omar the boi no, he never said they were illegal and not illegal, he said they were BANNED, but not illegal. If something is banned, it is against the law to use, if something is illegal, the item itself is against the law, meaning that the use of it and ownership of it are against the law. You can't use brass knuckles, but you can own them as a collector's item, making them banned, but not illegal. Same thing with butterfly knives in some cases.

As a kid,my older sister went to Africa for a vacation (why, I do not know) but she brought me home a whip that had a wooden handle that you could twist off and there was a 12” dagger inside but the blade wasn’t like a regular knife blade, it was a three sided triangle shaped that went from the point to about 3/4” at the bottom…lol great present for an 8 year old.

Ok so lets say person A goes to rob a 711 and kills the clerk and several other people and runs, yes hopefully they will catch him and he will suffer the consequence for his actions. now lets say there is an armed person B that stops or kills person A before he can kill anyone, one CRIMINAL dies while 3, 4 maybe 5 other people live. now lets say persons C, D, and E are all armed citizens. do you really think person A will even attempt. and if he does then natural selection should have done its job LONG ago

Knives are honestly the worst form of self defense, I was stabbed eight times and I still managed to strangle a mugger. It takes up to an hour to bleed out. I'd take a hammer or bat over a knife anyday.

Got 3 karambits (hook blade knives). In my ninjitsu school, these are considered sacred weapons. Everybody has to have one on them at all times. The colored blade ones are only allowed to those students who have had to use one in self defense or accomplishments. They are earned. Blue for those who have deescalated their attacker, red for those who have had to go all the way in self defense. White blade only for sensei, and gold for 5 years of dedication to the school. I am the sensei and require my students to carry one

The Jagged Commando is banned from war aswell because the extrodinary pain it can cause

They are illegal to PRODUCE as well. And besides guns or tasers are better for self defense than any of these weapons. So if you bring any of these to a policeman with a gun you will be shot.

So I think we can assume that the guy who made this vid has never handled any knife other than a kitchen knife. Most switchblades and butterfly knives are made so that they can be opened without harming the user. Once they are open, then they are no more dangerous than any other knife. Ballistic knives aren't like the things you see on Call of Duty. They are ridiculously weak and more of a novelty than anything. Karambits aren't any more deadly than any other knife. Just because it has a curved end doesn't make it much different to a regular knife.

The 3 weapon mentioned is more commonly known as a trench knife. It might have been used in WWII but started in WWI to make the fighting within the trenches easier

The one on the thumbnail isn't illegal. In fact, it was ww1 & ww2 concealable weapon meant for trench raiding & a spy weapon. It isn't used today due to better weapons out there.
