Counter-point: #9 The Fireflies. The game lore states that the "zombification" is caused by a fungal infection. There is *_no fungal infection on Earth that can be cured, nor can a cure be found, within the brain_* - including the brains of those who are immune to said infections. The game even points this out by mentioning how many other "immune" they've removed the brain of. tl;dr: The Fireflies were just another tribe of murderous lunatics, not "saviors". Which means Abby in The Last of Us Par 2 was the child of a monster, and a monster as well.

Technically the fireflies plan would never work in real life, so he saves Ellie life (but I do think he kills more people than necessary while saving her)

also another point for wheatley is that its likely glados' body and position that made him go crazy as it gave him an unending need to test with the relief of a successful test being less sufficient each time. and wheatley lacked the mental capacities to resist it, once removed from the body he returned to his normal state realzing what he had done

I think Flowey/Asriel from Undertale is misunderstood because even though he was a psychotic flower at the beginning, when we find out that he was the slain son of Asgore and Toriel, things have changed because he is motivated to spend more time with his friend/brother. You can definitely feel his pain at the end of the battle when he tries the killing blow, but doesn't have the strength to do so. That is definitely great storytelling.

I'm glad Ben and Peter are still on KZread in some way (much as I miss the Vidiots and Mikey's incredible laugh), but I'm also kind of sad that they're back to doing lists like this. Isn't this a massive part of what they hated about [Name Redunded]?

Honestly in Assassins Creed 3 none of the antagonists seem really that bad except for Charles Lee, which is apt as he was a massive POS in history.
