Ive been a life long Kobe fan. I travelled all the way from japan to see him play and the second i walked through the hall in the middle floor of the arena and saw Kobe warming up, it was so utterly surreal to me. I watched him so many times on tv. Went through the ups and downs. I was destroyed when he tore his Achilles, absolutely devastated when he passed. He’s the greatest in my eyes. Many great moments missed - Willis reed walks out to the court for the Knicks for instance belongs here - Not a single Skyhook, no Bird, no Magic, no Russel, no Detroit, Reggie Miller's scoring outburst that changed to rules... you have maybe 2 or 3 of the greatest in this 10

This reflects the era you're most familiar with. There've been so many great moments and three I think would make a lot of people's lists would be the 'Now, there's a steal by Bird' moment in 1987, Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and Pistons. Bird's steal helped the Celtics to win the game. Another moment was in 1995, in Game 1 of the Pacers and Knicks playoff series, when Reggie Miller scored eight points in nine seconds to win the game. Another was Shawn Kemp's revenge dunk on Alton Lister in the 1992 Finals between the Sonics and Warriors.

Lebron in 2010 was still saying that Kobe was the greatest player in the league. MJ was better than both though. MJ had 24 games at the end of one season as a point guard. That's doing the distributing like Lebron did in his Career. In those 24 games, MJ got 15 triple doubles, averaged 32 points, 11 assists, and 10 rebounds per game.

The NBA are defined by moments. But, since 2020, Kobe Bryant's death is still felt. I remember where I was and what I was doing when I learned his passing. There are very few moments like these in sports. R.I.P.

This was moments from 1996 til now. Forgot about Bird calling his game winner and he even called falling into the trainer's lap. No Reggie Miller 8 points in 8.9 seconds, or T-mac 13 points in 30 seconds. Pippen's dunk on Ewing, Jordan's dunk on Mutumbo, I could go on with so many more historical moments. The only thing before 96 was Wilt's 100 point game everyone knows about. Kobe's 81 was a top 5 moment easily as well.

Jerry West's half court shot; MU holding his first trophy and crying; Reggie Miller scoring 8 points in 9 seconds. The ones you have chosen are good but there are far from the best.

As NBA fan from the 90s, of course I've been MJ's fan and believed that he is the GOAT. But Kobe is surely one of the greatest players of all time. I've truly admired him for not leaving the Lakers for another championship with some super teams and still winning two more championships by himself as the team leader after several upsets after 2003. For the same reason, Tim Duncan is also one of the greatest players of all time. In my opinion, great player and good player are different. Those who stay with one team, build their team and lift up their teammates so that they finally win the championships are considered "Great". That's why Tim, Kobe and Steph are considered as great players to me while players like Lebron or KD are not. Giving up Cav after several upsets and joining Wade's Heat just to win the championship made it illegitimate for Lebron to be called the great player.

Rebound. Thank you for the video. You did a great job narrating and editing this piece together. There are several legit entries on your list. And then there are some that I don't understand. So I have a couple of suggestions and constructive criticisms that, I hope, can help you keep on improving. First, finding the audio of Wilt's 100-point game was fantastic. But you know what? Who was the announcer? As an NBA fan, I would like to know who the announcer was. Most likely, it's legendary Philadelphia broadcaster, Bill Campbell (RIP, Bill). He broadcast for the W's from 1946 until 1962, when the franchise moved to SF. He also called games for the Eagles, Phillies and Sixers. The dude is a legend. This is important info. Next, may I suggest that Magic Johnson's "Baby Hook" over Kevin McHale is more iconic than Ray Allen's shot? There's really no reason for Iverson to get 2 entries. A more iconic shot that you could switch for either of Iverson's might be Jordan's right-to-left switch against my Lakers in 91. Just some ideas to spice it up a bit. I woulda taken the Fisher Swisher over the D-Wade-LBJ dunk. You're a little too fixated on the LeBron-Golden State thing.

@@cdf8821 A backhanded compliment? In film school, they always teach you to lead with what was good, then come up with ideas to improve upon. No film, tv show or KZread video is ever perfect. Ever. If you actually read what I wrote, I clarified right from the beginning that what I was doing was offering suggestions and constructive criticisms. In doing so, I offered specific instances that I feel are more iconic, or at least less redundant. If you feel that these moments are indeed THE most iconic, please tell me why. I am open-minded. I would like to hear your opinion. Personally, as an NBA fan, I also like more context and detail around the moments. Such as knowing who the play-by-play announcers are. The color commentators help to establish iconic moments and deserve credit, do they not? Look, I am also glad this video was produced. But it could be better.

@@christopherbanuelos8208 I understand your point " The most iconic" is subjective. There may be other factors you are not aware of that make something "iconic" to one and not the other. But this isn't film school and it wasn't created to be "perfect" it was created to be entertainment. Now knowing you attended "film school", you definitely should produce a youtube video which covers what you would like like to see produced and the color commentators for each event. Giving a compliment followed directly by criticism is a backhanded compliment.

@@cdf8821 Oh. You must be Rebound. Either way, the Jordan mid-air crossover, merely by the fact that it's Jordan, makes it one of, if not THE, most iconic NBA Finals shot of all-time. Also, the Magic hook over McHale is, without a doubt, the second most iconic Finals shot of all time. I mean, subjective or not. Yet neither is included in this video. Watch the Finals this year and you'll see what I mean. I guarantee you'll see those 2 moments again and again. What's the deal with your backhanded compliment thing? Does constructive criticism bother you? No one said the video was bad. A backhanded compliment would be me ultimately saying the video is bad. I am saying the video is good, but there is always room for improvement. Here are some suggestions to make your amazing video get to the next level.
