He was the ISKA World Welterweight Oriental Rules champion, as well as the winner of the K-1 WORLD MAX World tournament in 2003 and 2008. In addition, he was also the runner-up of the K-1 World MAX World tournament in 2004 and 2007."

Fantastic vid! Masato was soooo good! A real hero of mine. In my opinion he’s the only guy to ever beat Buakaw under K-1 rules except of course for Sato. Speaking of Masato vs Buakaw, the way Masato conducted himself during their first fight made me respect him even more. To fight on like a true warrior under those circumstances is just as impressive as the asswhupping Buakaw delivered. I tried to emulate Masato’s style for many years. Very good video with great music. Thanks for posting awesome fight clips and not using the same tired trashy songs. This is classy and smooth. Just like Masato.

This is a really well made highlight video. I haven't watched much of Masato, but I definitely will now. I'll also listen to some acid jazz.
