This is legit the most hyped I’ve ever been for a WWE game since 2K14, and while I enjoyed 2K19, I wasn’t hyped to the level of “OMG, OMG, I NEED THIS!!!!!”. I hope it delivers!

I still don't understand why people like 2k19 better than 18, but to each their own. On a related note, my 2k19 save took a complete shit like a month ago. I'm not sure if I'm still able to download my uploaded face and tattoos, and I'm not even gonna bother because what if it corrupts again?

I feel like WWE 2K did a good job with the Showcase mode, what I mean by this is I like how the coverstar is Rey Mysterio and showcase is Rey Mysterio. I feel like WWE 2K should do this from now on

I hope in the Rey Mysterio Showcase they have one ECW match with Mysterio vs Psicosis

I still wish Create-A-Story would also make a return. I used to sit & plan for hours at a time in previous games what storylines would take place, especially with my created wrestlers. If they decide to include it in 2K23, I hope they don't put limits on how many created wrestlers or created items you can use. One of the previous games would only limit you to 10 created wrestlers. For someone who has a massive roster of character, 10 isn't enough, especially when you use a Royal Rumble.

I've noticed when using more created content, the game tends to take longer to load than when using non-created content. I still believe they should have more content. After the abysmal releases of 2K20 & Battlegrounds, we deserved to have not just more content, but more content done correctly.

I would love for them to also add some other features from the previous Smackdown games: 1. From the first Smackdown game: Allow players to book a handicapped match for a singles title. You could have a 2 on 1 or 3 on 1 match, where the champion fights alone. The team of 2 or 3 could fight amongst themselves as to who will pin or submit the champion. I'd also like to be able to have entrants in a Royal Rumble match either compete for a title or allow a champion defend a title in the match. 2. From Smackdown 2: KYR: Create-A-PPV. I liked to idea of getting a highly rated match & getting a highly rated PPV event. I would always try beating my high score of 18.2% (they didn't use a star rating). 3. They should include intergender matches or at least include it in the options menu. 4. Bring back the ability to go backstage from the arena to various locations (locker room, boiler room, garage, parking lot, a restaurant, production trailer, etc.) 5. Bring back hardcore matches with other odd various weapons such as a microphone, stop sign, shopping cart, metal pole, mop handle, Etc.) 6. Bring back the I Quit match, one special referee match, two special referee match, casket match, & championship scramble. 7. Even if Create-A-Finisher isn't brought back, at least allow players to rename finishers & signatures (specific to the character). For example: One of my characters would have the Book End (Booker T's finisher) renamed to the Superior Slam & JBL's finisher (Clothesline from Hell) renamed to the Penalizer.

I wanna see a special guest referee online it would be fun to do it with friends and randoms also I wanna see online entrances

Holding multiple titles like Lance Storm (3) in wcw was cool too like in WWF no mercy. That would be a good add. THQ games was the best.

Dude how about holding the unified tag titles like DX in 2010. SVR 07 only showed 1 of each belt though 🤦🏼‍♂️.

Really hope they allow anyone to hold the tag titles at any given time. Was always so annoying that you had to create a tag team in order for them to compete for the tag title.

It's been confirmed that Rey mysterio's WCW 96 will be in the game

Good to see that they brought back the GM Mode. I remember playing in that mode all the time in the SmackDown Vs. RAW series.

Also I'm not happy about them going back to the button mashing thing especially since there is no way to know if we can kick out on time before the three count

The pin system mini-game will be similar to keeping yourself in the Royal rumble from 2k19, as so you have to mash the right button.

This is literally what I wanted, superstar mode, I like playing as my own character in my universe

Some interesting new perspective for you folks. I actually am happy about the return to button-mashing for kickouts, because the metered pin system was a huge problem for totally blind gamers like myself. At least this way, I'll have as much chance of kicking out as the average sighted person. However, as an advocate for accessibility, I also acknowledge that this button-mashing system is a huge problem for the motor-impaired. For that reason, I wish there was some sort of middle ground, or at least that a metered system was made blind accessible using soundcues or haptics. Ultimately, though, I must admit that I am personally pleased about this news. Thanks for reading!

I hopethat the pin kick out system, is like SVR 2011. Where you can do both.

