is a clone but neither of the clones know which, one is "star wars" and one is "beth" in the end we find out Rick removed his memory of the cloning and when we watch the memory we find out he mixed them up so he doesn't even know.

This guy is great. My favourite speaker on this channel.

Just an FYI, Rick never said that he didn't clone Beth. He said that the Beth he was talking to wasn't a clone. Which coming from Rick, the semantics are important. Clone Beth could be out roaming the multiverse.

I cant understand why anyone would question whether Rick is aware that he is a character on a show. Morty has also made a few comments regarding being similarly aware. I imagine this fact is something Dan & Justin expect viewers to instinctively know. Being the smartest man in the universe...Rick would HAVE to be aware of the existential dynamic surrounding his existence in the first place. Some of the conspiracy theories Ive seen online are just silly and implausible, but many seem so spot on, I cant imagine them not being at min, SOMEWHAT plausible. Great video, its so great to see there are others who are as obsessed with this show as I am 🤣🤣👍🏻

Ok wait I just remembered I think Dan or Roland once said if they’d get to NINE seasons they’d think about making a movie. So if they were to get a movie chances are they’d try to team up with McDonald’s and revive the sauce. Sadly the sauce has been revived already so what are we going to get when a movie comes if it ever does.

What of the possibility of the 4th wall theory... Rick is Rick in a universe who tells his travel stories on a “non-fictional” tv show where he elaborates excessively... sort of like the Colbert show (I mean think about it) He goes an his adventures with his friends, puts together a show and acts in out in a studio without the “4th wall”. Telling the stories to the people that can’t travel as he can.

If Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland had a baby it would very likely grow up to look like Jacob Atkinson. Just a thought. Great video! Can't wait to see more!

Maybe evil Morty is the one that kills Rick and comes back to take Rick's place....

also one thing about the Smart seeds is you might only get the side effect the first time you use it. Because Rick and Morty were trapped inside that mini verse for a while and I can gurantee he didnt have enough in his flask to stay smart making those crazy machines out of just trees and branches. I think with the Seeds Rick prob drinks them still but also is smart enough after all hes done to not need them to still be smart and since his body is so use to it no side effects when they wear off. The Scary thing to think about is Evil Morty started immediatly taking all of the Seeds from the Farmer Ricks Farm literally the moment after Evil Morty became president.

Eye-patch Morty made himself smarter after going to that world and refining the process to increase his basic intelligent to at least Rick level.

I'm an April Fools Day baby and your statement about how it's the worst holiday "Even if something Good happens I still develop trust issues." IS SO HURTFULLY ACCURATE ` I love being a birthday reject (Took me till i was 8 to figure out why my cousin called me that)
