I've only seriously dated 3 guys in my life. but i honestly couldn't have asked for better. they were all guys that i wasn't attracted to at first and/or we were just friends. after getting to know them better. they became more and more wonderful & attractive to me. so maybe just keep your eyes and heart open. cause they could be already in your life or on their way :)

I dated a guy who was the most helpful guy ever. Anyone needed help? He was there. If he saw an old lady struggling to put her groceries into her car, he helped her and would even return the shopping cart after. He also turned out to be one of the biggest assholes I've ever dated. Just a complete monster behind closed doors. Anger issues up the wazoo. One day we drove past a car that was stuck in some snow. He stopped, pulled out a shovel and some planks, then he proceeded to help the people get their car unstuck. Such a f*cking prince, right? Yeah it is if it's a genuine choice out of her free will despite adversity, i agree it's VERY attractive. But not when he's making her feel obligated to be happy because he feels overwhelmed and helpless and uncomfortable when she finds herself unable(not incapable) to be happy. And is not ok with her being unhappy and makes her feel bad for it (you should be happy, you shouldn't be sad) usually cus he's just dumb and lacks compassion.

The "happy" thing is sooo true. A guy told me that they are attracted to girls who smile and laugh a lot. Tried to do that and guys did start to like me.

#9 is true. I actually don't like when guys pay the first date. He might be expecting something because of it. I always insist on paying the for myself. Guys shouldn't be forced to pay, but it's cute every once in a while if it's a boyfriend.