I want to see CAS. What restrictions have they implemented? What options do we have left? I have a bad feeling there will be five haircuts total. 😂

Hopefully we could add our own music when we make our entrances and we could add superstars from 2k19 and 2k20 to the game

Limited reversals made the game more realistic in my eyes. Hopefully the matches won’t be reversal fests.

You had people spamming stomps to make people waste their reversals lmao, if you got a good lobby sure it was realistic; but way more often than not you just got people that abused the system to shit

Imo it’s more realistic with unlimited reversals because in real life anything can be reversed anytime. Maybe to make it even more realistic they could make it harder to reverse as you take more damage

I know most people don’t care but you don’t know how glad I am button mashing pin kick outs are back. I have really shit vision and it’s hard to see the correct time quick enough

I hope they still allow us to create messed up and funny characters because creating stupid characters with your friends and then fighting eachother was my favourite part about the game

"Play with the camera angles during the match".....Can we still choose the hard/fixed camera option? Different angles are cool but WWE has this highly annoying fast cut quick zooming Shield beat down shaky camera thing that I hate and don't want to emulate in a game!

In 2k20 Mysterios rating would be 86 ! But it would automatically change from 86 too 90 then back down too 86 again lol the entire game was a whole train wreck . I remember when I used Mysterio and there wasn’t a ref in the ring lol . At times I would be in the universe mode, and before I start my show, I would view my roster, and once I went back too “ start the show “ it would say “ next show” how can it say next show when I haven’t even started it yet . I could also be on Smackdown and once I go too start the show, it says raw 😂

Good to see the 2006 rumble will be on showcase but I wonder who they’ll replace Benoit with cause he entered at number 12 that match

WrestleGamia Looking forward to this game!, Skipping NBA 2K23, I wish there was story creation though like fans make sick Marvel V DC type story lines!, But other than that the game looks more polished like the best of past games

Infinte Reversals now with online as well will be a huge improvement, especially when there are ground stomp spammers

Pin wheel system was amazing. Why did they remove it?😭😭 The best updates that I liked in WWE 2k16 were workholds & wheel pin system.

Kicking out of pins never should've been changed from button mashing. The mini game made it so a full power character could lose in 20 seconds if they didn't time it right.

Truthfully, I'm okay with the button mash to break out of a pinfall. I don't like the system of having to time button press to get out of the pin attempt, especially when it will occasionally glitch & not appear until after the count of 1.

That wasn't a glitch. That was their attempt to make it more realistic. For example of they were just hit with a finisher they didn't give you the option to kick out for the 1 count so you only had 2 attempts adding to the drama. Lok

Rumour has it that the Rey vs Eddie ladder match is in the game where you can unlock Dominik Mysterio as a Unlockable character

i hope they have a setting that u have a setting that you can change the pin system or do like a combo pin kick out style

They're since SVR 06-SVR 08, after that games, GM didn't come back, but on 2K22 they're gonna make his return :)

All I hope is can make super heavyweights that are Hulk like, not a fan of less options just for graphics.

Removing the reversal limit is stupid. It added a crucial strategy element to the game. Now online matches are going to last 5 fucking hours and nobody will be able to hit their finisher unless it's a ground move.

I hope that button-mash pin-break game got changed. That seems like a great way to wear controllers out in a hurry.

Thank God they removed the reversal limit. I hated getting punished, simply because I ran out of reversals, especially when I knew I could've reversed a move.

@Owie Mayfair. More time to get accurate creations of each model too. Also, authentic differences in ring style, walk, running, posing, grappling etc, the way it was done in HCTP. You actually felt like you were playing as the character you selected.

If they could bring back custom soundtracks, I would be happy. Fire Pro Wrestling World did it...

HalfVampire well, blame WWE for that part, not 2K. They still choose to appeal to "political correctness". So, that is one of the other reasons why their games haven't been as fun as they used to be.

Im going to pre order the deluxe edition for 100 bucks on amazon. I would like to have nwo edition but its download only option. My question is are u able to buy nwo add on as dlc later?

Personally I hate the button mash mini games. I can never tap the button fast enough, and it's bell on my arthritis. This is one feature that might actually make me regret pre ordering this game.

Smart move, Kingston. Don't pre-order nothing. Wait till the game comes out, look at the reviews from multiple sites, observe all the footage & opinions that buyers release on the game. Then, make your decision.

2K20 is not even worth mentioning. I would've done 10 changes made from 2k19 to 2k22 instead.
