Hey Ross. Great content as always. Would you consider making a video on how to use statistics better to predict which players might do better in future gameweeks? It will be really helpful!

The points about captaincy and making decisions for yourself are spot on mate. Last season was my first in FPL and I put my neck on the line triple captaining Callum Wilson in GW36 and he got 72 points for me and got me a 135 pt week was such a great feeling. Keep up the great content Ross mate 👍🏻

My story about point 9 from last season. Knowing I was going to wildcard in (I think GW8), and also knowing that Son was having a horrid season thus far, I had a feeling and want to make the transfer and punt on him for 1 gameweek, knowing that he blanks it's fine, I'll be wildcarding anyway. He was benched, came on at half time and scored a hat trick. That was a 90 minute rollercoaster but definitely one of my favourite FPL moments of last season.

Great video as always Ross. The biggest mistake is definitely to avoid taking hits during the season

Thanks for this Ross, I know I have fallen foul of a number of these so it's a good reminder, I will have to rewatch ahead of GW1. I definitely want to keep remembering that it is supposed to be fun & try not to take it too seriously but still strive to get better. I am conscious of not just copying people's teams, I want to find a balance between my ideas & also listening to some of the managers who have consistently done well. Cheers I need to listen to no 7 for sure . One of the best piece of advices ive read on the game is similar to your take on GK but for forwards in that its not wise to rotate forwards due to game difficulty . Toney x2 v city springs to mind . So ill be using the your GK advice and will apply to my forwards also . I love the way you explaINED rule no 7(very true) but weather it gets through to me i dont know ! :)

#10 having fun is very important. You have spoken before about mental health issues - if you make the wrong pick(s), you are always in good company.

Speaking from experience, number 11 should be don’t go crazy with chips… just copy what everyone is doing if you don’t want to ruin your season early

I have built 2 drafts one with my heart and one with my head. The first one I think is very cool and includes trent, salah and haaland but I don't know it is as good as my other draft. 3-5-2 Onana Stones Estupinan Gabriel Foden (a bit of a differential instead of Bruno) Saka Rashford Mitoma Mbeumo Haaland Jesus Bench Wolves keeper 4.0 (forgot name) Porro Pau Semenyo Got quite a strong bench ready to rotate if needed and the villa run from GW5 looks good Tried to go a bit template with 1 differential and a stronger bench allowing to create 4-4-2 or 5-4-1 if needed.

Differential Captain pick did me dirty last season. I am playing safe with captaincy this time.

What is a free resource for seeing teams weaknesses (like down the left side etc)?

Yeah, could do with a video on tools to use, how to understand stats, which stats to look at etc, etc. The more technical side of FPL. If you're reading Ross, a video including some of this stuff would be very interesting and helpful.

Please make a vdo on how to build money, specially in the first half of the season.

I know my weakness is taking too many hits. I love to have a team I feel good about rather than have to play a defender with hard game or so. Particular if I lost faith in players I want them gone for the hot ones. Often these hits work, but waiting one week and doing it for free often even better.

I don’t mind that as much, just because worst case and you can’t make the move, the team isn’t heavily affected as you still have a premium option

Is doing Nunez to nkunku for GW3 a good idea, considering liv play Bournemouth GW2

don't go for nunez in the first place, nkunku and nunez can get you similar points despite fixture difficulty but nkunku is more nailed on whereas nunez has rotation risk with jota/gakpo etc

@@itzsxli_7164 Potentially, if he can guarantee minutes then I would choose him as he’s more of an out and out striker compared to nkunku being more of a cf/cam/ 2nd striker, and the extra 0.5 can help you with squad flexibility, if you want save an extra 1.5 mil then I suggest wissa is a great pick too
