Something I figured out with a buddy a few years ago is that you can get into hero’s pass before the talon of god mission. This may be common knowledge but if you get under the map using a car and boost at just the right spot and get a little lucky you can launch your car up from below the map and over the door. This gives you access to hero’s pass and the vault early. Sal can probably just rocket jump over the wall. It’s pretty useless but still pretty interesting I think.

I actually know a interesting one, when fighting Haderax if you mute your game via the in-game options menu, Haderax spawns faster for some reason. You can check this by starting the fight and running to his spawn point, when the game is muted you can't get there before he spawns.

@@watfgaming202 YEAH it is spawning longer for roughly 3-5 seconds (without it was ~8 seconds, with it ~13 seconds)

@@telleva7890hat raid bosses r u killing with melee zero but not sniper??? For example, OP10 speed world record kills vs ancient dragons for melee zero is 13:40, whereas the sniper kill (with pre stacking which is easy since the ammo shrine is there) is 26 seconds and without pre stacking is 2:36. Then he can instantly bore Hyperious, Pete is easy for him with breaking off his helmet with the trespasser, etc. Melee is mathematically worse in the OP levels since melee scales with your character and you aren't leveling up, but the OP levels are. The guns and snipers you use do scale with OP levels though so objectively speaking no matter how u look at it sniper zero is better.

Another one of the many reasons I love this game. It has great replay-ability and I love all the layers! Such an iconic game. Always more to love.

Well that was super niche stuff :D Only things I knew before was the extra echolog in the "In Memoriam" quest, and even that was because you showcased it on Twitter couple days ago, and that rats can pick up and equip shields.

Did you know that the rough rider cannot be compared to other shields like maliwan and torgue. But for some reason the rough rider only can compare stats with all tediore shields

I’ve always played these games on console, so I was never able to manipulate the maps to much to find stuff. my biggest accomplishment is having all the achievements for them up to 3, couldn’t stand Wonderlands endgame enough to grind those achievements, but seeing stuff like this, whether it’s people adding stuff to the game or finding original gems. This franchise holds a special place in my heart, I remember finding the dev chest in Bl1 before I even knew what they were with my buddies on split screen, weren’t those the days. Keep killin it Joltz and showing me things a decade later I never knew.

It's crazy to me that this game is 10 years old. I remember when my mom surprised me and preordered this game for me and my dad. So many good memories

I've played BL2 since it's release (10 years!!!) and I've only ever noticed the invulnerability one. Really interesting video and it'll be even more interesting if there are more little things to find, which I imagine there will be

I know yall guys have probably all known this for years but i recently found out that salvadors "Ger Some" doenst just get triggered by shooting enemies but by shooting literally anything your bullets have some kind of effect on like barrels, bullymong piles, firemelons Its a great way to get rid of cooldond time between combat engagements or if ur like me and invest heavily into the mobilityskill in the brawn tree and travel by gunzerking a lot That "discovery" freed up the points i had always put into "im ready already" to fight said downtimes Interestingly, if you are actually constantly engaging enemies or shooting at objects "get some" is 4 times as powerful cooldown reduction per skillpoint than "im ready already" that one giving 5% cooldown reduction per point and get some giving 100% reduction for 0.6seconds per point every 3 seconds (effextively 20% decrease) per skillpoint (if it is constantly triggered) Honestly people go on and on about moneyshot but if you ask me "Get some" and "Steady as she goes" are the skills that make Sal The ability to keep using your actionskill for minutes at a time and the ability to have some of those bullets actually land on target were what transformed the gunzerking in my eyes from a Spray&Pray-Gimmick only useful to replenish ammo and get out of tight situations into: The way combat is done with Sal

I truly love this game and replaying it again it just never gets old salute to all still playing this masterpiece 💯🤙

1:18 the fun thing about the boarderlands 2, is all the buildings etc dont really have LOD'd except for the textures. So the Devs when building scenes or areas dont have to worry about out of bounds stuff being optimised, they can just copy and paste assets or entire spawn areas, which if you look from above in most areas you'll start recognizing the same shape/size/layout to some of the random enemy spawn camps. When most artists make a lever they will just design everything to look good from a flying perspective, this includes a lot of out of bounds stuff too, because they either didnt end up making a way to see the area, or didnt care it couldnt be seen because the other parts they were using were the important visible parts, and they dfidnt want to screw with it. Working in chunks can be like that. The elevator probally has the movement baked into the asset so they didnt need to remove or disable it because it would probaly mess with the asset overal.

Did you know a Storm Front can stop the Mr. Bonypants bridge from dropping all the way? If the storm front pops off while the bridge falls, the bridge will stop where they collide.

The one life mode is called "Badass mode" iirc. Modders would "infect" other players with it just by joining them. It got patched out.

I found this visual glitch with Sal that I'm pretty sure only works on console or if you're using a controller. While gunzerking you have a gun on the floor, make sure you can pick it up. You then double shot while looking at the gun and it'll merge the gun that you picked up with one the you were gunzerking. I'm sure some of us have done this on accident. I know joltz has despite playing on mouse and keyboard so there might be multiple ways of doing this glitch :)

Similar to being invincible when loading into a map, enemies will also ignore you until you move. Maybe it's related, if you're afk when loading is done, youre invincible and undetected until you move. Ive noticed that from old "doctors orders" loot midget farming.

Sorry Joltz I havnt tuned in for awhile but I’m glad I did and can’t believe that there was still so many things I didn’t know about this game.

I kinda had a hunch about that rat thing. I think that might be the only time BL2 has a mechanic similar to BL1 where an enemy will drop the gear/weapon they're actually using when you kill them. Everything else, nope didn't know! (except for the In Memoriam echo log thing which I saw you on Twitter talking about)

in regards to #9, badass mode was patched out after being datamined, save-edit characters would would flag lobbies and kill players via null reference friendly fire in order to delete them.

You inspired me to make my own BL2 videos. Have two so far.

I was a sophomore in Highschool when BL2 came out, I had never gotten into the series. He was raving about how good it was going to be so I promised I'd get it on release day, was the best decision of my life. Still my favorite game of all time, I have it on every platform. It's gotten me through some really hard shit, no other game will be the same.

That back area for sanctuary hole is super cool. I'm pretty sure lifts with gravity like that aren't even in the game at all.

I know that it's probably common knowledge but the characters have lines in the inventory, I've only tried it with zer0 but if you sit in his inventory for too long he'll say some voice lines
