10 MLB Players That Will BREAKOUT In 2024
Спорт
In this video, I predict 10 MLB players who will breakout in 2024. Justin Steele and Yennier Cano both had breakout seasons last year out of no where, so I try to predict the next players like them to perform out of no where in this video. I think Volpe will definitely take a big step in 2024. Although his rookie campaign wasn’t the greatest, I feel he will become more comfortable in the box. His defense and baserunning is already very good so I think he will focus on offense this season to get on base more and maybe a little bit of power too. He could definitely be the hyped up prospect we thought he would be with a breakout 2024 season.

I think he'll be better offensively than he was in 2023, but don't think he'll ever be a fantastic offensive player. I think he'll be a great defensive shortstop with good speed and a Dansby Swanson type bat, which is really good if I'm being honest. The Padres catcher Luis Campusano is going to have a huge year. All he needs to do is stay healthy. Hes a good contact hitter who has a lot of pop. He was a considered a top 50 prospect but regressed. Then he built himself back up and performed very well in the league. Unfortunately he had a lot of nagging injuries last year.

I think Outman will have a similar season to 2023, maybe even slightly better because he shouldn't have to face as many left-handed pitchers with the Dodgers' depth being incredible this year. Cool video. I really don’t like when people in any sport predict prospects or rookies as breakout players. The sole reason being either guys that are top prospects/rookies are expected to be solid and rookies/prospects who are not elite prospects nobody should have the knowledge or foresight to predict it. I like the concept of guys of predicting guys who were once highly regarded or guys who flashed potential in a small sample size. I think it would be lazy for someone to put on a breakout list players like Jackson Chourio or even Evan Carter( who is probably going to break out in the sense of playing a full year, but his small MLB sample size with prospect status should be indicative that he is already a really good player).

They just signed Whit Merrifield so unfortunately there goes half or more of Pache's projected playing time. I hope you're right. With Marsh out for spring training like you said Pache will definitely get a chance to stand out. @@BlakeRobins0n right I agree! But I truly believe he could end up closing some games for them tho💯I’m a Seattle fan and they haven’t really had a true closer since Diaz, unless u wanna say Sewald which personally I wouldn’t😂😂, so they can easily go with the fresher arm atm, so u can easily see brash close out games here n there, same with Munoz then Santos or they just go with the hot hand and whoever is on fire atm will be the guy until they have a “slump” 😂🤷🏼so pretty much what you just said, Santos get used in different situations😂either way if they all stay healthy that bullpen will be crazy good💯

@@brennannedeff6322 I wouldn't be completely shocked if he ends up closing games for them. I really like Munoz, but he does struggle with his command at times. I also wouldn't be shocked if Brash ends up getting save opportunities if Munoz struggles. He pitched in more games than anyone in 2023 and I'm sure he'd be fine in any role. Either way, those 3 guys are fantastic for the back end of the bullpen. Definitely think it will be Top 5 in the league in ERA

I feel that Kelenic will be a lefty Adam Duvall for them

I left him off because he already hit 30 home runs and 30 doubles last season. Him increasing his OPS a bit would be great, but I also think it shouldn’t be surprising if he does it
Bo Naylor will be breaking out.

Nolan Schanuel. Trout looking like their last great breakout player since 13 years ago, but Schanuel could end up quite the 1B for years to come.
I'm so unbelievably tired of seeing Abrams on these lists. Yeah he's an easy pick for them, cuz he already freaking broke out!!!!

I wouldn’t say so honestly. His OPS is barely over .700
Holy crap listening to this guy is like waiting for a disclaimer at the end of a commercial and actually trying to understand it 😂 Slow the heck down the season is over a month away & KZread is free 🤔 I felt like I was listening to a AI produced broadcast 🤣

You're the only person who complains about how quick I speak. Most people actually prefer it so they don't have to watch 30 minute videos that have 15 minutes worth of content

@@BlakeRobins0n Slow down bro and let people understand what the heck your even saying. But no im not the only one Im setting here with 5 others and we did have a great laugh 😂 out of it. But why read the script so fast like your late for a flight. 😂 Have a great weekend just some constructive criticism might want to atleast breath between each player. 😂

You are really just looking for something to complain about aren't you? There is nothing wrong with the way he speaks, and I find it so strange when people go out of their way to criticize the most inconsequential aspects of a video. If you can't understand what he's saying I think it may be a comprehension issue

@@tylerbrown565 No i literally couldn't keep up if I wanted too. I have never had to give someone an opinion on speech. But dang that was crazy and didn't even pause a second between players 😂 I was setting with 5 others planning out 41st annual fantasy draft all trying to actually follow. Two actually tried to write down a few things he pointed out. Best they got out of it was enough time to write down 6 names 😂. To each his/her own but that was serious like hearing a disclosure at the end of a prescription add.
Kelenic is a bad pick, lmao. Any Seattle fan who had to suffer through watching him play, he never impressed.
